Probably just Return to Monkey Island for me, from the games releasing this month. That new Spiders games is of course also very interesting, but I still gotta catch up with Greedfall.

Thank you for the new thread, Mor!

Wow! There is more coming out this month than I realized. Return to Monkey Island is already paid for, but Moonbreaker, Kena, Dreamlight Valley and Wayward Strand are all interesting to me in various ways. I don't expect to buy them all, but...

I also got sucked back into FFXIV(there are too many things to do!), which derailed my re-play of Deadfire.

Happy September everyone!

August was a surprisingly good month for me. Spider-Man was great, I finished Xenoblade Chronicles DE, and overall it was a pretty chill month as far as IRL stuff goes.

As for September, I can't remember any game I'm hyped about to be honest, other than MWII's beta tests and maybe Kena, so as long as it's a rainy month down here I'll be happy.

Lovely thread by the way, as always!

Crazy seems like the Steam Deck is in the newest copy of Famitsu.

So if you're in Japan and pick up a physical copy of the Famitsu magazine you will see an article about it (16 pages it seems)

I might import a copy along with last week's issue featuring Soul Hackers 2

PS from my understanding there is information that is only available in Famitsu magazine that is not available on their website (since the magazine is a paid thing).

So this could actually be more of an insight not only into Steam Deck but also the PC market in Japan.

So it's definitely worth checking out but I doubt that there will be an online source that translates more of the interesting information.

That new thread, new month smell! :heartblob::heartblob::heartblob:

Here's to this month being better than the last couple. Mystery health issues (MRI this Friday finally, thank goodness), house issues (trying to purchase house and deal fell through), car issues (car died and repaired several times by mechanic, problem still persists), etc. It's been... rough.

In terms of gaming, I'm going to finish up Little Nightmares with the DLCs, perhaps play Immortality via PC Game Pass (and Moonlight streaming to the Deck), and continue on with Disco Elysium as I've gotten distracted with other games, I will also assuredly buy several bundles, several indie games, and many free games that fall forever into my backlog! Stray still beckons to me, as does Spooderman (but no thanks at that price).

Happy September! Thank you for the new thread Mor!!!

Feels like there is going to be wave after wave of games over the next few months :dizzy-face: Square Enix alone are dropping a staggering number. I think I am going to challenge myself to actually start beating some games as I have been getting into a pattern of playing a smidge of a new game and then going back to "unbeatable" games.

September already! Time moves so fast... its finally game release season again. Thanks for the thread Mor!

For this month's releases, definitely in for the new Monkey Island and Dreamlight Valley. Perhaps Made In Abyss too, if the reviews are solid.

I also heartily recommend people to pick up RPG Time if the concept speaks to you at all - that game is legit.

Oh man Tinykin has a demo and it reminds me of the OG pikmin game.

Tinykin is amazing! I played it last night on XSX (no choice, my GPU hasnt returned from RMA) and its remarkably fun. I came for the unique visual style, but stayed for the gameplay - 3 hours went by like it was nothing. :flushed-face: The game is just moreish, Pikmin esque light puzzle solving with collectathon platformer gameplay is a winning combo!
