982 items on my wishlist though it's more of a bookmark system i use for games that have caught my eye and i want to keep a note of rather than a list of games i must own. I go through it now and then and sometimes i remove a game or two but usually i'll leave them in there for posterity. I'm sure there's games in there that i have on GOG which i should remove but eh, effort.

How much stuff do you guys have on your wishlist? Mine is currently at 348.
217 and growing because fuck
I don't agree with this really.

Most large e-commerce sites now have temporary "flash" sales constantly, especially around the holidays. If I miss out, I miss out. As long as the "normal" sale price will still be there, all I missed out on is an even deeper cut.

That's a big

from me.
I get you, but I really wasn't a fan of having to either wait to buy something I wanted until the last few days just for the possibility of a flash sale or to buy it and get a flash sale right afterwards, making me feel like an idiot.

Pathologic 2: The Marble Nest DLC, a two-hour spin-off story in the world of the Pathologic 2, will be released on October 28, 2019 on Steam. Play for a single day as Dr. Daniil Dankovsky, a scientist from the Capital, a fighter of death, and another doctor trying to save the Town alongside the Haruspex, and uncover a different perspective on the events - and Death itself.

The Marble Nest is going to be free for everyone who owns the base game in their library before its release. For the rest is $9.99.

Next year will be costly. Gonna buy a new GPU (hopefully Nvidia releases their RTX 3000-series), a new monitor (looking at 1080p, freesync, 144hz) and PS5. Maybe also Valve Index if Valve releases it here.

The greek site I write for gave it a 91%. You can see the metacritic quote in english here:

Thanks

It's good, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's $20 USD good. You might want to look at some of the writing and see what you think of it I guess.
I was thinking more of sending it to the wishlist to wait for a discount lol.

Eeesh that "PC are going to holding back consoles" thread on ERA is headache inducing... ouch.

How much stuff do you guys have on your wishlist? Mine is currently at 348.
177 right now. I'm trying to be a bit more active in adding and removing them. See a interesting game from a forum post for a game? Add it with a note (Augmented Steam) pointing to the post. A game is like 70% off and I still don't feel like buying it? Remove.

Valve should really implement some new features like built-in notes and categories given how important wishlisting is to devs (and Epic :p ).

I have 55 on my wishlist and prune it every once in a while. probably when a steam sale is happening and I see that the game I want still didn't get below x%.
Meanwhile, devs are frothing on twitter that they are entitled to be on my wishlist.

234 on wishlist (I somwhow managed to add Robot Wars V which doesn't show and thus can't be deleted...) and the goal is to get it down to 150 during the coming sales, either by buying or deleting. Don't think I'll get there but gotta aim high low.

My wishlist like 58 or so.

However I mostly use it for released games that I want to get on sale and I prune it frequently.

Went to check my wishlist on the mobile app and for some reason the ranked order starts from 2 and not 1. Not sure if the top one is missing entirely or if the numbering is just broken. Suppose I'll check again when I'm home.

If the whole store is on your wishlist, then isn't the whole store your wishlist and it's useless to add something to it? Something to think about.

Joking aside I don't get it, with thousands of titles on there what's the practical use, it just becomes and unmanageable, messy clusterfuck.

When you purchase something on the wl that happens. Just drag a game around and it's fixed.

i don't add absolutely everything ... just games i'd maybe like to play someday ... and it's useful during sales ... especially combined with steamdb and their lists :)

By the way, when it comes to digital games, is Nintendo so far the only one that has had issue in the past? Both the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DSi systems had an online store were you could use Nintendo points to buy games (this was pre-2010) from those digital stores. This was sort of weird since other places would let you buy games just using a 1:1 conversation of money but for some reason Nintendo decided to use points instead (I'm guessing similar to how mobile games do it and this way you don't really realize how much money you are actually spending?)

So if you have a DSi it doesn't look like you can just downloaded those games anymore. Some of those DSiware titles are on the 3DS and you can still buy them there. The issue with that is that even if you bought them on the DSi you won't get them for free on the 3DS. The only way to get them for free is to transfer them over, so if you had a DSi and bought a lot of games for it, then lost the system and eventually got a 3DS, you would have to rebuy all of those DSi titles in order to play them on the 3DS.

I think the way the Wii works is somewhat similar.

When it comes to BC Nintendo is sort of weird, in the past they have done a great job with it (GB to GBA, GBA to DS, DS to 3DS) but if you purchased a virtual console games it seems like Nintendo just wants you to keep rebuying them. You can still download PSP games despite Sony taking down the PSP NA store.

Going forward you will likely need to rebuy all of your games on what ever Nintendo releases next.

There was a lot that went into it and yes the N/S doesn't have an optic drive (but in the past hasn't Nintendo made a lot of weird add-ons for their consoles?), but the Xbox One can play OG Xbox games and Xbox 360 games, it can not play all of them of course. I mean that is very impressive when you compare it to what ever Nintendo is doing (I still don't get the whole virtual console BS thing, you can play these games but you have to sign up to our subscription service, which is basically a con, since it doesn't really add much), technically even the PS4 has a method to play PS3 games and you can also play them on PC.

I have a N/S but I think mainly try to buy physical this way I can just sell the games later on. I could buy games digitally and play them on the go but In the future there may be an improved GPD win that is very small or something and well by then the N/S will no longer be around and very likely the eShop for it will also be taken down and you won't be able to redownload stuff anymore.

Or because big how everything is digital now, will Nintendo try to make things be more compatible now? Maybe they will and that's why VC is locked to their subscription this way if people still want to play their classic games they will still have to keep paying for Nintendo Online rather than paying $5 just once and not have to pay again for the next 14 years in order to keep playing Super Mario 3 or something (I never had a NES or SNES so I don't know all of it's library)

By the way why is Plantz vs Zombies delisted on a number of platforms? Doesn't EA own the IP?
Eh, as we all know from the likes of Jim Sterling Steam is full of shit games so it's less of a grail and more of a sewer.
With the amount of anime games that are on it, that are not on N/S, PS4, or Xbox One I wouldn't blame him.

After all anime is bad
lashman thought me that

I just finished Indivisible. It's deeply flawed in so many aspects (several glitches and bugs, mediocre narrative, some underdeveloped characters, some rushed sections) but overall is so unique and diverse (both in terms of how the characters look and how they play) and nice to look at that I really, really enjoyed my time with it.

It's also proof (if you needed one) that you should never let your backers design NPCs. The amount of anime stuff that makes no f sense in the particular setting the game takes place in is unreal. And very annoying. So really, developers, if you care about your game, don't let fans design characters.

My wishlist is at 442, which was more than my library until recently... I should probably clean it up though.

So hang on. You guys dont think that the next consoles will be doing 120fps at 4k?

Ye of little faith.
240fps at 8k thanks to the SSD with insane video power, CPU with 16 core of storage space and a GPU with 55 peraflops, emphasis on flops.

You can trust me because, as you can see, I know about this tech wizardry stuff thing magic

I'm putting my PC on ebay as we speak because I don't want it in the same room with my new console or it might hold it back due to bad karma and electromagnesium

You are underestimating things.

Once they start coding to the metal, developers will easily beat those specs.
