I've been gaming on PC since my childhood (on my dad's PC), but I never actually built one myself. I simply research my desired build, put them in a note, and visit a nearby computer store and let them build it for me, free of charge. They'd be more than happy to do it for their customers.

That's why I never understand building a PC as an obstacle for a lot of people.

I also do this but it's not free, although 20€ is a small fee to pay to avoid destroying an expensive part.
It's also nice to come home, plug in the power and be ready to go.

I gotta say, I used to love building my PC, until last upgrade when literally I had to return every single component except the RAM, for a reason or another.
It happened in a very stressful period in my life, and so the whole situation amplified my anxiety and whatnot.

Now I'm like: does it turn on without requiring me to open the case? Well that's good enough for me.

(Not strictly true, I'm waiting for Ampere, since I had to return my new 2080S at the beginning of the lockdown shortages -_- )

Yeah building the pc is part of the fun for me too. Thankfully I have never had anything go wrong. Once a RAM stick wasnt fully in and just fixed it easily and another time I had a faulty water cooling thing that I had to wait to get exchanged.

Only two building problems I've had since my 486!:D

There are hundreds of tenants within the mall, so I imagine that a customer choosing a particular store instead of the others is a huge payment already for them.

Anyway, when it comes to upgrades or just switching parts, I still do it myself.

Dammit, so no release next week or a release drop out of nowhere?
Any of those or maybe even later, it doesn't have to be 365 days later exactly, however, we don't know and my twitter mentions have been ignored so, hehe, yeah, shadowdrop or later date.

An hour ago? you mean 10am ? Steam changes are PDT not EST
Announcement is not release and last year the announcement happened at 4pm in my region (1 hour ago) that's why I'm saying so.

The EGS version was updated very recently after a long period of nothing. might be in preparation for the steam release.
Oh, that's very interesting, by any chance do you know what they updated? :thinking-face:

Yeah, I read on Twitter or somewhere else searching after Tetris Effect PC news that the EGS version updates like 5-6 hours ago or so.

The cynic part of me is saying this is just a power move to force Sony's hand to show their prices first in order to undercut and do some videos about it, like Sony did after the XBO used game fiasco.

Fair enough. Hopefully it's just a weird release time? Or we wait longer :(
So far the only few peeks of information we got are:

it's a timed exclusive, like you can see here

it's getting an steam release (confirmed via mail that you can check in my spreadsheet) :cat-heart-blob:
