For anyone that has SOnic 1 and 2 on Steam, give these fan patches a try
yOU would need Lunar IPS to patch the original game ROM, but make sure to back up the original first!
The palette one actuall changes the background colour in later acts to show off a 'day to night' cycle of sorts. Pretty neat. In the case of SOnic 1, this is thus far the BEST spin dash hack I've used.

soem interesting stuff in there
Will remember to check it later thanks!

Yup, looks like I need to drop the mobile version of Firefox as well. It's a nightmare on this forum for me.
Can't edit my posts, sometimes posts are doubled or tripled and half the time I can't log in because I keep getting an error message about accepting cookies.

All I can say is that while I have no posting issues, Meta is just a tad insistant about the need to refresh pages on Safari. I’m paraphrasing but I think the gist of it is ‘COOKIES MOTHERFUCKER !’

Basically, this is Meta when you load an already opened tab : :jj_mofo:

Safari is barely usable these days anyways. It just ate 20 open tabs the other day. Because.

I have not really been on Steam in something like 1 week or so. Did Valve change the color of the OST stuff? It use to be red, but now it's pink. I noticed since disco changed their cover art to pink and it's about the same shade as what OSTs have now.

OK, this forum either doesn't jive with my phone or my browser, writing posts has been a nightmare lately.

Oh that looks intere- "Dangen Entertainment" nevermind.
the base game has been out since 2016 without Dangen ,.. they are most likely just funding console ports of the Enhanced patch/version
They dont even mentione Dangen in the FAQ about it

looks like pretty hefty update

Ah right, I thought the name sounded familiar.

Has anyone got any thoughts on Warsaw? 40% off. I read it was a bit like Darkest Dungeon which is a great game.

Looking at my Steam Activity timeline, some among us here is actually in the beta! Spill it! :02notes:
surprised it even shows u on activity timeline, the few betas i was in recently were absolutely hidden from commmunity features

French studio Cyanide is working on Rogue Lords. That developer released the horror RPG Call of Cthulhu in 2018. Leikir Studio is the other co-developer, a studio that has worked on the multiplayer party game Wondershot and the bullet hell-inspired platformer Isbarah.

I believe if the game doesn't have a store page (like the halo mcc insider beta) it won't appear on the community page and your profile will have a blank space in the recent activity feed.

Session vs SkaterXL?

Which is better? Is there a "better" one? I heard that SkaterXL had a good mod community keeping the thing alive.

Despite it's flaws and jankiness, Boneworks is so damn fun due to the physics. 6 hours in and still just on level 3/10 (I think).

Im not sure if my body can handle Alyx if it's Boneworks just way way way way better at everything.

In ToCS3's case, the game title pops up in the timeline, but the achievement thumbnails are missing.

Speaking of betas, did the Disaster Report beta invites go out and the beta begin yet? The beta application was open until Feb 13 but I don't know NISA's typical beta timeline.

I'm starting to wonder if it isn't so much the devs as Epic are getting much pickier about how they waste grant their money.
Some devs were discussing a while back the deals are nowhere near as good now compared to when Epic launched. Seems about right, a lot of stuff has been sent to die on EGS recently, probably for peanuts.

The deals were never good, Epic was minimizing the cost of exclusivity to free or very near free for most games on their end, only paying revenue in advance and obviously only accepting the amount they thought the games could achieve based on their popularity potential (hence shopping for them on Steam). The closer the games got to matching those presold copies in actual sales, the closer to free the exclusivity was to Epic, therefor not limiting their warchest alloted to such deals and thus the ability to carry on repeating it. Indies who didn't get special treatment like bigger games like Borderlands 3 and Control most likely got with actual bonus money on top of the sales guarantee, much like exclusivity deals are accepted as the norm on consoles for example, with first parties paying cold hard cash for games to forgo the sales they would get on other systems for x amount of time, were dumb. Being approached by Epic should tell you your game has potential on its own so you don't need to limit yourself and just take some up front money that Epic knows will most likely make back.

This is the dumbest shit. Like why would Switch owners care about a spin-off brawler when they can't get the main game? Of course the PS4 version would sell more?

I bet Atlus uses this to justify not porting though. Because they're fuckin' dumb too.

It's the first time in a while that new console news don't interest me at all. In fact i think i'm going to skip consoles for the first time ever.

I have always owned consoles every generation since the NES, in parallel with having computers since the C64/Amiga. But now, i don't really feel the need to get one since more and more games are coming to PC anyway, especially with japanese games finally seeing the light. Not to mention the games look and run better on PC, and you get the bonus of being able to mod the games, use whatever controller you want or just use a mouse/keyboard, not having to pay a fee to be able to play online, etc... And the few Sony first party exclusives ( at least Microsoft puts them on PC so that's not an issue here ) don't really interest me enough to spend the money on a console, i'd prefer to put that money towards something else.

Right now i only have the Switch plugged in, haven't really touched my PS4 since Persona 5 came out, besides turning it on to try a demo here and there.
Same here. I'm done with consoles for good going forward. There is so little to be missed by skipping them these days, and honestly the sheer number of interesting things to play on PC outweighs that tiny handful of exclusives that passes me by.

I'm especially disappointed in Sony though. The shift in priorities, the mishandling of SIE-J this entire gen, and a nearly complete Western takeover of key staff. Fucking barf.

Mobile Firefox user here. Android, S10+. No issues for me. Fully up-to-date, and my only add-ons for the mobile version is ublock origin and NoScript.

It's weird how pretty much every phone reacts different to this website even if the software is the same. o_O

Pretty sure Epic will focus more on AA(A) games, since games like BL3, Metro Exodus and WWZ gave them most revenue so far. Games like Dying Light 2, the new Batman game and Sony's 1st party games are very likely.

I want to make something clear, last year was a constant psychosis for some fellas wondering what was going to be the next one and at the end of the day, except for one or two games, most of us had a fucking amazing year without even caring about that as I have said multiple times, 12 months are something we can wait for in case we want said games, I'm sure 90% of us had infinite backlog.

Dying Light 2? slight chance but not that big
Batman? almost for sure
Sony deal? bet this was done due to fortnite deals with the playstation brand

So yeah, just stop wondering, over 200 games release on steam monthly and there's REAAAAALLY good content, just enjoy things a bit more :D

Does Vulkan have an inherent problem with screen-tearing?

R6 Siege has a Vulkan beta branch (with the goal to eventually switch over the main branch to it) but it screen tears like crazy regardless of V-sync on/off.

After googling, it's not the only Vulkan game that does this?

The wait to hear whether Shenmue III went or not was torture for backers. I won't put myself through that again by not backing games and just enjoying whatever releases that isn't on EGS.

Was just giving some examples. I admit I was worried last year, but I am really enjoying the games that aren't involved in exclusivity deals nowadays. :D

you see? at the end of the day, we all enjoyed more or less what we wanted, tbh, if you think about it, it didn't matter cause' we jumped into other games that we would have, probably, missed along the way. bright side always ^^

I don't know if the PS4 demo does anything special, but for the PC demo it simply uses the exact same saves as the main game. So the simple answer is yes ;)
Awesome!
No release date for the demo yet, right? Or is it on the same day as the game?
