I decided to take my old 3DS and install custom firmware on it. I then got a ROM of TWEWY and so far I'm finding it to be really enjoyable. Too bad Square decided to drop NEO on Steam without any sort of advertising and right before P5R.

Just got kicked out of my Hitman 3 game on the Deck due to disconnection from the servers. Personally, I've been lucky enough to never having had that issue before.

Really sucks. I was so close to finishing Colorado.

Really enjoying Metro Exodus. I'm a complete sucker for post apocalyptic settings. The idea of exploring the ruins of our civilization and seeing the way survivors have adapted to this new reality where society as we know it ceased to exist is so fascinating to me.

I have such fond memories of playing Fallout 3 for the first time. I got completely lost in that world.

I don't buy into this "Uncharted 4 would have done better on Steam with a 1-3 Collection first" idea. The stories are pretty self contained. I only played (with gaps of multiple years inbetween each) Uncharted 2 on PS3, 4 and Lost Legacy on PS4. I did not feel I missed out on much, maybe I would have enjoyed some banter here and there more? At least Nathan Drake's shitty character does not change at all...
I love Uncharted, and 4/Lost Legacy are both great games. But a huge reason these games are as good as they are is the characters. These are VERY story/character driven, and you cant expect people to jump into a game like that at the 4th entry. No matter how much Sony and ND try to spin the “you can start with 4!!!” angle.

Neither 4 nor Lost Legacy are good introduction to its protagonists. You really gotta play Uncharted 2 at LEAST. They really should have ported 1-3, and hopefully Sony doesnt see this as a lack of interest in the franchise on PC when its pretty obvious where things went wrong.

Honestly its not that surprising. Over the past 15 years there hasn't been much praise from PC community when it comes to the Uncharted games. There has been very little port begging as well compared to other Sony franchises. I know its anecdotal from my part but based on all the forums and steam community that I've read/been a part of its kind of accurate. I'm sure at one point more PC gamers wanted The Order 1886 while very few wanted or ever thought ND games would be ported over.

At the same time it does hurt not porting over the first 3 games. I think a good comparison is the Metal Gear solid V. Steam got V before it got 1-4 (and still hasn't) and MGSV did almost 100k concurrent. The difference is it launched on Steam while Uncharted 4 is 6+ years late. Also despite both being heavy on character development and story telling...Kojima did a better job spacing out his universe across decades with all the timelines/twists and the marketing blitz for V was massive back in 2015.

If Uncharted 1-3 were on Steam it would have definitely helped but how much? Maybe 2x the concurrent peak which would have still been kinda disappointing so wtvr.

We can use other comparisons. Imagine if Shadow or Rise of the Tomb Raider was the only TR game on Steam when it launched. Would it have been as successful and sold as much? Probably not as millions experienced the previous Lara games and it does help boost new game launch #s. I mean even Shadow still launched poorly on Steam with review bombs and other issues. Its possible this genre is just fading away and not many PC gamers these days care for it.

I guess in the end PC gamers just don't give a shit about Nathan Drake. The 50$ is a good deal as you are getting 2 AAA Action/Adventure games even if old. Still good that they are now available on PC and maybe long term it will sell better with sales. And hopefully this doesn't deter Sony in anyway going forward because there is still many old + new games that need to release on PC.

I made the horrible mistake of playing Ultrakill while it's still in early access.

I was going to wait for the full launch, but the Youtube algorithm kept recommending videos about it until I caved. After 30 hours, I've gotten perfect-grades on every level. It's one of the best games I've ever played and now I just desperately want more content for it

I cannot recommend this highly enough to FPS fans. Every weapon feels fantastic, every enemy sticks out compared to the rest, every level has something cool to distinguish itself from the rest. Also, the secrets are brilliant. You've got your standard boomer-shooter style secret areas, but you also get genre-shifting secret missions and ultra-hard bonus challenges if you seek them out. 10/10, will inevitably be my GOTY whenever it hits 1.0.

Please enjoy a few clips of my sloppy, garbage gameplay.

Vampire Survivors surely is addicting.

I played a bit more of it today and I had some amazing runs, I've beaten the Ender and I even managed to defeat Death after getting some powerful items.

Now I need to discover how to beat that bone ball. It doesn't seem hard as an enemy but the stage it's on is brutal.

Judging from the thread, I really am the only one who bought TWEWY and not P5R.
I bought both, one from Humble and the other from GMG. Great discounts from authorized shops so why not, it's a packed month.

Congrats on beating Death. Something I still haven’t managed to do yet.

Im curious how many people who calls ND games mediore or bad haven't actually played them.
I don't need to play them to proclaim they are mediocre for me. Even watching them, I got bored of the spongy enemies.
As people don't need to play Aurora 4X, Dwarf Fortress, and X3:AP and proclaim they are mediocre without playing them.

Good gameplay isn't measured by how many million people play a game. It is measured by how likely you are to play it for hundreds of hours.

It's a difference between saying a game looks mediocre and saying it is mediocre.

NFL games looks boring to me, but I have not played them, so Im won't say they are boring to me.

I didn't even see the original tweet but if I had to guess which one it was judging from the reactions it was someone saying "Opensea has been hacked, your NFTs are in danger, use this link to save them" and then linked to an obvious phishing scamsite (the url used a common tactict of swapping an "l" with an "i"). Yes don't click the link above

You know what the Steam mobile app needs? OCR gift card/game code scanning.

Just came home with 3 Steam gift cards. I was able to scan the text on my iPad camera app and paste it into the app, but it’d be cool if Valve could automate that so I could just hold a Steam gift card or game code in front of my phone and have the content redeemed.

Yeah the blog itself is the hack!
Sorry about that. Didn't think about the scam-possibilities.

You know, NFTs are like onions, there are so many layers of scams that you can get lost in them.

As much as I can only wholeheartedly agree, didn't your process take you at least as much time than entering the codes manually ?

No, it was much quicker. Typing those codes in on a touchscreen keyboard is not a good experience!
