Man, Ghost Game has just been on fire lately.
Like, I know nothing permanently bad is really gonna happen at the end of the day (well, with some exceptions), but all of these messed up situations really have me at the edge of my seat regardless, and boy have things steadily gotten more and more messed up.

I rather like Anime Ltd's releases. As long as Embracer doesn't mess with how they operate in terms of quality, I guess I can live with it, albeit reluctantly.

I don't know how they can get away with all of this in a kid's show lmao.
It's like "So, as long as we don't show blood and gore everything is fine? Gotcha, let's have basically torture and make sure it looks and sounds painful, but no blood and gore!"

Even Japanese are saying this episode is way too much

Also the latest Gundam episode is... eh. My interest towards the show is falling with every episode. I feel that the build-up towards the inevitable racial conflict is progressing too slow.

If anything, I'd actually prefer Suletta to have a fulfilling school life and enjoy making friends, instead of suffering the fate of a Gundam pilot.

I watched Chainsaw Man first couple of eps. I like it, I'll watch it but, maybe I fell for the hype and seeing all the references in the intro I expected something deeper out of it and yet it's just, Idk, it's not that special to me, very standard cliche story and characters, but I won't say more so as to not spoil it. Anyway.

Looks cool. 3D makes sense for once. Such Moonwalker, much wow. But the end did miff me, the whole belief points stuff, is it just me or... social credit system..?

Haven't started watching the anime yet, so I dunno how far they are already, but fwiw I've found the beginning of the manga fairly mediocre as well. Even dropped it a couple chapters in and only picked it back up once it started picking up buzz. It does indeed get really awesome at a point and never misses after that. Stuff goes places.

Ghost Game 49

Fun halloween episode. More tense then horrific, but hey. I loved the callback to last year's halloween episode (damn, has it been a year already :O).
Really curious how many episodes this is gonna have, because it's clearly not stopping in the fifties.
Adventure 2020 had 67 episodes, but I could honestly see them going for something even longer (Gegege no Kitaro, Toei's last children horror anime had 97 episodes). Who knows ¯\(ツ)

I am enjoying Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita lately. A isekai with no isekai element so far. It's an adventure story starring our sword protag and its beast girl master. The show feels like an old-schooled JRPG where the master gets stronger both physically and mentally but not overpowered. Kakuma Ai also did a great job voicing her. Really good show and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Watched the first 4 episodes of Chainsaw Man.
Incredibly good animation and it's a very good adaption, but since we're still at the part where I didn't much care for the manga either, the anime doesn't do that much for me either yet. At this point it comes across as some generic juvenile edgelord flick. Though it's fun enough just watching it for the sakuga.

Watched the first 6 episodes of Mob Psycho S3. Still absolutely killer, love it.

Also just watched the first episode of Build Divers Re:RISE, since I was in the mood for some Gundam, but don't wanna watch the new one yet.
Really didn't like the original Divers, which I dropped halfway through, but I remember Cacher had only good things to say about this one, so here I am.
Already really liked the first episode. Cool mechs and the cast is already infinitely more interesting than the ones in Divers, even though they haven't really interacted much yet.

Nice! ReRise S1 is good, whereas S2 is just phenomenal. All the build-up in S1 is rather slow but going to become very satisfying. Keep going! :blobevening:

Well. If anything it's definitely very bingeable!
Already done with Season 1, lol.

It has a pretty slow start and is honestly pretty basic, but it gets carried hard by cool mechs, cool action and a super hype soundtrack. Then the climax happens and holy shit.
Thank god I don't have to wait a couple months until S2 and can just jump straight in.

I know, right? When that twist revealed, my jaw completely dropped to the ground. Good stuff.

Random thing - Would anyone happen to know what song is playing during the Recap+Title Card at the start of episodes in the first season of Shakugan no Shana? Whatever track it is has eluded me but I have such a desire to hear it without narration over it. Can't find it in any documentation of the soundtrack online.

Is it just one of those "lost tracks" at the end of the day?

Hmm, what I do know is that there's an ongoing German dub of the anime that's still going through it's initial airing (Finished with the second season, dub of one of the OVAs just dropped in September) - I wonder if I might be able to ask anyone involved with that...

Knocked out the prologue for "Witch from Mercury" the other night. Immediately caught my interest so I'll stick with it.

I'm kinda feeling in the mood for a Aldnoah.Zero season 1 type thing... What's urobutcher up to these days anyway...?

Oh, man. Shakugan no Shana. I haven't heard that name in so long but I grew up with that shit lol. Man... Good memories. If you mean the song with like the choir, that never appeared on ANY of the OST/CD's. Not even the assorted ones. As you say, it might be lost... Or maybe there was a rights issue with it, and it just wasn't allowed to be reproduced outside the show.

The First Slam Dunk movie adapts Shohoku’s match against Sannoh High, as well as the Pierce one-shot. You can view the trailer for it here:
ooh so that's what the film is about, all I see were short clips showing Shohoku lol.
