JUMANJI: The Curse Returns

A game for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind… roll the dice, read the riddles and experience the board game from the original 1995 film in a contemporary digital style. The Jumanji game will summon a magical jungle and take over the town — unless you stop it!

Face the dangers with your friends and family and prepare for a fun, casual co-op adventure like no other. In every round, you’ll be matching the correct items from your stash with those needed to send the perils back into the board. Time restrictions mean you’ll have to work together to be victorious. You’ll face crocodiles, elephants, rhinos and more, plus creeping jungle vines that will try to ensnare you all. And if the game releases Van Pelt, the hunter pop up at random moments and try to disable your team! It’s up to you and your friends to stop Jumanji from invading the town! Stand together, make it to the center of the board… and win the game.

Can you hear the drums?

Cookie Clicker

Cookie Clicker is a game about making an absurd amount of cookies. To help you in this endeavor, you will recruit a wide variety of helpful cookie makers, like friendly Grandmas, Farms, Factories, and otherworldly Portals.

Cookie Clicker was originally released in 2013, but has been very actively developed since then. If you played it before, try it again to see all the new features!

Lake

It's September 1, 1986. You take on the role of forty-something Meredith Weiss, who returns from the big city to her quiet hometown. She exchanges her busy career at a software company to fill in for her dad, the local mail carrier.

During her two-week stay in beautiful Providence Oaks, Oregon, she runs into a few familiar faces as well as plenty of new folk. As Meredith, you get to decide who to talk to, who to befriend and perhaps even start a romantic relationship with.

Whatever happens, at the end of her stint she'll have to make up her mind: return to her demanding job in the big city, or stay in the town she grew up in?

El Shaddai ASCENSION OF THE METATRON

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, originally released in 2011, is a unique third-person action adventure filled with a deeply artistic world-building, outstanding aesthetics and thrilling battles. Experience an incredible mix of 2D-like platformer action and a colorful 3D world in an exceptional setting.
An ever-changing endless visual experience

El Shaddai's artistic setting aims to provide a canvas-like world that changes in an organic way as long as you progress your adventure. The world keeps changing constantly in the most creative and innovative ways, perhaps even nostalgic.

You'll only have four buttons: jump, attack, guard and weapon stealing. But this simple way of proceeding is deeper than one can expect. There is no need of manuals or walkthroughs to get into the game, but if anyone is ready to deepen into the mechanics, the game will offer a profound, precise and rewarding timing-based action experience. The motto of El Shaddai's gameplay always was to be "easy but profound". Many of the game's mechanics such as the offense-defense systems were carefully created to provide the best possible game feel.

The game received the "Future Game of the Show" award in the Tokyo Game Show 2010 and the script, noting some of the characters lines, got a gold mention on the Internet Buzzword Awards 2010 as well. The original aesthetics, the uniqueness of its concept and the feeling of being ahead its time (2011) were widely discussed on the international media.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.

Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.

Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.

Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.

Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!

A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.

You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.

Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous path toward becoming a living Legend.

BRAVELY DEFAULT II

Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, nature's masters,
The Crystals' power exceeds the hand of man,
And if unleashed, would bring down death, disaster,
Calamity and blight upon the land.
―― Ancient quatrain of Kingdom Musa

Guided by fate, it’s up to you to stop the forces that threaten these heroes and all of Excillant.

A new entry in the “Bravely” series
A new world, a new story, and all-new Heroes of Light
"Four new Heroes of Light emerge"

American Truck Simulator - Wyoming

Wyoming may be one of the least populated states in the U.S, but that doesn't mean that it lacks spectacular places to visit and see. Home to some of the country's most breathtaking national parks, Wyoming is best known for its red-walled gorges, hot springs, historic prairie towns, pioneer history, and historical attractions.

Wyoming designated the American bison as the official state mammal in 1985, and to this day you can still find large herds of them grazing across the prairies and protected land which is designated for the conservation of wild bison since their decline across the U.S.

This upcoming map expansion is still in development and more screenshots and info will be added here as we'll reveal more of our recreation of Wyoming. Keep an eye on Steam announcements and other SCS Software's communication channels to be up to date with everything new revealed for this DLC.

DEATHLOOP

DEATHLOOP is a next-gen first person shooter from Arkane Lyon, the award-winning studio behind Dishonored. In DEATHLOOP, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle - try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities. Do whatever it takes to break the loop.

Every new loop is an opportunity to change things up. Use the knowledge you gain from each attempt to change up your playstyle, stealthily sneaking through levels or barreling into the fight, guns-blazing. In each loop you’ll discover new secrets, gather intel on your targets as well as the island of Blackreef, and expand your arsenal. Armed with a host of otherworldly abilities and savage weaponry, you’ll utilize every tool at your command to execute takedowns that are as striking as they are devastating. Customize your loadout wisely to survive this deadly game of hunter vs hunted.

Are you the hero or the villain? You’ll experience DEATHLOOP’s main story as Colt, hunting down targets across the island of Blackreef to break the loop and earn your freedom. All the while, you’ll be hunted by your rival Julianna, who can be controlled by another player. So if you’re feeling devious, you, too, can step into Julianna’s stylish sneakers and invade another player’s campaign to kill Colt. The multiplayer experience is completely optional, and players can choose to have Julianna controlled by AI within their campaign.

Arkane is renowned for magnificently artistic worlds with multiple pathways and emergent gameplay. DEATHLOOP will present a stunning, retro-future, 60s-inspired environment, that feels like a character within itself. While Blackreef may be a stylish wonderland, for Colt it is his prison, a world ruled by decadence where death has no meaning, and delinquents party forever while keeping him captive.

Amazing thread for an amazing month lashman .

I'm getting more excited for that Marvel game the more I see of it. Hopefully they don't go P2W and make card packs and sell them.

Humble got me again with Choice. Off to a great September already.
Assumed I had it paused because I couldn't imagine not having done that minute one of the reveal.

At least we've got a fresh new thread. Thanks, lash.

I think El Shaddai is all I'll be getting. Death Loop looks good but I kinda overspent last month...

For El Shadai they wanted to do a pre-sale thing but it seems that Steam doesn't let first time devs do that (which is likely for good reason seeing how it helps with visibility sales happen when the game launches.)

If the pricing and launch sale indeed turn out to be lower than what they initially said, I think they should've really posted an announcement already to get as much eyes on that as possible ahead of launch, because many people wrote it off based on pricing from what I've seen. If the port isn't completely broken, it's a solid deal with the new price and discount, especially the complete edition.

Oh shit, I forgot that LiS: True Colors was coming out this month! Aahhhhhhh! I've already pre-ordered it. I also have Pathfinder to play(I backed it on Kickstarter).

Gamedec and Lake are also on my wishlist, but I won't get to them for a while I suspect.

September! The month of my birthday, my wife's birthday, my son's birthday and my marriage's birthday.
You ain't buying nothing this month with those events chomping at your wallet! lol
Congrats though and at least it gets it out of the way in one month and that's easier to remember than spread throughout the year!

Thanks for the thread lashman !

Looking forward to Pathfinder and hoping it's not too buggy. Taking inspiration from the turn based mod of the first one to make it toggleable on the fly is perfect. I don't really enjoy RtwP for some reason but I also hate the drag of easy enemies in TBS when you are overleveled/geared so the toggle option is perfect. I know certain people (cough Durante) would chide me and say RtwP already offers that flexibility but it's not the same to me!

I would be very happy if this is real. Interested to find out why people love this series so much.
I played it for the first time last year (yet to play Golden Abyss and 4 despite owning both and GA not being ND but Blend instead)

The games are fun but the story was "boring", what I mean to say is that the cinematic were really cool, but once you play all 3 games back to back they just all blend together sort of thing. Like was that in uncharted 3? What that was in Uncharted 1 really?

They are fun to play but I just wasn't a huge fan of the characters themselves or the story. And yeah I now Indiana Jones or something like and even those movie sort of felt the same (temple of Doom and Uncharted 2 taking place In India at least make them stand out some more.

If given the chance should you play them? I'd say yes

How is it September already? Time surely flies when you have a lot of work to do.

I think I'll buy Eastward this month and that's it as there are some games I bought recently and I haven't finished them.

There is a new Momodora game being made! It's called Momodora Moolit Farewell.

That would be a good 5 game collection. Easily worth 60$ too if the ports aren't shit.

Having both Uncharted collection and Halo MCC on Steam 👍👍

#TeamFake Always be suspicious of off-screen pics but also because I don't want it to be true. At least, not yet. I don't think I'll feel like revisiting the Uncharted for a few years. When I played the fourth one on PSNow, I enjoyed it but I felt like it overstayed its welcome a bit. I want them to come eventually but they're not really at the top of my list. I'd rather get Bloodborne or Ghost of Tsushima first.

i played only the first game when i had a ps3 it's fun, it's like tomb raider franchise. but aiming in this game was a real torture.
I heard the first game aged badly and the second game is where the real fun begins. Anyway, going to play them all on steam!

I guess this is a common thing to these blockbusters games or movies. I wouldn't be able to distinguish all those the car chases in Fast and Furious movies. Spacing them out during half a year would be a good way to avoid burnt-out.

If Sony does do it it has to be just like that. All 5 games bundled together.

If they separate them I don't think PC gamers will give a shit and it will sell poorly. You can't do 4 and not the PS3 games. or vice versa.

It would make for a good PS5 collection too so I can see it happening. I still haven't played Lost Legacy and been meaning to pick it up on PS4 for a while now. Picking this up for like 30$ on Steam down the line would make for a good purchase.

Looking forward to Arise and Gamedec even though I should really get around to playing Disco Elysium first.

Might pick up Uncharted when it's on sale since the train scene in 2 was really memorable for me and I haven't played Lost Legacy yet.

Uncharted 1 has aged like milk and the other ones IMO are not worth replaying at $60 given that there are superior TPS now.
