Episode 3, finally

Wasn't the most recent Batman so badly ported that they had to issue mass refunds? Timed exclusivity means it might be playable by the time it launches on Steam.... Though IIRC, WB just gave up on patching it last time after 6 months, so maybe not.
It was before refunds were a thing on steam iirc. and the port was so bad they had to take it from sale for 6 months
and employ entrirely new studio to redo the port

I really want to try the long dark, but survival games tend to scare me off

Wasn't it High Voltage on the original port and WB Montreal after the mess?

I didn't really expect WB to jump on the EGS train after MK11 launched on Steam but then again you should never count WB's greed out.

Not that it matters much because WB PC ports are a fucking joke and there was a minus zero chance I'd ever get one at launch anyways.
High Voltege was MKX , BAK was Iron Galaxy

Delaying the PC version to make it better is all fine and dandy for me.

What's the best and/or fastest way to add your own vertical shelf art to non-steam games in the new Steam beta?

Also, shelf art for Cemu games is welcome as well 😊

Stone Ocean just FYI , you can edit the quote just to keep the part you are replying to , no need to quote whole thing

BTW: Outbuddies got a release date

oday I want to present you our new mode for the game - Domination!
In this mode, 30 new missions will be available to you.

Missions are arranged in increasing order of difficulty. 10th, 20th and 30th - missions with bosses. For killing bosses, your Citadel will improve, as in the campaign.

I have to get my hands on the Mega CD version of Eye of the Beholder.

I never knew I wanted to play a classic dungeon crawler, with dance music as the soundtrack. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

For those who may have missed it, I am not a Monster, the previously multiplayer-only "X-Com-like" game was updated last week, and now features a single-player campaign:

oh great to see this actually release, i thought it got cancelled with the failed kickstarted
Trailer:

And another v1.0 aunch for September

CODE VEIN Pre-load

Hopefully Wingamestore will be sending out keys soon. I was able to save about $30USD on the Deluxe edition of the he game, which is nice. Hopefully the game is decent.

It nice that they are listening to community feedback and adding certain features.

I never finished playing RDR2 on my PS4 and I was trying to get back into it about 2 weeks ago or so but never got back into it in the end. My PS4 is still in "rest mode" and it's been like that for the last 2 weeks, eating up 10 watts or something like that (the PS5 will not have this issue I'm told)

Someone make a mod that lets you move around the map faster. Are there mods like that already in GTA V? Since GTA V doesn't have fast travel from what I recall

Mmh, the hype for Code Vein is getting to me. seems like there is coop and character customization. But I can’t play three Souls at the same time. I don’t want to be the first human to die of high blood pressure while playing video games :fearful-face:

Yeah, the damn hype got me on Code Vein too and now I have to pick between it and NNK Remastered :suicide-blob:

The customization itself seems top notch,

So since in playing DQIV and liking it, I thought about looking up the price of DQV on the DS since I already have DQIV,DQVI,DQVII,DQVIII,DQIX, and DQXI. And well the price of DQV is now around $69USD!!!! I think it was under $30USD about a year and a half ago (so before DQXI came out) I should have gotten the game back then but I think I will try to buy it in the coming months before the price increases again.

I have not ordered the N/S DQI-III collection yet but I plan to. Even though I know that I can not play it, I still plan to pick up a PC version of DQX just for the heck of it and this way I can have DQI-XI in physical format.

Also Wingamestore just sent me my Code Vein code, time to pre-load the game (and Friday is when my speakers are coming in so I will be able to test them out with that game)

lashman, please put me as having completed this month's goal.

I played, and completed, a totally hardcore game:

I can't believe I spent 16 hours playing, and 100%, a clicker/time management game, based on... The Love Boat. o_O

But. I would be lying if I said I didn't have some fun. The game managed to successfully adapt the format of an episode of the series, into this genre of game. The story could have been lifted from an episode of the series. Not that the series was complex in any way, but at least the writers of the game clearly put some effort into it, which I wasn't expecting.

It's a decent, and surprisingly long, "mindless" game.
There's a sequel to it, and next time it's on sale, I'll be sure to pick it up.

Colour me surprised. :giggle:

---

I have hundreds of "time management", and "hidden object" games in my library (mostly from bundles), but I never actually played through any of them.

Since I was in the mood for something simple, I decided to try a game from each genre, to see what's the appeal, since a lot of people play them.
The Love Boat was my first time management game. Now, I'll be giving a hidden object game a try.

It's nice to try different things occasionally. :)

Paper is patient.

It's approximately 120% anime and checks a ton of trope boxes in the "regular high schooler suddenly gets involved in the secret supernatural side of the world". :02eat:

It feels really high budget and cinematic. Lip and eye movement and other animations, lots of different "camera angles" instead of just "person in front of background facing towards you".

The port is meh though. No mouse and the resolution setting is busted. It tells you 1080p but it starts at something completely different so you have to manually change it to something else and back to actually get 1080p. And it doesn't save that setting so you can do that dance every time you start the game. Yay.

I hated my time with Xblade and it's sequel. I think I forced myself through them on Vita for the platinum trophies and nothing more lol.

Blazblue lore is such shit. :face-with-cold-sweat:

Also PQube still have not released Gun Gun Pixes, it's Adult only for some reason and

And yeah, the "Adult Only" Steam tag is weird. It's a PEGI 16 game ffs. But I mean, Valve has proven time and again to have a certain bias against anime aesthetic and certain perceptions.

So new Batman announcement tomorrow? Also possibility of RDR2 pc soon.

We about to find out just how deep Timmy Tencents wallet is.

Go big or go home Sweeney.

Also irrc GTAV pc announcement happened a couple months b4 release. So it they do this on Steam we will probably see the release around winter sale. Gonna be a huge seller for R* unless they fuck up the port.

actually the PC announcement I think happened not that long after the PS4 and Xbox One announcements but they also delayed the PC version as well a few times I think

GTA V Xbox 360 released on 9/17/13 (Did Rockstar do something for the six year anniversary for the game?)

E3 2014 video

GTA V PS4 11/18/14

GTA V PC 4/14/15

So the PC version was released almost a year after it was announced?

I'm not sure what the issue is here, unless I am mistaken Valve does not seem to have an issue if the game is on other places. In this case the game is also on N/S and well if Nintendo of all people is okay with it than what issue would Valve have with it. That is why you see the western PS4 version censored but not the PC version because PS Japan already approved of the version that will release on PC. There are some games that Valve does "ban" that are not lewed and stuff like that but as far as I have heard those games are not on consoles, they may letter get ported to consoles but that's about it.

I feel tempted to play it but then again I did play the first EA one and I did not like how it felt. The original game got released on Steam less than a year ago and that was a very fun game, I say it was fun but then there was a patch for the game that basically made it more of a mess. Oh Star Wars Battlefront

There was that one VN about learning some sign language or something like that and in that case GOG approved of the game but Valve did not, shortly after that Valve approved of the game. So as long as some other major store is selling the game then it would seem like Valve has no issue with the game. I do find it funny how in some games they have to say the characters are over 18 years old but Marvelous I think is the only one that doesn't do that??

At least that is the pattern that I have noticed.
also since I beat Star Wars Republic Commandos earlier this year I understand the weapons that they are using

Weirdly enough, there is no H-content in The Expression Amrilato, the game you mentioned.

There is some nudity, but nothing egregious. Meanwhile hentai puzzle games proliferate with less restrictions, which is a fucked-up situation, if you ask me. :02police:

The singlepalyer DLC for the original RDR release on October 26th so if they do a re-release essentially of it for RDR2 to tie it back in with PC players they would need to release RDR2 they have between now and Halloween.

Red_Dead_Redemption_Undead_Nightmare_Cover.jpg

Since that released on October 26th 2010
But that's just a guess (Not that they release Singleplayer DLC, WOO MICROTRANSACTIONS)

I played this on Vita and quite enjoyed it (Even got the Platinum). The sequel I was excited for, but it's nothing like the first game.
I wasn't able to make it very far as it's a weird puzzle dungeon crawler thing and not a VN. Was a case of feeling like they did more work than they needed to, since I missed the animated VN style.

I think some of that fulls under the whole asset flips stuff of where Valve doesn't really do much with it since people will ignore all of those, there have also been complaints of people about those game since they do use stolen art. So those games basically get filtered out and other than the fact that they exist (some people make a big deal about them, for me since they don't really show up in my regular feed I don't really care much about their existence).

I guess if Valve really wanted to they could go and look up all the Hentai Puzzle games and just ban all of those but that may just be a bit too much work. I would imagine that Valve also looks at the "quality" of the artwork, a VN with good artwork is more likely to get noticed compared to one with really bad art? And some of the VNs that have gotten banned tend to have high quality art.

So the Rockstar Game Launcher makes use of the Steam Client API?

lemme know when fucking Tomba gets on Steam aight?:plsblob:
Walt. What ? Tomba ? When ? Has something been announced for consoles? Or did you just randomly namedrop it?

In any case... +1 respect for mentioning the game.

Kinda sad to see Ni No Kuni Remastered's performance on Steam. Only 787 concurrent users peak at launch, which is probably one of the lowest for a JRPG, especially at this caliber. It's always been regarded as one of the best JRPGs from last gen.

I'm pretty sure it's not only a problem on Steam because you could barely see any discussion for the console versions as well. There are too many blunders from BamCo regarding the game's marketing and publicity, from store page creation, to pre-order and window, release date and pricing. They're one of the most veteran Japanese publishers around, and it's just weird how they still don't get it.
