yup, sounds pretty good so farThat's about the gist of what I could gather from it. From what I can tell, they seem to have a few excellent and new ideas (maxing systems gives a bonus) which is no doubt going to do the genre some good. I still need to see proper flying to decide and I'm definitively not a fan of that crazy amount of space dust which kind of ruins the sense of space and momentum for me but this definitively can be something special.
I agree with you.I find that lately the thread has been veering somewhat off topic. I enjoy idle chit chat or jokes but I would honestly prefer that topics like console games or issues like the one about Chris Avellone were discussed in separate topics. I use the thread as a valuable resource for Steam news and opinions about Steam games and sometimes I have to go through many unrelated posts in order to find on-topic ones. Just my opinion though, if others enjoy having other discussions in this thread then I'm cool with it.
That is surprising, when it was first announced it looked so bad! But good to hear that is turning out good. I love games where you are minuscule in a real world.Might have stated it before, but I really liked the Grounded demo, definetly picking it up.
I mean, Im very into building/management games like The Forest, Factorio, Satisfactory, Subnautica and so on, so Grounded I expected to like, but I was still skeptical. That is surprising, when it was first announced it looked so bad! Yeah, why do they need my totally real Beverly Hills address and my Taco Bell phoneWhy do you need personal information for digital keys?
Hmh it was the only sure game I would pick up during summer sale but I dont like too stressful games and like taking things at my own pace. I knew about the time thing but might still be too stressful for me!I’m enjoying Outer Wilds but the core mechanic is really going counter to my slow play sensibilities
I just googled "UD address" and use the first result lol.Yeah, why do they need my totally real Beverly Hills address and my Taco Bell phone
It's the same one we saw in a video a while ago.Is the Spiritfarer demo new or the same they had in a previous event?
(though the old one already convinced me to get the game so it doesn't really matter )
I wouldn’t characterize it as stressful necessarily. More like “oh I ran out of time so now I need to make the tedious 2-minute run back here... again.” Having that looming over you every “run” kind of disincentivizes open-ended exploration.Hmh it was the only sure game I would pick up during summer sale but I dont like too stressful games and like taking things at my own pace. It's an Ark like.Wait isn't Grounded a Fortnite like?
is that the N64 vesion?lol nope
It is the best version.is that the N64 vesion?
Grounded is actually a spin-off ofis that the N64 vesion?
HOW DARE YOU post that and not post this immediately after?!Grounded is actually a spin-off of
I have 20 sets readyNiice, already have 3 full sets of cards for the summer sale badge.
Got some serious, Dark vibes from that. Germany, 80s setting (at least in the intro), strange (research) plant, and general mystery feeling.INDUSTRIA looks rad
What how!? That's like 12€ with current card prices!I have 20 sets ready
No, while you do build bases in both games. I think that Fortnite has a "horde mode" so you have to protect your base against waves of enemies. And I think that could happen in Grounded that is not the main objective.Wait isn't Grounded a Fortnite like?
Those spiders sure are something, I was taken aback when I saw them for the first time since you did get a real sense of danger from them compared to what else you see in the beginning and then I just ran like hell.I faced the huge spider 5 minutes into the Grounded demo and got rekt, then I quit the game and never looked back.
Maybe I should give it another chance.
1-2? Do you mean about 1k-2k?Titanfall had an average of 1-2 players pre-Steam according to the game subreddit. There are right now 10k playing the game.
Yeah, forgot the K.1-2? Do you mean about 1k-2k?
Cards, summer sale badge, what?
Crafting badges! Think you can also buy the cards.Wait how are yea getting summer sale cards?
I never knew this was a thing and wondered how people got Steam event cards early.Crafting badges! Think you can also buy the cards.
You get a Steam Event card instead of a coupon for a random game.I never knew this was a thing and wondered how people got Steam event cards early.
I do agree somewhat, but what should be kept out?
