I'd VShojo are the most well known Twitch VTubers and their youtube content is basically a VOD archive. Miko has regular Twitch streams, Pekora has been streaming there too and now has over 100k followers. Aqua does watchalongs on Twitch.

Tsunderia and Phase Connect have Twitch based VTubers and people like Tenma who are mainly youtube will run Twitch streams now and then too.

Non from PRISM has taken to using Twitch for some of her content and it's handy because youtube is back to being a total asshole at the moment and randomly demonetising people, some having issues even starting streams and other having thei view counts slashed. Sussy baka, youtube.

My housemate has ended up watching some channels where the girls have moved from face-cams to using an avatar instead. So even he has ended up inadvertently watching Virtual streamers which amuses me greatly.

Unfortunately, Pina from PRISM may have contracted Covid over the holidays. We are all still waiting for the delayed test results and hoping it's just a seasonal cold but either way she will be taking a streaming hiatus while she recovers. I hope she's okay. She's one of my favorite VTubers and online personalities ever and one of the ones i'm really glad to have discovered. Rest well, Pina! We'll be waiting for her return.

I'm kinda like researching the Twitch streamers, and in general they all seem a bit more adult/mature oriented? (Not sure how else to put it). Which i guess has me wondering if like maybe Youtube has strict guidelines or something? Like i know Melody couldn't work on Youtube lol for uhm, obvious reasons... but like Veibae isn't doing porn streams but still marks all hers as 18+...

Yeah Twitch is less restricted with that sort of things, like Youtube in theory can demonetize you over swear words (I think they might have loosen the rules, but in general one of the positive things I heard about Twitch is "you can swear as much as you want"), I don't know where the line is on Twitch since I don't watch them much, and I'm not really into that kind of humor (I don't mind them, just I didn't like whenever it happens you get some weird comments coming out of the woodwork I'd like to not read).

AZKi just said she is discussing with Hololive music division regarding future activities when she moves to Hololive in April.
I hope she continues to concentrate on music but also streams a bit more. I think she'll appear in more collabs and hopefully she can continue to collab with artists outside Hololive such as I've Sound etc I also hope she is allowed to continue to arrange events like "Non-Stop Music" and i can't see why not.

I hope she can get more exposure being seen as part of Hololive officially. Anyone who follows AZKi knows she often goes silent for long periods and then returns with a new EP or album so i hope new viewers can understand that's just how she is. Let's see where this journey takes us!

I watched a lot of Sumi, she was very chill, except when she wasn't and we were having adventures and laughs.
We're going to miss her. I was actually able to watch her because of her stream times as they were fairly EU friendly and i could watch them while working.

We spotted the "G......n" in faded letters in the thumbnail and wondered if it was graduation but in her Genshin stream she said it would be a "fun announcement" so we kind of put that out of our thoughts and then when i saw all the PRISM Agents in pre-chat i realised there's a good chance she was leaving.

Yeah, i'll have to rewatch it to see if i can remember what she said but effectively it was "Thanks for 5k subscribers... i'm graduating on the 20th,", it seems like she has to go back home and won't be able to stream but it also seems like she has something good going on that she seemed cheerful about so i don't know. Oh well, It was great fun and i'll try to catch her streams from now until the 20th.

You may need to bump your volume up a bit as Rita tends to stream a little quietly for me on speakers.

I hope this is an indicator of PRISM Project getting more attention. I know Shiki has collabs with Finana with one recently so they are getting out there and seeing Mista in Rita's chat, that's a super good thing for exposure.
There's a group of agencies that get along well like PRISM, Phase Connect & Tsunderia together with indies like Reiny & Obake PAM so it's good there's a feeling of a circle of friends helping each other along. Hopefully a bit of a bump from bigger talents can help them out.

excited for Kroniimono, i think i can catch it live.

i been knocked out cold for 2 days now. mostly stuck in bed. I thought my virus was peaking a few days ago... but no lol. Now though, now i'm starting to heal up i think. Well my head hurts a little less and my nose calmed down anyway. So... progress!!

uhm i was mostly delirious while in bed, but i continued my research of the Twitch tubers as best i could. Never had a twitch account before so had to make one. I learned that since I'm already Amazon prime member i also get Twitch prime at no additional cost so that is cool. I forget which night it was but I watched Snuffy play modded Skyrim, but like it also had some sorta twitch integration. We could vote to spawn enemies, or a pack of 30 NPC's lol, drop 100 cheese wheels on her head, or randomly teleport her somewhere. ... It was funny and chaotic as hell.

So actually my first time trying a Twitchtuber was really good. There is a certain level of interaction you kinda don't get on Youtube either. Since as you watch a Twitch Stream you get like, uhm points I guess and you can use those points to play sounds, highlight messages, give snacks or throw stuff at Snuffy lol. (And her model reacts to all of this; as seen here.)

Honestly the Twitch girls have grown on me A LOT. Here is my sublist and how it has grown in less than a week's time.

And as a platform, I haven't found it too overbearing on second inspection here. Most of them enable slowmode for chat and have moderators also. Communities in general have been nice and easy to follow things. Compared to say Hololive where I don't even bother to read chat because it moves so fast no human could possibly parse it in any meaningful manner. So idk, it's been very fun.

One thing I noted also is like... Twitch streams are less... structured? More freedom, less rules, and less walking on eggshells. It's refreshing in a different kinda way. Such is the benefit of being independent or in VShojo's case putting the streamer first I suppose.

I think hololive's chat just moves too fast in general, Pikamee's is fine for games on twitch but she doesn't seem to have nightbot enabled, so the emoji spams and all the yelling can get bad, her YT chat is a lot better but that can be improved.

Twitch doesn't require them to make thumbnails either so they can just stream unprepared and just do whatever, with the downside that VODs don't last long like they do on youtube. Some only archive the story related game streams and the rest gets deleted.

All in all it's still a personal preference and they make their money on twitch, a lot of streamers wish they could do as well as them there, so while several people did voice concerns, I'm not sure if it's too appropriate, of every 1 or 2 people that don't like twitch, there are probably 5 who likes it and willing to spend there instead. Asking them to not stream (as much) on 1 platform might just be asking them to make a decision that affect them financially.

Yeah with how little I watch other vtubers I think it's an easy choice for me, I don't mind double dip and subscribe to Twitch, just a little weird since I'm now watching the same streamer but split across 2 platforms, and with Twitch being tied to Amazon and without the Youtube/google play payment options and regional pricing, it's a bit of a hassle, it's no problem for me if I have to switch between the two, but just hoping if she gets into the partnership stuff it won't affect her youtube streaming, but at the end it really depends on which platform she likes more.

I heard twitch has some really extensive moderation tools/commands, among other things, with slow mode and modbots I'm sure chat will be much more manageable, not to mention much better discovery system for exposure, whether it's for her or other vtubers she decide to raid.

Kson is terrible at this now becuase she has subscribers only content now for Youtube, Twitch and Mildom too. Thats why I stopped subbing and I miss out on a ton of her streams because I never know where she's streaming next.
