According to Steam, I've played 1.3 hours of the game. That can't be true because I spent at least one hour of it debugging what possibly softlocked me from starting the game and then finally experiencing a few seconds of gameplay before softlockingg again.
1) If you click on the name entry with your controller, the game softlocks as it refuses to respond to any keyboard input. I get the feeling the game for whatever reason is waiting for keyboard inputs from your controllers. Since that's impossible, the game softlocks.
2) Resolution is really bad. I don't know what container this port is using, but a "small" resolution just means the game's video becomes smaller but the window isn't. It makes 3) quite difficult.
3) For people who want to play in Japanese, name input is actually a pain. Microsoft IME uses enter to confirm the Japanese text while space allows the user to change the kana into kanji or katakana. The game also uses space and enter for basic confirms. I haven't tried to rebind it yet (the keyboard controls in general are a mess), but you have to use Numpad's Enter key. For folks with a 60% keyboard, it's time to boot up on-screen keyboard just to get the hidden text typed out. Imagine the pain of doing this for any character and being unsure when the game will softlock.
4) Controller support is unbelievably bad. If you think disabling Steam controller support is annoying, the controller loves to freeze up any keyboard inputs. It's better to play the game with keyboard and mouse because of this.
5) In Saviors, the "Switch games" has become "witch games".
6) You can close the game through a hidden button in the title screen.
7) Closing the game is practically impossible anyway. I don't like to use Task Manager to end the game all the time.
