So Amazon is selling the echo dot for $10 USD along with the music unlimited service.... I ended up buying it...
Now you can also get a Google Home mini for $10 USD. I may just get this because of the low price and it comes with a month of Spotify premium.
I have no idea what I will be using these things for.
So I'm having issues figuring out what to do. I am going back to school since I just need to take 2 more classes for my AA. I could take one of those classes during the Winter (a 4 week class) but the issue is that I don't know when I might get another job and the holiday season is the most busy in retail.
I think I will take my computer science class in the Spring and the issue with that is that the class is in the morning, there is good and bad to that, good because that means more time to study since I will be on campus for a while instead of just going to class and then leaving right away.
The issue with that is that if I do end up getting the full time job (the staffing agency place) I doubt they would be okay with me taking 2 days off in order to go to school. If I'm still working at my current retail job the issue with that will be that I may actually end up working less? I would need Mondays and Wednesdays off for the class and work is usually from Monday to Friday so I would just work 3 days out of the week, the issue is that the days we work vary, so in the end I might just work 2 days out of the week and in a worse case scenario only 1 day of the week.
Before I dropped out I use to have two job, one of them was doing score keeping for an indoor hockey league. I don't live in the city were the college is at so I would have to drive 30 minutes to get there. The hockey place was about 5 min away from the school. So I would go to school and then after my last class I would leave to go to work and then go home.
During Fall 2017 I was going to school and doing the hockey thing and on days I didn't go to school I was delivering pizzas for my other job. I didn't manage that well and ended up failing some classes from what I recall.
If no major hidden expenses show up during the Spring I think I might manage somehow. And if I pass those classes than I guess I will be getting my AA before the Summer of next year!!!
I'm still not sure if I should take the online class during the 4 week winter period..... I might contact the instructor for that class and as him if his two online classes require the same online software (since a lot of classes now require for you to buy some $100-$200 USD license keys in order to use some website for homework and stuff. If it uses the same site and I don't need to fork over another $100USD then I will end up taking the class
Also one issue that I have with my current PC set up is that I have multiple speakers connected to it. I want to use the Logitech ones but they are too loud sometimes and I would like for a real easy way for my to switch the audio output device with the press of a keyboard bind type of thing. I could alt tab and switch that way but it's too much of a hassle and then to switch back after words
