Yeah, I think so too. The OLED Deck got a pretty substantial boost to battery life. I doubt there's much of a difference when running identical content. I don't have any data though, just my experience with both machines.

I'm getting something like 8 hours of battery life on the OLED Deck for Trails to Azure. (I don't know how much it gets on Switch)
I thought that's pretty impressive.

Am I just not keeping up or did this come completely out of the blue?

Yep that's sad, I will give it a try later since I've got the supporter edition for 25€ on instant-gaming. My curiosity is more for personal reasons (
I've lived there for decades and I know the city like the back of my hand xD) than the game itself but seems it's a bad game.

What a weird thing to bring back, it looks just like the Torque (Tribes 2) engine/Garage Games Think Tanks. just demade in PSX/Minecraft graphics. So random.

It's not just a weirdly similar concept, it's the same thing, the tank designs, jump pads and everything else is there but made of cubes.

I am also surprised, but EA and Valve seems to have come to agreement to run EA subscription through Steam as well (and not just EA App and Gamepass) so I guess that is the reason.

Very welcome development in any case, I wish EA would add their entire back catalogue. Like, coming back decades. I want NFS 1-5 on steam.

EA Play subscription has been on Steam for a few years now.

I think they decided to bring over more titles since they are working on expanding EA Play to EGS soon and wanted more parity between the Origin, EGS, and Steam versions of EA Play basic.

Yeah I wish they'd have everything there from their back catalogue, but I would want that from every publisher that has tons of cool old games ... bring all the classics to Steam

Unicorn Overlord is heading to PlayStation, Xbox Series consoles, and Switch, but not to PC – is there any reason in particular you chose not to aim for PC at launch? Has there been any discussion about a PC port later on?

Yamamoto: As a publisher, we would like to deliver it to PC users as well, but per our agreement with Vanillaware, we are only releasing on console. In other words, there are no plans to port it to PC currently.

It does recognize controller, has native support which wasn't common back in those days. Just change the SD controller layout to Gamepad with Trackpad Joysticks and the game recognizes the controller input. Played the first mission, so many nice memories. Game ran perfectly as well 60 fps (some dips here and there) and native 800p resolution

I have so many fantastic games lined up with more coming all the time, that a game skipping the platforms of my choice is really not my problem, it's the dev's.

Got gifted Helldivers 2 and Penny's Big Breakaway, and I ended up grabbing Ultrakill (granted, not a recent game), Persona 3 Reload (Through Fanatical for $60), and Robo Quest (Which I tried on Game Pass and enjoyed) on Steam.

Despite the AAA crash, this year is surprisingly good in terms of games. Makes up for the last three.
