The game is potato friendly anyway, so I bet most people will be able to run it at 4K.

I mean, just look at the system requirement lol.
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core2 Duo E8400 or AMD Phenom II X2 550
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce 9800 GTX+ or Radeon HD 3870
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 750 MB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset

I think I finally found the impetus to plow through part of my backlog. There's like 40 games installed on my MacBook that need to be finished so I can upgrade to Catalina.

Just realized that I spent too much on games this past month. GreedFall, Code Vein, SRWV, and now Doraemon, all at launch price. I've used up all of my Steam Wallet so I can't get Pine right now, and there's still Disco Elysium next week. :blobclosecry:

Thankfully, The Outer Worlds will be free thanks to the Gamepass key giveaway, so I'll be set until the end of November with these games.

That store description is not a clear pitch (possible I'm just a moron though). The actual footage is neat and made the concept more clear to me:

The demo is worth checking out if you get a second. The fight system is kind of cool, but I could see it getting old after a while.

Pine seems really cool, but the faction system is a bit undercooked and the enemy variety is just sad.
Maybe later, definitely interesting though.

I played a bunch of Spyro 2, and damn it's just like the first one but better in pretty much every way.
Although you can just feel the late 90's platformer curse forming... it has a ton more variety and is still very good, but there's so many hints of the upcoming apocalypse of bloated platformers, vomiting items to collect, a million shitty friends (soon to be playable to make the games worse), tons and tons of backtracking...

I really fear replaying Spyro 3, because I did not go far in this one, it was not nearly as fun.
Same for Banjo Tooie that started the downfall of Rareware, and from that point every game played worse than its predecessor. How they managed to go from the godlike Banjo Kazooie to the awful DK64 to the trash heap that is Conker's Bad Fur Day's gameplay... I'll never understand.

Only 1 week left until Digimon :blob_asweaty:
Now, will we get a store page today or before release, or will Namco pull a Little Witch Academia and put up the store page after release? :thinking-blob:
very same day at 12:00pm (my local time) just like Doraemon.

Well, as I said on Twitter, the first wave of EGS timed exclusives are all sub-60 days apart. almost a complete year has already passed, it's crazy how fast time flies. Spreadsheet is slowly turning green (green means Steam/GOG releases)

the games are:

Looks like that Spec Ops: The Line achievement showed up in my Showcase as well, along with some other screwy ones. Used to be fine for me yesterday.

I see no reason to mention those games in the December thread :shrugblob:
Mainly because I am sure I mentioned them in the earliest January thread this past year.
Should any of them leave early access, yeah they'd get a mention.

Heyyyyyy ! I’m invited to the closed beta of a certain card game on ios. It has only been 84 years, guys, don’t rush it !
It’s over now anyways, the ccg fad has waned, but I can’t for the life of me understand how the vast majority of digital ccg don’t launch simultaneously on touch devices.
I’m sure it’s difficult, but they lose all their momentum with this super staggered rollout.
I... am not really interested anymore :anguished-face:

Publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Sky Machine Studios have announced Victorian-esque isometric stealth game Winter Ember. A release window and platforms were not announced.

Set in a Victorian-esque world, Winter Ember follows the story of Arthur Artorias, a faceless man in pursuit of answers and revenge. Returning after a near-decade of exile to the city of Anargal, where he was stripped of his family, fortune, and past, Artorias clashes with Greater Heaven, a tyrannical religious militant faction that has seized control of the town in his absence. To survive his homecoming, Artorias must rely on his wits and use the darkness to his advantage.

Infiltrate and explore vast Gothic sandboxes brimming with treasure and mysteries to uncover. Move quickly and quietly through the shadows while surveilling the environment, and peering around corners and through keyholes in search of lurking enemies and hidden passageways. In Winter Ember, there are multiple paths forward and solutions to every problem. Stalkers are rewarded for studying their surroundings and identifying less obvious modes of entry or egress.
Even when backed into a corner and seemingly forced to use a weapon, Artorias can evade combat by crafting one of more than 30 specialty arrows to escape the situation. Water missiles, for example, can douse flames and create dark new hiding spots in which to disappear.

Win 10 had a whale wallpaper today. North Atlantic right whales.
I'm concluding that there must be wrong whales

Wasn't there a site where you could search for steam covers in the new format ?

I am extremely interested in this project, but the well is poisoned and I can't trust that it will actually be delivered. I'll have to wait until the game releases, hopefully it still gets funded.
yeah, i'm pretty much in the same boat ... i'm gonna support them when they come to steam ... not earlier

And hopefully this is why Bandai will be sticking to Steam
hopefully
