I'm mixed about Vaporum, but it may be an issue born of misplaced expectations, I don't know.
I was in for the dungeon crawling, killing things and looting chest. Now evidently, it's too barebone a formula to make a full game, so the dev added puzzles and secrets to find. But I have issues with these two elements.
Now granted, I'm not good at puzzles, and I will admit that at least they are not that hard for the moment, but... I never signed for Sokoban or playing my little Librarian
That was the part where my issues could be totally my own, but...
Now, about the secrets... I had to look at online maps to find some of them, and... I'm really not convinced about the balance of loot here. The game can be hard, you never drown in loot, then you find a couple of secrets and you swim in upgrades and shit.
I honestly feel like the balance between normal and secret loot is a little rotten.
And I'm on level 4/12 and already bored. Fuck my life

"no plans at this time" is standard PR-speak for "we haven't announced anything yet," not a denial. (though it's certainly not confirmation either)
anyway, my expectations are extremely low for this given that they aren't even promising new announcements; any E3 announcements from Capcom are more likely to be in the Xbox or Nintendo events, or maybe the Summer Game Fest kickoff. but we'll see
This reminds me how much I enjoyed both Reverie and Minoria. Awesome games.
Maybe I should play Reverie. I enjoyed the older games in the series. But a little tired of vania games.

I think the only thing I disliked in Minoria were some visual effects usually in boss fights making it hard o understand what was going on.
I have both Minoria and Reverie on Steam, the latter for years now, but haven't gotten around to playing either tbh :/
damn, I think I'm out of touch with communities then. The only reason I wanted ps4 was for BB and its always in the back of my mind that this game is the only reason to own a ps lol.

I really don't mean to be dismissive or attack you, just saying that there aren't small fries here and not convinced it's that important to determine the winner in this race.
They are short games so if you have the metroidvania itch some day consider playing them.

Since we are talking about Metroidvanias I will recomend some:
Valdis Story has 4 different characters (2 are unlocked after finishing the game), the combat is deep and can be pretty hard under certain circunstaces.
The artstyle may be off putting for some people, but it's a good game with a fluid combat.
This one is a hard game, it doesn't hold your hand though exploring the map feels rewarding.

Would there be a way to have a Windows folder appearance customized, but just this one folder ? I was again musing how I don't like most 10-foot UI and remarking that if I at least could customize my shortcuts folder it could be tolerable. Like have it not display the shit on the left panel or header. Maybe a custom color like some black background, and setting a moderate icon size.
I ask because as far as I know, when you customize a folder it changes every folders, which is certainly not what I want.

Im trying to like Subnautica, I love to explore the ocean in the game, but I do not like the crafting system, fells quite confusing and intuitive compared to other survival crafting games like Satisfactory, The Forest, Grounded etc.
I'm waiting to see if they try a little during the Steam sale. It's, check notes, first in my wishlist.

Might help you explore the crafting systems more leisurely.

The worst part of a console exclusive release like Rift Apart, imo, is all the console warriors coming out of their caves slamming, trolling and shitposting about the other console's exclusives. Like now just by scrolling through Twitter I see people like TheRealJayDub2 and Crapgame trolling, shitposting and slamming Xbox, sometimes a bit PC people too, but mostly the other console. I don't follow any of them, but they keep popping on on my feed. It's extremely annoying. I mean they seems to get off on shitposting and trolling the other console

Yeah me too, however I thanksfully grew out of it pretty fast when I bought the other console and started playing on PC too. It was mostly at the start of the PS3 era, but then I bought the 360 for Alan Wake (still one of my goats) and then I realized how stupid console warring was.

I had a similar trajectory when I adopted PC as my primary platform back in the mid 2000's.
Something about ejecting from the MS/Sony/Nintendo horserace made the desire to compete simply evaporate into thin air. That and PC gaming often feels like it's in a completely different orbit than consoles anyway.
Sony-zealots still piss me off from time to time though, lol.

PC gamers (and probably thebother consoles fanboys) shitpost and troll on PS exclusives too in a lot of occurences. "Braindead gameplay", "Overrated", "Awards bait", "Third person template", and so on. That's just the way it is with the internet.
Guess Im in the wrong places because I never see PC gamers do that.
Well, I don't even know who is a PC gamer and who is not unless Im visiting obvious places like r/pcgaming and r/pcmasterrace. And there I mainly see people wishing for certain console games to release on PC, not talking them down. Like, on r/pcgaming I never saw people trolling and shitposting about Demons' Souls or Spidey, they think they look good and want to play them on PC.
