Post about the game that has you hooked right now in here!

I'm completely in love with Dragon Quest XI, wish I could skip work and just play that all day. If there was comfort food in video game form, this would be it. They perfectly captured what makes Dragon Quest so great in this one. The enemy animations are made with so much love, I could just stare at them all day.

Last weekend I started The Darkness 2 for the first time. I loved the first game, which I played a few years ago, but it took me way too long to begin the sequel. Good thing I did! I'm enjoying it a lot. It's much more linear than the first game, and I miss the semi open city, but it's still really fun. I love being able to grab and launch stuff using the Darkness' tentacles, and the weapons feel good. Also, Jackie Estacado is more pissed than ever, and angry Jackie is best Jackie (although the romantic part at the beginning of D1 was fantastic too).

Hopefully I'll finish it by Thursday, because that day I'm starting the first episode of Life Is Strange 2 no matter what (already asked for the day off at work).

The Iciest Hole
Siege as the MP drug and Evil Within 2 as the SP one. I've been really enjoying Evil Within 2 and I'm honestly surprised that I like it this much, I expected it to be a hokey spöök be skäerd game like the first one but this for some reason works out a lot better for me than most horror games. I think it's mainly 'cause it doesn't rely on jump scares which are the cheapest kind of scares.

Trying to put substantial dents into all 3 before AssCreed Oddassy next week (and now Forza horizon 4 thanks to game pass)

:( that is a shame... you know it's coming but when...
the sooner the better ... but knowing rockstar they'll probably wait for next-gen consoles ... and then delay the PC version another 6 months as a special "fuck you" to all the PC players (just like they did with GTAV)

lashman brau I couldnt play it, shit stuttert like fuck after a update... the new definitive edition now finally runs fine so I can play it
ahhh, well that explains that :) play it then!!! :D

Slowly working my way through Dragon Quest XI, which is amazing. As I've said lots before, its delightfully old school in ways that makes me happy but still has modern sensibilities and conveniences included. Need to buckle down and get it finished.

I finished Assassins Creed Origins yesterday. Have to admit that the ending felt a little bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the game but nontheless I enjoyed it a lot.

Now I'm switching between Monster Hunter World and Pillars of Eternity. Maybe I'll replay Unavowed to see how the other characters change the story/puzzles. Btw, great point and click game. Puzzles are fairly easy, it's more story/dialogue driven than anything else, but the story (and the way they tell the story) really clicked with me!

Don't feel bad, I'm not done with Origins either and I still plan on picking up Ody over RDR2.

oh, don't get me wrong - of course i pre-ordered AssOdd (yes, i know it's with one "d" but this is what i'm sticking with for this game! #dealwithit) a long, long time ago (you're welcome, AxeVince :p ) ... but it'll probably be a while before i even start playing it :(

Nothing wrong with that. I'm picking it up Day 1, but I probably won't be playing it for awhile myself. I *need* to finish Origins before I start it up, even if it means I miss some of weekly content stuff they're doing.

yeah, i can never get into that cyclical stuff ... no matter how much i tell myself i would at least try - i just end up missing everything :p so i'm not really worried about that ... but yeah, i want to finish AssOranges first ... at least the main story (+ DLC stuff, i guess)

I think I had *JUST* gotten the Hidden Blade in Origins, I don't remember. I know I was only a handful of hours in, so I'll probably just restart when I get back to it.

The thing with oranges is that if you stick to the main story you could beat it within 30 hours or so, but the moment you start doing secondary quests, or god forbid, just explore the world... well, I still have tons of stuff to do and I finished at over 90 hours.

I routinely play 90+ hour games. I might get to Ody this year. Maybe. If not, at least I bought it! Keep bringing me Single Player games please Ubi!
