Oh, random question : can you run a PC game from a MicroSD ?

You all talking about specs and I'm still using an old i5-4440, though if everything works I may upgrade to a Ryzen 3500 or 3600. Old processors, but there is no way I'll be able to afford the new ones.

We are at Ryzen 4xxx ? Honest, I don't follow that closely.

The E3 2021 Nintendo Direct takes place later today, and Nintendo has issued a statement which is unlikely to go down all that well with seasoned video content creators.

The statement was posted on Nintendo's official Japanese Twitter account, and says that while it's fine to stream your reaction to the broadcast as it happens, you cannot use any audio or video taken from the Direct itself in your livestream. So, if you're looking to run a live, as-it-happens reaction video
as the event is taking place, you can only show your face.

However, once the Nintendo Direct has concluded, then reaction videos with the audio and video from the Direct are permitted.

The company has also released some additional guidelines for content related to the Direct, and states that if it feels that any of these rules have been broken, it will take legal action against the person who created the video. It's pretty standard stuff, to be honest.

fokkusu None of the streamers i have been watching have been streaming any of the conferences on their feed. You have a tab with them in it and a tab with the conference in it. Most of them anticipate trouble like this and just treat these events like they treat movie or concert watchalong streams.

They treat all of this material like it's copyrighted and just play it safe.

Re-watching the SMT V trailer and it looks like they've gotten rid of Gun Skills. There's no dexterity stat and the affinity icon for gun is missing. Kinda lame, but oh well.

Extended trailer:

I like what they did with SMT5, and it has a female protagonist :dizzy-face:
But I'll wait for the game on a more powerful platform, it looked pretty poopy.

It's still male, isn't it? Just the longer hair gives him a more feminine appearance.

Yeah, not a fan of the UI. Not sure what's up with that, lol. Atlus has already shown they can do good UI, but eh.

Fun fact: confirmed Steam release, which pretty much greenlights my theory that SEGA uses EGS as the place to put the content that they are not very confident about IF epic is willing to pay exclusivity (aka Troy and Sonic Colors)

Well, that wasn’t so bad, but it was definitely E3 Covid Edition. Snooze.
I started the stream really bitter I had just sent my Switch to the buyer, but apart from SMTV, Danganronpa and Fatal Frame, I had no particular interest in anything.

Suprised at the lack of 3rd party announcements. Maybe desptie of how well the Switch is selling, people are mainly buying Nintendo 1st party games?

Like Guardians of the Galaxy is apparently a cloud version.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AMAZZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG THANK YOU GOOOOOOODDD

Fatal Frame coming to Steam too
Just to set expectations.
This was received decent to average reviews from fans.

Though FF2 (PS2 ver., not the Wii Remake) is still one of the best survival horror games ever.

SMTV - Sad to see he’s a male. Female protag looked fresher.

Yea Metroid Dread looks great. One of the best things Nintendo announced in years imo.

That AMEE looking thing chasing the player from area to area is incredible. The style and theme looks so good for it.

Yeah early Fatal Frame were incredible, but... I tried quickly emulating the first one some weeks ago and I really fear no resolution boost can save it. It was butt ugly.
Prove me wrong and get my sincere gratitude.

Nintendo's thing had more games I'm interested in than any other show.

Thanks Ryujinx/Yuzu teams for letting me play those games at good visual quality
I should upgrade my 2600x :anguished-face:
...
Oh, evidently my MB must be incompatible.
Fuck. Everything.

Fatal Frame on PC is a nice surprise, at least. Metroid Dread looks pretty bland and unimpressive visually, but the gameplay seems quite solid

I'm just interested in SMTV, since it's Unreal Engine I hope they'll port it to more platforms later

looks pretty rough on Switch but if it ever goes multiplatform, UE4 means it'll port up a lot better than SMT3 did

ROOUGHHH??? ROUGH??? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALIING ABOUT

IT LOOKS STUNNING, IT RUNS STUNNINGLY, IT'S STUNNIIINGGGG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I mean, it does look pretty rough visually. Especially when it shows the assets up close in the cutscenes.

Not that it matters much IMHO, but when you consider that it runs on the same HW as e.g. Zelda does it does look dated.

Edit: I was actually talking about Metroid here, but it applies to SMT as well :p
