Contains spoilers for the Kain series but if you don't mind, do give it a watch. This is one game that could really go with a fan made remake that just gives it a visual update with QOL gameplay improvements and lets you smack the voice acting and music on top.

Watch Dogs is just unpolished as hell. Other than the already talked about poor performance, the amount of graphical glitches you find is insane: NPCs walking under floor level, NPCs spawning in mid-air, weirdly cut shadows, an overall feeling of "hm, that looks funny" through the whole game so far. The "recruit anyone" mechanics it also started to show its limits like half an hour into the game, most characters just don't look right and feel like they've been made with the editor from The Sims, voice acting is weird, with different characters sharing the same voice actors, backstories are meaningless.

That said, I think it has some merits, the gameplay is good enough and when/if it gets patched I think it's a good game for people who like open world games just to roam around aimlessly doing quests for the pleasure of doing them. I surely would not recommend it to anyone who looks for some sort of meaning to their in-game actions.

EDIT: typos, typos everywhere.

Game Pass app got fucked up again the last few days. It only loads around half of the game in the ""Recently added" section and it takes a different amount of quitting and starting the app every day for all the games to load.

And the Xbox game bar in both game pass games and Steam MS games (like Halo MCC) has stopped showing cheevos for whatever reason. I like the Xbox game bar and find it at times more useful than the Steam overlay because it shows performance stats too, but cheevos list has stopped showing.

Teardown looks ace.
I actually just bought it. Didn't really know what it was about, so I went to igg-games to find out what it was about, 5 min later I uninstalled it and bought it. :p

That also made me realize that unless it's an EGSexclusive I really wanna play, I don't pirate games anymore. I usually pirated games before to at least try it out to see if it's worth being on my wishlist. But I have so many games I already own that I wanna play that I don't even have the time to pirate games to check if they art worth buying in the future.

If I didn't know there was a large divide between the people working on Windows's kernel and features and the ones working on the Store, I'd be running for the hills.

Lets take a look at adventure / exploration games this time in "Discoveries in Discovery Queue"!

Jung's Labyrinth

A game based on Carl G. Jung theories, about active imagination and individualism. You confront your ego and complete puzles.

Based on teachings of Carl G. Jung, this game explores the themes of so called Individuation process and active imagination - the game allows you to talk with your inner archetypes and leads you on the road to your true Self.

The game's progress is based on the classic hero journey, where you have to confront your Ego archetypes, notice your Shadow projections; integrate your Shadow; work with your Soul archetypes; integrate your Anima and Senex; and only then you will be allowed to progress to your Self.
Wind Peaks

Find the hidden objects in this beautiful crafted hidden object game.

Wind Peaks is a searching game, with distinct hand drawn cartoonish visuals, telling the story of a group of scouts that finds a map that guides them to a magical part of the forest.

In Wind Peaks the story is told through the hidden objects and by the level set pieces. To progress with it, find every object to revel a cutscene.

Chionophile

Move through an old forest during winter. Just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere of a cold winter walk.

Chionophile is a very short experience about the mood of winter in the woods. It is a slow paced pure walking simulator; you only walk, slowly, in the wilderness away from civilization. A beautiful poem from Archibald Lampman accompanies your short journey; and the original music score that is composed by Pınar Karabaş.

The game has 2 chapters. While the first one is a little linear, the second one (which is more expansive) takes place in a large open area. There are paths for the player to follow to reduce confusion about where to go. But you are free to roam away from the path and discover.

PS: The core aspect of this game is the atmosphere. It is recommended for those who mostly seek to experience the mood.
Penko Park

Move through an old park and discover the many different creatures that live there and take pictures and collect them.

Penko Park is a game about exploring an abandoned wildlife park.
Meet its mysterious inhabitants by taking photos and interacting with the world!
‎Snap magnificent shots and discover the creatures' most interesting poses.
Collect wildlife details & snapshots in your trusty park guidebook.
Uncover the park's history, secrets & many hidden paths.
Use your trusty Penko Grappling Hand to interact with the environment.
Enter the spooky realm by unlocking your camera's Ghost-o-Vision.

I dont usually buy early access games but it does look really good, how 'finished' is it?
from what i played so far - looks pretty finished to me .... plus people can make their own stuff, so i'm sure there's gonna be much more content coming soon (not sure how much there is so far, though ... i haven't finished the game or anything, but it looks like there's a lot already)

Would be nice to have a long ass RPG to play now that lockdown is in force for at least until December.
Didn't you post a picture of Divinity Original Sin 2 kickstarter backer tier price in which you said you hadn't started the game since then? If not, please excuse me and my mess of memory, aging has its consequences.

I second whole-heartedly Kingmaker as a suggestion. It's an absolutely amazing RPG, and while it isn't perfect with those absurd difficulty spikes, they are the exception and not the norm. Give it a shot, especially if you can get all the DLC on sale. It's one of the best cRPG I've played since PoE.

For me it's not the Xbox App, but the Windows Store that stopped working.
It doesn't open, doesn't update, nothing.

Most RPGs are long ass, there's gotta be something that you haven't played yet while already sitting in your library/whistlist, Monooboe
Problem is that all the games I really wanted to play I have already played. All I have are games I'm not really feeling so it would be that initial push to find the good in them to get into them.

But yes you are right, I too have a backlog!:D taking into consideration all the tips people have been giving.

I am progressing slowly in Fae Tactics, but am still enjoying the story. Just wish it had a 3x or 4x speed option since battles do feel like a drag.

Non that I heard of. Way things are though due to COVID affecting development, expect it by 2021 at the earliest.
Til then cross your fingers that IGN tosses Sekiro into Humble Choice.
I really appreciate the answer. Last time I ask, I promise. :)

You are in luck. Far cry blood dragon - has all standard ubi trash rpg elements.
What about how long - already playing at least half a year. Launch once every other month, complete 1 mission and with thoughts 'what a fucking chore' shut it down until another time. It can last you forever :steam_cleanseal:

Yes, there are many historical lowest prices on Halloween Sale. I haven't posted them but I guess it doesn't hurt to link some.
Some of these historical have lower price on third party stores tho so I'm not sure if you don't mind that.
And bear in mind some have been part of Humble Bundle Choices as well.

There are more, some indies Ive never heard about and some other well-known like RE 2.
If you want more, I can keep listing them.

Final Update of a Kickstarter that I backed contains this bit:

4. What happened with all the AirBNB drama?

On May 19, 2014 my brother and I booked a condo through AirBNB for 30 nights (May 25 - Jun 25, 2014), which was paid in full (AirBNB Itinerary Confirmation Code: 2TRTHE; Billing receipt #2038880805). Accomodations total was $1867, and to clarify again the landlord was paid in full for that.
Nearing the end of our stay, we decided to extend it - and booked another 2 weeks (Jun 25 - Jul 8, 2014).
This time the $813 rent payment was missed (the credit card was declined). We played stupid and pretended the payment went through to get some time to find a new place and leave.
Little did we know, that just a few days later, we had a full crew of TV reporters outside of our front door.
They have played the story on national TV and we even made it on prime time "60 minutes" TV show. It was aptly named, Neighbors from Hell.
At this point, we had no chance of overstaying, as our landlord lady have pulled a checkmate on us.
Broke and humiliated, we have packed our things and snuck away at night.

:hushed-face:
I must say that I was not aware that this did happen.
And no, they did not finish the game (no hard feelings, this happens).
