This. For me, there has to be a Summer and a Fall game. Summer is TLOU2. Fall GOW Ragnarock (Since it will probably be the biggest seller of the year) and Until Dawn in October for spoopy season.Maybe August and then GoW September-October.

It would be dire if there was actual competition in the console market. There isn't. They're the biggest console brand in the world, Nintendo is never competing since they're only focused on the launch of the successor of their tablet and Microsoft is not competing since they're now putting Xbox games on PlayStation. Sony could go on without launching a 1st party game for PS5 for 2024 and 2025 and they still dominate the console business.Speaking of PS5 it really is dire for that system.
Covid threw a wrench in game dev and it wont recover until next genSony going hard this year. It makes sense since they don't have anything big as far as new PS5 games. They need to make up that revenue somehow.
Wouldn't surprise me if they manage to push out Gravity Rush Remasters, Ragnarok and TLOU2 in the 2nd half of this year.
Speaking of PS5 it really is dire for that system. I was searching through gamestop a couple days ago and going through all the PS5 games was really depressing. Its like 1 page of some interesting stuff and then it gets dire for the remaining of the search. The third party support is pretty much everything. They really lucked out by getting FF16 and FF7Rebirth. Square bailed them out. Without those two it would have been some WiiU ass legacy for the first half of the gen.
They need Wolverine and GTA6 next year.
Ghost of Tsushima 2 would be nice too.
With all these layoffs and inflated dev times/budgets it won't recover during or after next gen eitherCovid threw a wrench in game dev and it wont recover until next gen
Mice are not very powerful radio emitters, for obvious reasons. A couple mW at most. That'll cover a few meters. Maybe 10 in very good conditions.Anyone know if I could use a bluetooth mouse in a room 5-6 meter away through 2 walls?
Thx, I have no-name airpods who work at that range (with a distortion every now and then) dunno if they are more powerful than mice or not.Mice are not very powerful radio emitters, for obvious reasons. A couple mW at most. That'll cover a few meters. Maybe 10 in very good conditions.
I doubt anyone could know whether that'll work in your case. Depends what's in these walls.
Doesn't mean much if they receive signal and do not send it. Never used airpods, can you change tracks and such from them? If so they're emitters as well. I suspect Bluetooth requires a handshake anyway, so there is no purely passive BT device. If so that's a very good sign.Thx, I have no-name airpods who work at that range (with a distortion every now and then) dunno if they are more powerful than mice or not.
Yeah, the airpods can stop/start/forward on their own, away from the receiver/mobile device.Doesn't mean much if they receive signal and do not send it. They're small portable devices on battery, so I'd expect they'd be roughly as powerful as mice.
Unfortunately I don't find much info about radio power on the mice listings I'm looking at --- e.g. Class 2, Class 3, etc, so that's not easy to verify.
I did some testing with my G502 lightspeed, and I do get roughly 5-6 meters through either a wooden ceiling or 2 very light walls (not sure what path the signal actually comes through), but it dies the moment a large wall is interposed.
Kdeconnect enables you to use a phone as a media controller for your PC, among many other things --- I mostly use it for files and clipboard sharing, but I tested that functionality. You can also simply control the mouse pointer with it.Or is there some other hardware solution that has only the media function of start/stop/rewind/forward/(make fullscreen) I could use?
I've converted to wireless mice a few years ago; I couldn't go back. The cable did get in the way, sometimes, and I don't miss it.I have not owned wireless mice since the early 2000s
GSConnect too for GNOME, which is basically KDEConnect.Kdeconnect enables you to use a phone as a media controller for your PC, among many other things --- I mostly use it for files and clipboard sharing, but I tested that functionality. You can also simply control the mouse pointer with it.
Since it's wifi-based (you need to be on the same local network, e.g. be connected to the same router), range is not an issue.
It's Linux software, but there is a Windows version, apparently --- no idea how well it works under Windows. Presumably it's not the only piece of software that can do this.
I started using a wireless mouse a few years ago once Logitech's wireless solution was finally nearly identical with wired. Other manufacturers have caught up now as well.I've converted to wireless mice a few years ago; I couldn't go back. The cable did get in the way, sometimes, and I don't miss it.

Cartel isn't on steam anymore and has value for collectors btw. But if you're giving it I'll add it to my libraryI have keys for Call of Juarez 4: Gunslinger and Call of Juarez 3: The Cartel. Anyone wants them? I am not sure if they are used or not. Not going to use Mona to give out something that I am unsure if they are used or not.
It never willI just want XVI PC to come out already so the internet can move on from this tiring Rebirth Vs XVI discourse.
It will Just move to Rebirth vs Next FF and so onIt never will
not expecting Square to have it ready in time for the 3 months. I think Square begged Sony for another yearly exclusivity window (and thus lots a money) and Sony went allI know it's usually not any kind of confirmation but I really hope the date that suggested only 3 months of exclusivity for Rebirth ends up being accurate and S-E has a port ready to drop on Steam as soon as the exclusivity runs out like last time. I want to play FFXVI but I'm not in any kind of rush tbh and I'd much rather get Rebirth ASAP, so it would suck to see it get delayed just to space it out from XVI...
Why would Square be the ones begging for exclusivity? If this were literally any other S-E game, sure. But this is FFVII. Sony needs it, not the other way around.not expecting Square to have it ready in time for the 3 months. Soon Gabe Newell's team will be in that game.
I think what Mivey is saying is that maybe Square was counting on an exclusivity offer again, assuming it was 1 year, but Sony only "bought" 3 months knowing Square wouldn't have a port ready immediately anyway, meaning they get free exclusivity while Square gets less upfront money alongside the limited PS5-only audience*Why would Square be the ones begging for exclusivity? If this were literally any other S-E game, sure. But this is FFVII. Sony needs it, not the other way around.
Given how they are always willing to opt for exclusivity contracts for Final Fantasy franchise in particular, I don't get the impression that Square really believes that their products would make enough money on their ownWhy would Square be the ones begging for exclusivity? Normally, you'd think a publisher of S-E's size would have development for all platforms occurring in parallel and this wouldn't be an issue but... yeah. Normal doesn't really apply here does it.Given how long AAA dev times are, they likely planned to have another year long exclusivity period and not focus on porting to PC any earlier.
They said something like "Making Rebirth was only possible because we focused on one platform", so yeah.Normally, you'd think a publisher of S-E's size would have development for all platforms occurring in parallel and this wouldn't be an issue but... yeah. Normal doesn't really apply here does it.

Everyone knows when you add a platform you double the work. Need to make another Cloud model, redo all the assets, redo the soundtrack, etc...They said something like "Making Rebirth was only possible because we focused on one platform", so yeah.
I know P3 might be a masterpiece or whatever, but $105 dollars for the game + expansion pass is fucking ludicrous lmao. Buy like 6 humble bundles at that point lolYou can buy this:
