Yea can confirm, Got the notification last night.
I frankly find it disgusting that so many indie titles struggle to gain visibility, and will never feature on the front page, while a game from a developer who treated the users of the store as second-rate customers, has received not once, but twice front page promotion of some sort, in the space of a month.New Hades update, midweek deal, front page love. That 30% has its benefits.
Supergiant are far more known than your average indie dev, but even then steam DOES highlight them when that indie dev's games are on sale or a particular game is on sale.I frankly find it disgusting that so many indie titles struggle to gain visibility, and will never feature on the front page, while a game and a developer who treated the users of the store as second-rate customers, has received not once, but twice front page promotion of some sort, in the space of a month.
It really pays off to pull shitty practices.
It looks like a new Everquest is in development.San Diego-based Darkpaw Games will focus on Daybreak's flagship property, EverQuest. Led by Holly Longdale, the studio will continue to support EverQuest games while developing the "next innovation for the franchise."
I STILL BELIEVE!We're never getting a port of Brandish: The Dark Revenant, are we?
We're never getting a port of Brandish: The Dark Revenant, are we?
To be fair, this was as improbable a dream as Durante fixing the pc port of Ys VIII.I STILL BELIEVE!
I really don't get it.Supergiant are far more known than your average indie dev, but even then steam DOES highlight them when that indie dev's games are on sale or a particular game is on sale.
I know this because I check the steam store every Tues and Fri.
I’m sure it’ll do very wellLooks like Temtem is going to do well in terms of sales... There is a queue of 14,000+ people(and rising) waiting to get in!
It wasn't, Skybound confirmed such on an interview where they said "in the future" with no more details.I actually thought it was a full exclusive.
20% off for Humble subscribers.I’m sure it’ll do very well
Also, greenman sending out emails with 18% off voucher which works on Temtem
I picked this up in the winter sale with the $5 coupon and the little I have played so far was pretty fun!We really just gonna talk about Falcom in 2008 and ignore this huh (I know only 10 people played it but still)
The ignore function is primarily for searches that YOU make, and does not apply to store-wide events or what data it accumulated from friends or steam users in general.I really don't get it.
I have Hades as an ignored game. When it launched on Steam, I had a big banner promoting the game on my front page for days.
I have Annapurna Interactive as an ignored publisher. Their titles are supposed to be excluded. Yet, I just opened my front page, and the first game that appears on the "Featured & Recommended" section is... Sayonara Wild Hearts.
I only played on Normal, so I can't speak for the higher difficulties, but I didn't find him as complicated as the internet would have me believe. I had WAY more trouble with the bat boss, and some others I can't recall right now. That bat boss was the real deal, he should have been the final boss of the entire franchise. Plus, I felt incredibly smart after I realized the trick to the fight (equipping silver gear).
I beat Dark Fact in Nightmare and it's some crazy shit. The interesting thing is that the boss looks like completely random bullshit at first glance, but is actually anything but random. After practicing some on Nightmare I went back to Normal and could beat him consistently without breaking a sweat.
Opposing Force and Blue Shift are included even though they're not shown in that post, search for them in the store or whatever and they have the Play Game button available. I dunno how the setup of these oldies is handled, if you still need to install Blue Shift for the fancied up models etc. in HL and Op Force too.Valve said:Half-Life: Alyx is coming in March, and we are celebrating early by making all games in the Half-Life Series FREE to play for Steam users, from now until the day it launches!
Yeah, DS3 somehow gets a weird rep. I can sort of understand people getting fed up with the Souls world but the game is a super solid send off.Wait, Dark Souls 2 made the list but not DS3? That's intersting...
Oh Valve what have you done.
Some of the filters stopped working for me a couple weeks ago so i stopped using it and just went back to reshade everything without even trying freestyle first.Does anybody else here use Nvidia Freestyle (or Gamefilter as it's called in the overlay) from time to time?
It used to work for me, used it in Gears 5, but I can't get it to work in Metro Exodus or Resident Evil 2, despite those games support Freestyle according to Nvidia. Is this a recent driver update that botched it? Was just super nice having those Reshade filter without even needing to install Reshade, and for Gamepass games, that's literally the only way to get that functionality.
Not to mention asset recycling from Bloodborne and an engine that struggles to load zones without stuttering. Where DS1 had the charm of a world well though-out, DS3 has... nothing, in my opinion. Even the tedious combat somehow gets worse with animations that use double-timings on attack windups. In my opinion, From was milking the cow there.DS3 felt like "hey remember Dark Souls?" and didn't really have many unique ideas. Hell, it even copies shit almost directly from Demon's Souls, with Irythyll Dungeon basically being "Tower of Latria, but worse"
Braveshitpostopinion: From hasn't made a good game ever since they stopped making Armored Core games.DS3 felt like "hey remember Dark Souls?" and didn't really have many unique ideas. What's this in relation to?
I am not looking forward to midnight.
A PC port for a game(s), where the embargo lifts at midnight PST.What's this in relation to?
There's some truth here. The nostalgia strings were targeted quite heavily. Thankfully, apart from a couple of overboard examples, it stayed classy, however.DS3 felt like "hey remember Dark Souls?" and didn't really have many unique ideas. Hell, it even copies shit almost directly from Demon's Souls, with Irythyll Dungeon basically being "Tower of Latria, but worse"
Yeah I can take a guess about what this is about. Should make for some...interesting reads....when I wake up tomorrow.A PC port for a game(s), where the embargo lifts at midnight PST.
No clue what this is about, honeslty. Don't see anything on Steams upcoming that would match.A PC port for a game(s), where the embargo lifts at midnight PST.
No, it's steam. Again, embargo lifts in 10 hours. No clue what this is about, honeslty. Don't see anything on Steams upcoming that would match.
Is it an EGS title?
