I don't think there is from a technical viewpoint, maybe memory issues due to new models and textures and some gfx glitches but they could tweak the port to work on the fixed gfx hardware of consoles reliably.
From a business side I assume Black Mesa has a license but whether that covers other platforms i don't know. Also there would be middleware licensing costs but i'm sure Valve could sort that out if the idea got that far.
The main issue to my mind would be that it's an indie team that has spent years making it and they're likely to want to move on.
Technically - probably not, Legally and Economically - that'll be the kicker. Also, do the team have the energy for it?
I'd say maybe but i wouldn't go putting any bets down or holding my breath.
I doubt Valve gives much of a fuck. They are not in the "exclusives" business, nor do they regard consoles as actual competition.
If the people doing the mods are fine doing all the hard work in porting the source engine over to consoles, and get cert and everything, then sure, there'd be a chance.
I don't see any exclusivity issues. Prior Half-Life game appeared on consoles after all.
If anything, it's probably up to Crowbar Collectives interest to port it.

DQB2 is still sort of fun, but I think I am spending way to much time on it and I want to go back to my main island and build some cool stuff.
Oh and I guess that Bandai decided to sell the DLC bonus stuff for the kakarot game? They decided to do the same for Code Vein but only for the console versions correct?

I go on a lot of different sites online and one of them is a Japanese gaming site in Japan.
They had a thing not that long ago where they asked their readers what they thought was the more interesting/surprising news of the last decade.
The two big ones being the death of Iwata and Kojima going independent.

I finally found the time to watch it. I think it was the best "devs react to speedruns" yet. Both because of the skips/glitches and the devs' personalities.
On a totally unrelated topic: I started playing REmake 2 and... That goddamn' Tyrant. I can't handle all that stress. Lickers ? Yeah, who cares... they're glorified jack in the box. But Mr. 300kg weighin', combat boots wearin', punch throwin' anemic douchebag... nuh huh.

CSGO actually has a battle royal mode called Danger Zone but it's only 18 players and I think Source 1 is pretty limiting with what they can do.
If the VNN report on how far along L4D3 was (basically early access ready, and supported both VR and standard gameplay) I could see them picking it up and finishing it. It makes a lot of sense. Right now I'm sure there's a huge focus on shipping Alyx and there's probably very few, if anyone working on any other VR games right now at Valve.

Pre-production with a little team is for sure something that it's there, writers, artists, etc... already have something in the works, there's no need to keep them doing nothing while big part of Alyx team is, right now, programmers, 3D modelers and testers.
Still a long wait until new announcement but I'm absolutely sure the new game is already being more than discussed.

I would do many things for a new NieR project.
Nier Twitter retweeted the latest Babylon's Fall stuff, and they don't retweet non-Nier/Drakengard stuff...
I didn't follow it that closely, but isn't there some bad blood between Platinum and SquareEnix ?
There is some crossover there, however. NieR:Automata and Babylon's Fall are both Square Enix published titles developed by Platinum. Maybe they thought there was some crossover there.
Not sure that's of particular importance. But I'd still kill to get a new NieR game made by PlatinumGames regardless. Automata is one of my all-time favourite games!
Square Enix and Yoko Taro are basicallly credited with saving Platinum Games. I think Kamiya has said as much. NieR:Automata was lucrative for both parties, and Square Enix are now publishing Babylon's Fall, another Platinum Games title.
That sounds like a good working relationship to me.
Kamiya and Yoko Taro also come to FFXIV anniversary and have BBQ together. Their relationship is good don't worry.

Got an email yesterday and an email this morning from Steam that "a query made by a Steam user to discover all account names associated with a CD key linked to your account". I hope I am not getting hacked or something.
Don't worry it's basically just someone was checking if a key has been redeemed or not.
Got spammed with that exact email when I got Catherine's key from SEGA's puzzle.

Question, Mortal Kombat 11 is banned in my country (Indonesia). Is it still possible to redeem the cd key via VPN because I've heard there's some changes to the way Steam handles VPN activation now.
