Well, as you might know, this country has some pretty fucked-up Orwellian law and an out-of-touch censorship board. As inaccurate and laughable their conclusion was about some of the series mentioned, the scary part is that this is a senator which hold some power and what this cunt is trying to achieve is to ban all anime and manga from Australia (he's already calling for reviews of ALL anime movies lmao). Not sure if it'll gain traction or not, but he can go and get stuffed as far as I'm concerned.

. It's really one of the best, if not the best anime of this season. So good
Eizouken is one of those rare anime where 23 minutes per episode feels way too short.
I'm just passed the half-way point of SAO S2. When GGO ended is when I dropped it last time though. Hopefully this time I can pull myself through and get to GGO Alternative, the movies, and Alicization afterwards.

Watched the first ep a while ago and really liked it.
Right now I'm only up to date with Bofuri (Cute Girls and one guy Doing Game Breaking Things), Infinite Dendrogram (I like the source but the adaption is fairly mediocre) and Darwin's Game (I like the source here as well and the adaption is really good. It's a very well done "Survival Death Game" type story)
ID:Invaded is on my watchlist as well. Only heard very good things about it.

I'm doing the same for the F/SN Heaven's Feel movies, but at least the wait for these is almost over. Third and final movie is out already, so blu-rays should be ready by end of Summer or around Autumn.

I'm still mainly watching Tokusatsu currently.
Watched 20 eps of Shinkenger so far and it's a lot of fun.

I like Eizouken and it rated it as a 10 for a while, but the last few episodes have been a slog to get through. It feels like I've seen everything the show has to offer. It's a one trick pony. Asakusa and Mizusaki let their imagination run wild and get too ambitious. Kanamori scolds them. There's some physical comedy. They manage to get the job done. Repeat. There's a lot about the show to love (such as the animation and their imagination) so that's why I've stuck with it up to this point, but these last two episodes have been rough to watch. I've been constantly pausing the show to distract myself with something more entertaining before getting back to it in chunks. And,lately I've been feeling like I really just want to get through it quickly so I can get to the latest Dorohedoro episode.

Yeah, no doubt about that. What a disgrace for GITS, from the APEX of 90's animation to a sad little thing now. I don't understand how the netflix thing is even allowed by the IP holders/Shirow. The CGI is so bad, there are console games with better real-time graphics. It's so uncanny.
I don't wanna believe it's real. I love GITS to death, even ARISE, but the netflix shit is just too much even for me.
I think he partnered with some Rikudo fellow to write a new manga, "Pandora in Crimson Shell" or something like that? I'm not sure if that is still going or what though.

Finished GGO Alternative. What a ride~ It was great!
Really sad there is no more GGO material though. I don't dislike the fantasy stuff that SAO normally sticks to, but GGO is just so much more unique in terms of "isekai" settings. Heck, in terms of anime/game settings period. It has such interesting lore too, like how all of GGO takes place on a planet ravaged by far-future space wars (all the high-tech stuff is scraps from derelict space battleships and such.)
Ah man. Anyway, solid 8/10 for me. \o/

Yea i'm really excited to see what this thing will do.
The most obvious suggestion would be another End of Evangelion, but simultaniously, repeating that would be the lamsest thing possible and almost everything else would be better.
That said, Rebuild has thus far been a bit more shallow compared to the original Eva in terms of themes (Not to say it doesn't have any), so regardless i'm not even sure one can expect something unconventional, maybe it's going to be a more "normal" ending.
But not knowing is part of the fun!
I personally hope the final rebuild movie nods to loop theory fans based on the Eva manga's ending. The manga by Eva Artist Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, and whose final volumes were constructed with the help of Studio Khara themselves.
