New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Octopath Traveler. Got all 8 travelers yesterday so I started going into optional dungeons. I remember reading some criticisms about the game in the past, and I started to understand most of them. The game insists on its identity - it is about 8 travelers dealing with their own problems. The party travels together but they never interfere one another. It generates a curious dissonance that doesn't exist in most other JRPGs because most of them utilise the power of collective, or synergy between the characters, to tell their stories.

Nevertheless, it's doing its own thing, and I repect it. I also start to see that this is going to be a long ride. I will likely play something else this week so that I can balance out the relatively slow pacing.

I mostly played Sherlock Holmes Chapter One for the past week and just now finished it.

I find it's better overall vs Devil's Daughter. Their move to UE4 didn't help with the games feeling a bit too rickety, and this one being open world/city, well, we all know that streaming assets hasn't been unreal engine's strength for a while if ever.
On the plus side I spawned under the geometry only once and didn't have any crashes, so progress?!
From the case and writing side, I kind of dislike their move to being much more ambiguous with almost all of their conclusions. This was already an issue with Devil's Daughter a bit, but with Chapter One it feels like they took it a step further. I don't remember what they called it in Crimes and Punishments, but I guess calling it "moral choice" in Devil's Daughter was clear enough, they don't want you think about it as finding the truth at all.

Not sure what to play next. :thinking-blob:
I could just keep going and play more Sherlock, but maybe I need a palette cleanser. :toucan:

I've been on a Metal Gear roll. Ended up playing MGS, then MGS2 and actually went back and played MG1 and 2. I had played MGS3 Delta earlier when it came out last year.
I NEED the Collection Vol. 2 to be here already. I can't wait two freaking months.

Started Dungeons of Hinterberg. I was not expecting a cozy dungeon crawler of all things. Unfortunately I think I got mild motion sickness 2 hours in before I put the game down for dinner. Hopefully fiddling around in the settings will help.

I'm mostly done with Forza Horizon 6 but I'll keep doing the seasonal stuff and tackling some challenges I still haven't got 3 stars, currently I'm downloading Final Fantasy VII Remake and I also played briefly Frogmonster
