Smart kid, we all suck :suicide-blob:
I love this whether it becomes a real thing or not, smart shortcomings over cost (it "only" cares how far each finger opens or closes, not possible rotations, side movement, etc. - much like the actual pricy af Index)! Granted the comparison isn't fully fair, Index offers all the actual controller perks on top and thus also requires a different form factor, yet with freaking strings they got the actual advanced tech equivalent Index offers over other VR controllers with its touch/force/proximity/whatever surface sensors! With strings!

GTFO looks almost like a game made for VR now (I don't know how much of the jank is inherent to the main game which is still in early access). I don't really get all of what they're doing as I've not played it and they seem like experts. I guess it's like a much more complex & tactical UT2004 Alien Swarm. Either way, wow!

Already discussed but for posterity. Currently a Quest 2 exclusive, let's hope for more platforms later.

~7 hours until the Oculus Gaming Showcase drops the good stuff (hopefully more than just exclusives, even if the actual video will obviously pimp it all for Q2)...

They should at least be showing Lone Echo 2 again finally, I wonder if that remains PC or got downgraded for it to be able to be ported to the Quest 2 as well...

Live. I'm sure almost all will be shown as Quest versions but most 3rd party stuff should be PC too...

A nice show all around though I expected much more if they bothered to do this rather than just casually announce stuff every so often. RE4VR looks so rad.

Force Combat's developer is maybe experimenting with VR, hmm. Also, Wraith released on Ostore.

Wow, out of nowhere! This is an awesome indie VR RPG with simple yet fun melee/ranged combat and gesture based spells that games focused on one aspect would envy, as well as puzzles and bosses and everything needed for a cool adventure, and now it's completable with the new chapter added!
I don't see a new video to go with it but you can check out the older stuff to see how careful/cool with the design and additions over time its developer was.

This was one of my favorites in the genre quite early on and I only stopped playing because each update was so cool I wanted to get the complete effect. Also an example of how the media only pimp Oculus/Sony/clickbait stuff, one big VR site hasn't written about this since Chapter 2 was added in 2019, another never.

Despite having a quest, i'll probably pick up Vader Immortal on PSVR.

Seems like Oculus stuff doesn't go on sale much, or if it does the discounts aren't as good as PSN.
Saints and Sinners is the same way. Regret not grabbing the physical when it was around $20

I already snark replied to the tweets. Onward is one of my favorites, I always pointed to it for best-VR-FPS controls practices, update debacle or not :(

I feel like they'll probably just push it out of EA as it already is and leave it at that before going all in on a new Quest 2 only FPS/sequel/whatever they want.

Oh well, Contractors VR has sorta started caring about solo/coop shenanigans on top of the PVP lately, maybe they'll do the tac campaign I'm still longing for...
