Hm...
It seems that the games with Denuvo that where ported to Linux by Feral Interactive do not have Denuvo on Linux.
Maybe I can make an exception to my "I don't buy games with Denuvo" rule in those cases :thinking-face:

that's because there is no denuvo on linux :P they didn't really have much choice, lol

but yeah, go for it!

Ah thanks for the information. I read somewhere that it was ported to Linux, but that was just a random internet comment.
And now thinking about it... Irdeto would probably write about it on the Denuvo website.

In surprise move, cracked version of Jedi Fallen Order is no longer working. (unless you change time)
My guess is the group missing some clever time based trigger. I have to admin, clever play from Denuvo if this was intended.

makes me hopefull for Prey and Youngblood one day , these are still stuck with denuvo (most likely eternal aswell)

well, maybe not Youngblood ... that one's "new" enough ...

but yeah, if they haven't removed it from Prey by now, they probably never will

Isn't the DLC on different engine too? Base is Cryengine and Mooncrash is Unreal Engine 4 or something like that.

Just want to add to the sentiment, seeing them branch out to anti cheat is worrying, I don't want to support such a shite company but now I have, I own Doom.

Update: We have applied a rollback to the update that was causing the "Protection Error" message on Epic and Steam. We are now working on the re-submission for the Hotfix. -Deep Silver

how can you manage to remove DRM in such a way that game starts throwing "Protection error" ???
this is almost Squeenix level patching

I need to retest Metro Exodus performance, as I was often CPU bottlenecked in the newest expansion.
Not that I expect shocking, new findings tbh. Just my curiosity.
 
As the demos allrdy indicated all the Quantic Dream games (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroid: Become Human) are Denuvo free on steam!
