What if this is the month humble starts with EGS games in the monthly, make an awesome early unlock and then put in EGS game and people can't complain too much.
I doubt it will happen but honestly I would probably just shrug and let the keys rot unclaimed. That early unlock value is already so good that the remaining games could be 4 copies of Bad Rats and it would have still been a great deal (though that would be preferable to egs keys).

I'm really at the point where I can't muster any emotions towards the egs and egsclusive announcements. I will never buy from them so if your game only exists there... it's your problem, not mine. I only learn of those games because they get posted here, otherwise they might as well not exist for me.
Anything beyond indifference feels like a waste right now.

Spyro has interesting Steam Input support. It supports the icons for the DS4/XB controllers. If you're using a Steam Controller, you can use a straight up KB/M config and still have rumble support. I'm very cool with that.

Anthem looks like it would be really cool if it was a single player game but I have no interest in these online only GaaS type games personally. A shame.

I'm certain I bought a Mass Effect 3 key on GMG way back. Did they stop selling keys on other stores?

I realized, probably one of the reasons why I like RE7 so much, is because it's always in first person view! Not many games that does that, stay 100% in that view for everything.

Is it me or most of those "reviews" look super-fake?
I checked the profiles of several of the people reviewing.

They all have the same games (by the same developer), nothing else. A couple have one or two more free, or frequently bundled games.
They follow groups of certain games (like Natural Selection) without actually owning or playing those games.
Strangely, at least one is a 10 year old account.

At best, these are friends of the developers who were gifted the games, and posted supportive reviews of their games.
At worse, these are the developers themselves reviewing the game.

I mean, check, for example, this profile:

The titles "she" has reviewed are pretty much all the titles from the same developer behind the game.

This profile is the same thing (all reviews are games by the same developer):

This one is mostly the same (but also has a couple of games that were given away for free on Steam or Humble):

This one is the same thing:

And this one:

And so on.

lol, this is hilarious
what a random drop

just FYI this is last post of these devs back in May
34BigThings is sorry to announce that the launch date for Redout: Space Assault has been delayed.

"Ever since its reveal, fans have been waiting with bated breath for this game.” says Valerio Di Donato, 34BigThings’ CEO, “We are committed to delivering them the best experience possible, both in terms of content and polish. We know that fans have high expectations for Space Assault, and we want to give them a game worthy of the passion and trust they have in the franchise.”

"In its current state, the game is not realizing its full potential.” continues Di Donato, “We want to add more features that will make the experience better, as well as strengthening the storytelling. Game development is a rocky road riddled with challenges, but we will keep working at the best of our abilities to create a game that will blow players away.”

I am as disappointed as you are, although I don't want to squander the potential of this game. We did the same with Redout, and (more or less) everyone was happy in the end, so I'm sure we can deliver this time too.
Thanks for your patience <3

Apple arcade picking quite a bunch of titles that were promising and dissapeared from the face of the earth before random AA drop

Not a big fan of smaller kbs, but I have a Logi G910 Orion something and I vouch for them Logi keyboards 100%.

I want a G604 sooooooooo much, like, I need it for yesterday

On Amazon it's like $89 to import it but it will 100% get taxed by customs :suicide-blob:
The G604 is probably what I'll buy if my mx518 ever dies. I think it's going on... 14 years of constant use now, and everything still works? It's staggeringly resilient. Had no idea what I was buying into when I got it :p

Well, I'm 28 right now.

From 20 to 25 I finished college and hopped between 3 jobs. I left my parent's house on my 26th birthday. Things have been, uh, difficult. There are weeks that I stuggle to pay the bills and pay for food because I left home with a very high credit card debt, which I'm on my way to completely pay.

I tell myself that this was for the better even if I havent had the most comfortable life these past two years, at least I have a (rented) roof over my head and in truly dire situations my friends were able to give me a hand. If I were at home, I would still be drowning in debt plus my parents monitoring everything I do :p

Right now I'm sitting on my ass playing videogames with headphones, something unthinkable in my parents house in a Sunday.

Houses / apartments are stupidly expensive here so I don't worry too much about it because I wouldnt be able to afford one anyway, I would rather rent at premium prices (I don't, currently) near my workplace than have 'my house' and endure a 2 hour commute everyday.

All of my friends are either trying to get married, pregnant, living with their girlfiends and the like. And I'm like, fuck that lol. I love my girlfriend, but I would never get married, much less have a kid (actually I want to get a vasectomy soon).

I'm supposed to be CEO of my own company, married, with kids, with a huge ass house according to my elders, but yeah, fuck that.
I started going to community college when I was 17, but I didn't get my associates degree until 27 or 28, after meandering around and working for barely above minimum wage for years and years, while living with my parents. Then I got my B.S. degree and got my first "real" job at 30. It pays OK but underpays for the role, but it has really excellent health insurance which here in the states is critical for me as I have T1 diabetes. It's nowhere near my dream job and not even anything I am energized about but it works for me for now and that is as important as anything.

There are more and more people "starting" later in life than ever before, some of that is the ridiculously broken society we've built up on the back of the worst aspects of global capitalism, and some of it is just because we live a lot longer, there's a lot more choices, and yet a lot fewer options. Asking people to pick their career fresh into college at 18 was always stupid, it's just now more obvious.

Basically what I'm saying is, don't worry about the fact that you aren't where those isolated stories portray people at. You could just as easily find a greater number of people single, living at home or in poverty, many years older than you. Just try to find a path you can feel OK walking down. (And be nice to other people, on the way)

So on my quest to find my next game to play, i started Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night ( via Gamepass ). Played for a little bit, enough to explore and get past the tutorial ship and into the castle. Then the game proceeds to crash when i try to read a bookcase. Okay, crashes happen, so i load the save, do it all over again, i get to the same bookcase, and it crashed again.

Is it a known issue or something ? Should i bother reading the bookcases going forward ? Should i uninstall this trash and find a better game to play ?

Also, playing at 4k, game doesn't look too hot, especially the models when the characters are talking :neutral-face:

Other than the name I honestly don’t know how 😛

Btw. what camera mode are you playing in? I think it defaults to the new one which has pointless walking around. Would recommend changing that to classic which made the battles snappier for me.
I did change to the classic camera mode!:D Much better, well I didn't move the camera anyway at all. Also changed to fast battles.

Maybe I'm not understanding but what's new? Achievements have always had percentages for those that have it. And you were always able to see your recent unlocked achievements on a game's page. The only new achievement things I've noticed are the golden glow for achievements you have that have a less than 10% rate of ownership and the activity feed sort of update on a game's page that shows achievements you earned.
It's more about the presentation, it's nicely put there in a way that I feel was harder to see before, don't think you could see how many has completed something right away in the game tab, think you had to go to the global list? I do like glowing achievements now, they should have option to have different sounds for them like on xbox, really like getting those diamond achievements!:D

That's because the models when the characters are talking and in the inventory are rendered at a fixed 1080p regardless of resolution.
You can make the game (in-game) look great with 4x supersampling using normal UE4 ini tweaks, but that doesn't change the 1080p buffer used for the other stuff.

It sucks hard and I had hoped they would patch it (which would most likely be extremely easy).

Most of you guys are probably got this latest HB Monthly anyway, but for those who are still thinking I've made a preview video of the PC version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy:

I honestly thought it was an error the first time I saw this bundle because Activision games are rarely going on such deep sales, even one of those early unlocks could have been a solid line-up, but all 3 unlocks? That's a crazy deal even considering regional pricing. Now give me regular weekly HB Bundle with old Call of Duty games!

GRID is pretty good, but there's still a lot that can be worked and developed more, especially regarding rivalries and car customization. I was really wishing that CM brought a bunch of bits and pieces of F1's career mode to it.

So... turns out that starting to play Destiny 2 the same week I have a lot work to do was not a good idea. Who knew?

Granted, I think I was less confused when I started to play Star Trek Online several years ago, but the shooting part is still very fun.

The career could've used more love, its presentation is very barebones. Which has advantages, you can quickly get into a race and the menus are easy to navigate. Which lots of racing games get very wrong. Also no lootboxes, just money and levels. Phew. I know many don't want any story or fluff but personally I like the vibe and style of the DiRTs. And the announcers here are.... uninspired trash tbh.

Also I'm seeing a few minor graphical glitches and hitches plus some players are reporting crashes. Needs some work but Codemasters is good with supporting their games.

Hell yeah destiny 2 gameplay feels so good, once I started the campaign after checking a guide to understand which NPC I had to talk with it was hard to stop playing. The best thing is that if you ask me why it's so good I can't exactly point to what makes me enjoy it so much

Now D2 just needs a UI overhaul to be almost perfect

Yeah, I had some issues already with it, once the game simply didn't recognized any input from my controller nor from my kb / m, in another instance the menus were super laggy. GRID is also sucking my RAM dry, but I guess that's 8GB in 2019.

Regarding the menus I fully agree with you. The menus are right on the mark, simply to navigate, quick to start a race, couldn't ask much more. The leveling and money system is simply enough to understand too.

New revision coming up?
This would be insane, because I was just looking at the Steam Controller listing a couple hours ago and thinking about getting one. I'm VERY interested in getting a new revision, especially for Steam Link use.
