So yeah, looks like TW101 is one of four games. Bayo, anyone? JaseC
A glance at PG's projects that didn't come to PC yet leaves not that many options.

MadWorld
Infinite Space
Anarchy Reigns
Bayonetta 2
Astral Chain

AC would be a megaton for sure.

I'm a bit out of the loop, in terms of recent Platinum Games news.
I keep reading there's supposed to be 4 games, or announcements.

Is there any additional info on this, outside of a website saying "4"?

I ask because I keep hoping for a PC port/remaster of their game Infinite Space, which would be an awesome fit on PC.
If they consider crowdfunding a port, I would be in. (y)

Page formatting sure suggest the other three announcements to be of similar caliber.
It makes almost too much sense!

When are these EA games hitting Steam? I imagine Apex won't be until next season now?

Will be nice having these on Steam:
  • Mass Effect 3
  • Crysis 3
  • Battlefied 3/4/1/V
  • Titanfall!
  • Need for Speed series
Mercenaries 2 really is a hidden gem. A bit unbalanced but I enjoyed it at least, if not more than Just Cause 2 on PS3.

I’m willing to bet, whatever the price be, that Unity is not worth your time on this earth.
I said it.

Unity is very good looking game and very ambitious but kind of boring around the edges. Not really worth your time unless you like your standard fare AssCreed. The story doesn't do much by the end irrc.

But hey if you got it for 17 cents it won't hurt to install it and mess around in that world for a couple hours. That Paris Ubisoft made is ridiculous and one of those rare open world gems of this past gen. One of the most alive cities you will ever play. It was like walking around a shopping mall lol.

Assassin's Creed Unity in Malaysia is $75,400 lol.

Nice price error there.
No Taro. No Taroverse.

I also will not accept "Babylon's Fall" as a Taroverse entry without his involvement. It can go in the same bin as DoD2 AKA: "Interesting, but irrelevant."
Is SINoALICE a Taroverse?

Is SINoALICE a Taroverse?
At the very least, he retains a creative director position on it. So yes... probably. The problem is I haven't played SINoALICE because all my mobile time is funneled into FGO lul. So I cannot say if the story ties into Taroverse, if it does however, given Taro's oversight I would say that yes it qualifies.

The problem I have with DoD2, Babylon's Fall, etc. is that if Taro isn't involved how can it really be a part of the Taroverse?

Edit:

SINoALICE is slightly younger than the Nier universe. It has only one Branch and it is overseen by Anki and Gishin, being in the shape of dolls that according to Accord created this universe, known as the Library. The Library is the closest thing to an Afterlife in the Taroverse in which characters who have died go to. Assuming characters like Briar Rose, Cinderella, Snow White, etc. come from their own separate universes than SINoALICE proves the existence of a further 11 universes. The selection of those allowed into the Library seems to be very small as only 19 individuals are known to exist within it, not counting non-sentient shades. This universe exists as a constant within all other universes and branches.

---

Yoko Taro personally considers SINoALICE to be an original IP that is separate from both Drakengard and Nier, mainly because he doesn't understand social games. He is aware that his name is being used as a marketing gimmick to draw in Drakengard and Nier fans. Square-Enix approached him to conceive a social game before but only got serious about the proposal due to Automata's commercial success.

The majority of SINoALICE's scenarios are written by fans of his works in PokeLabo. Yoko's own contributions are a rough story outline, occasional creative requests, and the authoring of a single character story (often Alice's) to serve as a base for the other writers. He would rather that fans give credit to where it is due and not to him directly.

In the scope of the social game's Yoko collaborations, Yoko authored the event scenario and the weapon stories for Drakengard 3. Within the ending of that scenario, the results of Accord's observations are inconclusive as to whether the Library is anything like an afterlife. She only states that the Intoners "had somehow revived" within the unexplained phenomenon. It is also not confirmed if that Accord could escape the Library to return to the others or not. Yoko wrote the Nier Automata event scenario (which edges toward a dream for 2B) and loosely okayed the idea for Nier Replicant (a dream for Emil). During an interview, he commented at how aghast he was with the latter's gloominess.
... And nevermind. Taro himself deems it separate.

Ubisoft prices are so high, Steam highlights them red anyways, so out won't help detect errors.

I used to love the Tiger Woods games. Bought the latest Rory one on XBoNE, it just doesn't feel the same.

As I said multiple times, as long as Titanfall 2 comes to Steam it will be worthy, why? cause' that game deserves a second chance on PC and if bringing it to the biggest platform help, that would absolutely amazing. VINDICATED!

I've put over 10 hours in Disco Elysium and I'm really digging it. I feel that at this rate I will never solve the crime, the guy is still hanging, while I keep exploring

I did. What don't you like about it?

It's definitely very simple, as far as actually doing stuff in the game. Gameplay is kind of there for filler. It's more fun as a 2 player game, but even then ... I liked the style, though I often like games that are far more style than substance, just for the ride. I liked the story and the huge amount of heart the developers crammed into the game. It's very inspired. But there were some levels where I was like "yeah lets just get this over with" because the actual combat isn't terrific.
I'm playing solo so maybe it is that. The area design was kind of bad, the „puzzles“ were uninspired and the writing is... ugh. It’s the kind of weird for weird sakes that I don’t really like and isn't what I would call „inspired by Earthbound“. Add to that that they seem to want to hit some really basic tragic notes. I checked the kickstarter page and I'm still missing two characters so maybe it gets better later on. Will stick with it for now.

I can definitely feel the heart they put in and that’s why it kinda pains to mainly just say bad things about the game.

They don't.

Also, fuck anyone asking for a Remake, game is perfect as is :h02pout:
It does have some issues (I wish that lock on was a thing)

Also I really need to share an image of my Nier gear. I have the game on PC, I have a Xbox 360 copy of Nier G, I have some Bring Arts figures, I also have the Nier A OST (plus the hack tracks) and the vinyl Nier collection OST.

Also this was his I first learned about Nier

I wish that I had looked more Into the game. I can't remember when I came across that video, I think it was maybe in 2013 and I just assumed that it was a Japanese only PS3 game
I wanta remake that makes the whole game a text adventure
"But I didn't say that"

When the game was free on PS+ the online player numbers shot up and gave the game a second wind in terms of competitive play. Plus all those people got to play the single player, too.

I think the fanfare of it finally coming to Steam will be as big as when it came to PS+, all things considered. If EA price it right they could really give the IP a second lease of life. It's one of the best FPS games of the last decade, it's a crime that it sold so badly and was hobbled by the fact that it was released on a decaying platform on PC.

Game deserves a lot of love, it's amazing, fingers crossed so it comes as soon as possible, the sooner the better and not at the very same time as APEX.

Oddly two player sometimes makes it less fun, like when it's not entirely clear what to do next. At least if you just hang out in single player, the AI partner will usually just clear the path or solve the puzzle for you.

Titanfall 2 re-release with Steam workshop support would be a dream come true. Imagine a custom parkour campaign but unlike Mirrors Edge the movement wouldn't be complete trash.

Speaking of movement, the new Doom Eternal gameplay looks amazing with all the added mobility mechanics. Only gripe I had with 2016 was that the gameplay loop would get a bit samey after the first half. Adding more platforming sections seems to be a great way to change things up.
