Uh. These bundles are fantastic. Are they giving coupons out too? I remember they usually pass them out after you bought from them recently.

I almost forgot UNICLR comes out this week. Don't think they even said a thing about PC ? :kd_senkothink:

Japanese companies, especially fighting game related ones, still continue to impress me, in a negative way.
It pisses me off, even though it has been updated to hell and back on steamdb. About 16 hours ago or so was the last one. Is it so wrong to want a same day release or even an announcement? I know to SNK it's very wrong to want a same day release. Bamco seems to be the only one who knows what's what for fighters.

HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT

I just had a look at the steammarket and saw that the Dragon Claw Hook value has grown by a factor of 10 since the last time i played

Now i regret not investing, that's a better return than you got on most stockmarkets

Fanatical lashman bundle
To those who are interested in this bundle, bear in mind that:

  • Cross Channel has a sub-par localisation.
  • If My Heart Had Wings and A Sky Full of Stars are the all-ages version, and the localisation also wasn't the best (although a restoration patch exists for IMHHW, and there was a restoration project for ASFS which sadly went defunct)
  • Adventure of a Lifetime is originally an all-ages title so no lewd for you perverts.

I know nothing about the LoveKami series unfortunately.

I'm still waiting on that Division 1 sale. I nabbed 2 for the three dollars but I have no plans of actually playing it before getting 1.

Come on, sweet 90% sale.

The radio silence is the worst. Also Granblue still hasn't an EU release date yet, the placeholder is still march 27 on amazon. The funny thing is Brussels Challenge is part of the Arc World Tour on march 20-22, so i wonder if the game will officially even be out by then. I don't even care much about Granblue in particular, but the situation surrounding all those fighting games releases is baffling

Oh and speaking of SNK, remember Samurai Shodown ? Remember the PC release ?

What about some Artifact cards? :cpc_kappa:

Artifact was one of my favorite releases of 2018.

The game was free for me and i made about $72 selling the cards from the free packs at launch. Thanks Valve.

I had to go look up Brussels Challenge and as soon as I saw where it takes place... lol. I don't care about Granblue itself either, I just want to play the fighter.

The only thing I can take solace in for SamSho is that SNK fighters that are made in-house have garbage netcode.

Nabbed Stoneshard on a whim and have been quite smitten thus far. A bit early in EA development but most all the pieces are in place and it looks like it could be a classic if the devs follow through building on the current foundation.

Randomly came across a YouTube vid highlighting ES2: Daggerfall Unity and was taken aback by how fresh it looked running in Unity. Doubly so when I realized that I could have the same experience up and running in like 5 minutes with two small free downloads (guess Daggerfall is freeware). It's been a kick playing this retro classic in 1080p @ 120fps with gobs of fan-made QoL modern touches. Feels super approachable for modern sensibilities yet vintage at the same time. Feels a lot like Brutal Doom in the best kinda way.

Bought The Division about a year ago and I really like it!
Enemies are a bit bullet-spongy, the story isn't really anything to write home about, but the atmosphere is great, and the feeling where you are slowly restoring your HQ and bringing back order is great.

So I definitely bought The Division 2 when it was so cheap right now.

I actually had some time to game yesterday and went back to The Division again. Managed to hit level 14 and it feels like I'm about a third through the story...

Paradox Year-end Report 2019

Fourth quarter 2019
  • Revenues amounted to SEK 381.3 (336.9) million, an increase by 13 % compared to the same period last year.
  • Operating profit amounted to SEK 163.5 (146.8) million, an increase by 11 %. Operating profit is positively affected by a reclassification of contingent considerations in connection to the acquisition of Harebrained Schemes, amounting to SEK 44.1 million.
  • Revenues in the quarter are mainly attributable to BATTLETECH, Cities: Skylines, Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron IV and Stellaris.
Full year 2019
  • Revenues amounted to SEK 1,289.3 (1,127.7) million, an increase by 14 % compared to the same period last year.
  • Operating profit amounted to SEK 473.5 (455.1) million, an increase by 4 %

In 2019, we significantly increased both the quality and quantity of our marketing compared to previous years. This is, to a large extent, marketing for the upcoming games Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Crusader Kings III, Empire of Sin and Surviving the Aftermath, with the purpose to reach new player groups, generate sign-ups and pre-orders. We also continue our spending on marketing for our existing gaming titles, to drive engagement and sales and to attract new players. At the end of 2019, the number of monthly unique active players in Paradox’s portfolio was over 4 million, which is about 30% higher than at the end of 2018 and the highest figure ever in our history. At the end of 2019, the number of Paradox accounts registered in our ecosystem was just over 12 million, also an increase of 30% compared to the previous year.

A central part of our business is to offer our games through the distribution channels and business models that our players appreciate. Our most important distribution channel for over a decade is Steam, and we continued our close cooperation during the quarter through the annual Publisher Weekend, which always generates a lot of sales. At the same time, we know that player behavior changes over time and therefore it is important for us to continuously test new distribution channels. Since its launch in June 2019, we have participated in Microsoft’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and during the fourth quarter we expanded our participation by adding several of our most popular games, such as Stellaris, Hearts of Iron IV, and Europa Universalis IV. During the quarter, we also released the game Surviving the Aftermath in an early access version together with Epic Games. After the end of the quarter, we launched a test offer where our Europa Universalis IV players are offered access to all of the game’s expansions through a monthly subscription. This is another way for us to test methods to reach more players and increase their engagement.

So, what's the best way to get in touch with the Steam team to let them know about some weird performance issue I've been having for about a week and a half? If I have a group chat window open, the process for it will eventually jump to over 2GB of RAM used and randomly spikes my CPU which is causing performance issues in games. I took a scroll through the support forums but that feels more like shouting into the void than something that would actually be helpful in tracking down what's causing this and getting it fixed.

How is Factorio right now ? Is there a campaign ?
Trying to understand if it's worth waiting for September or not.

Hmm, I see that Commando behind enemy lines is super cheap now too. Not sure if the Steam version is ok though, I vaguely remember something related to store versions and patchs.

Hey guys I need recommendations. My mother likes to link stuff from reddit, so I created a private sub.

Turns out you can't post videos, even cross post ones.

What can I do? What is another option that she can just share stuff? Don't really want to use LINE lol.

If you have plans to buy Fanatical's Killer Bundle you better do it soon

It's from Fanatical's discord server. Dec is one of the admins

In other words if you are interested in any of Fanatical's bundles you better buy them ASAP. Despite time limit they have limited quantity of bundles. They are trying to restock the bundles, but it's not guaranteed that it will happen

It's great!!! 😀
It's totally playable for hundreds of hours!

Campaign wise, there was a campaign that eased you into the game (freeplay is where it's at) and I believe it's still in the game. They were working on a new campaign but I believe that was cancelled since most players only play freeplay!

I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about gameplay (as best I can). In fact, we should totally create a Factorio thread if we don't have one already! 😀

bloody hell this is hilarious 🍿
this PCGamer article is mindblowing spin on whats said in PDX 2019 report
:dizzy-face:

PCGamer: Paradox will continue to experiment with selling games outside of Steam. The publisher needs to react to player behaviour.

Can't deny it's a great month for Game pass, even if I hate what happened to the Final Fantasy and Wolfenstein franchises.
Two Point Hospital and Indivisible were definitely up there in my most wanted, but feedback dissuaded me to buy them full price, good rental.

Also sucks that Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't on PC, that would complete this surprisingly Japanese month nicely. Yakuza 0 and Ninja Gaiden 2 I'e already played, but those are always welcome.

Just started playing Daemon X Machina.

Gameplay loop is a bit repetitive so far, and I hate the awkward, low budget cutscenes introducing the characters. The story seems non-existent too so far (just reached rank D). That said, the actual mission gameplay and combat is fun, especially against other mechs. Movement is fast and slick, with lots of possible maneuvers. Loadouts are versatile and you can swap anytime. However, the missions end too soon, I feel. Perhaps it's because I'm still in the lower ranks, so let's see how it goes later. Anyway, I'm also disappointed with the lack of visible customization. Yes, I regularly upgrade my mech parts and its equipment, However, I haven't seen any part that actually changes the visual of my mech, they're mostly just stats upgrades so far. Judging by the other mechs used by NPCs, I should come across some parts that actually change the visual sooner or later. Overall, I'm liking it so far.
