Honestly, I'm just worried about what Windows 11 will inevitably fuck up and ruin.

They should add a marker on the festival site for which demo I have installed so I don't accidentally start a demo. Installed 40 demos.

So any chance Ys 9 could have an option to turn off "I FOUND A TREASURE CHEST!" barks? It gets old after a minute, and starts becoming annoying after the 200th time, especially as Falcom thinks it's useful to inform me about this right when I'm standing in front of the bloody thing!
Loved the demo otherwise. This feels like a great evolution of the combat in Ys VIII, the addition of verticality is great.

all I can say to this is if society is a group, then my group is made up of miniature painters, 40k fans, comic book fans, anime fans and people who I game with.

I gotta say, that Fatal Frame game coming to Steam is pretty exciting. I'm a sucker for survival horror and the FF game I played a few years back was really good. These games are pretty scary, it's awesome.

Pretty cool. The soundtrack is old school as hell. I dig it.

This was a fun demo. A sidescroll action platforming sci fi bounty hunter game. I'm liking the graphic style although the animation could be better, The arkham batman style combat isn't bad either. I dig it.
Gorgeous pixel graphics, a little souls-like in the gameplay. It's pretty good.

It's unfortunate that there aren't many good alternatives in the mainstream and cheap parts of the industry right now.
I continue to be glad that I picked up a HTC Vive initially followed by the Valve Index.

I get the feeling my GPU might be dying... A slew of different games have been crashing with various "D3D device missing" errors, which tells me it's flatlining. Then every process built in Chromium completely breaks until I restart... What a time for this shit to be happening.
Have you checked the temps to see if it overheats?
If not you can try underclocking the core and or memory to delay the inevitable.
It's been overclocked, but I'm pretty sure it's at levels it's not had problems with a few years ago. I've tuned it down.
As for temps, it seems to never go above 185 F when I'm playing something that makes it sweat. Looking it up, I think that's about the tip of the safe zone for my exact brand of GPU, an MSA Aero GTX 1080.
I played the demo and it's super solid! It's now on my radar.
