Needs atleast 10 more dvdsAbout Flight Simulator:
Game will be 150GB and those 10 DVDs are only half of that.
Makes me wonder why they don't offer a BluRay version tbh.
Anyway, gimme the floppy disc version or get out Microsoft.
I do this once a week, just to stay in form. Need to keep that disc switching muscle memory. Its for the nostalgia of having to switch discs during installs. Except they clearly went overboard and now make you do it 100 times more. LOL
20 minutes to install a game?I do this once a week, just to stay in form. Need to keep that disc switching muscle memory.
20 minutes for ~13mb of data.20 minutes to install a game?
c64?Remember, there was a time when games took 20 mins to load.
I was worried I would find all the walking/traversal boring, but it's suprisingly not.I'm really enjoying Death Stranding. 5 hours in and boredom has not hit me yet.
It's an oddly relaxing game.
"Apps" make my skin crawl. The implication of relinquished control is horrible. I'm genuinely dreading people's absence of reactions to what seems to be their Extend stage.
Thigher than everDurante ALERT!!!!
The water is nice and warm on Linux.
I would never recommend Mystic Quest or Suikoden 4 to anyone but everything else is solid.Thoughts on this list?
Neat can it go down in price so I can actually fucking buy it then Koei?Durante ALERT!!!!
I recently decided to give Pop_OS a try for their tiling feature (shoutouts morningbus), and was pleasantly surprised by how streamlined and simple it has become. I was on Steam and playing windows only games via Proton in minutes. The water is nice and warm on Linux.
The only game off of this that I've played is CT. Some pretty interesting looking titles on that list though.Thoughts on this list?
Then again these jRPG fans have an odd definition of 'short' for these kind of games ^^;

I live for the auto-tiling. It makes going back to Windows hard.I recently decided to give Pop_OS a try for their tiling feature (shoutouts morningbus), and was pleasantly surprised by how streamlined and simple it has become. I was on Steam and playing windows only games via Proton in minutes.
what about steam? any changes? It looks like Sony is still tinkering with Horizon pricing even today. Earlier, they reduced the EGS price from $29.99 to $14.99 in here
From that Troubleshooter fiasco it seems like there's a limit on how often you can change pricing on Steam so idk if they can change it again this fastwhat about steam? any changes?
No changes here yetwhat about steam? any changes?
Sony raised its price by 37.6% at my region on Jun 9th and now I am not going to bother until steep discount. It looks like Sony is still tinkering with Horizon pricing even today. Earlier, they reduced the EGS price from $29.99 to $14.99 in here, which means it'll be available for purchase at $4.99 with the coupon.
No change on Steam, still $14.what about steam? any changes?
Their Summer Sale is starting today (or in 10-12 hours, not sure when do they update the store).I wonder if GMG is planning to do a big sale now that they're revamping their VIP system.
CD Keys still lists the game as including DLC !
Not sure if you still can have pre-order DLC + day one DLC
I would say 'probable', but I would hate to give you a misleading info.
Thanks guys. this more or less confirms my thoughts. I love Kojima but I decided not to get Death Stranding now since I'm more in the mood of playing something else in this moment of time, and hey, might as well just wait until I upgrade to a GPU that supports DLSS considering how much it apparently improves the experience (30XX When!). I also know it's completely irrelevant to Death Stranding, but I still haven't played Kojima's last two games (Peace Walker and Phantom Pain), so that's one more excuse not to spend the money right now!If you want to be 100% sure that you get the pre order stuff then you have to buy the physical copy since all of those should be day 1 editions
They include Suikoden 1 AND THEN 4??!?!?!?!??? Suikoden 1 sure. JUST PLAY SUIKODEN 2! Its not that much longer (assuming you skip the all 108 bullshit), and is maybe one of the best JRPGs? Suikoden 4 is a travesty. Don't play that game.Thoughts on this list?

Yep, it has gotten pretty straightforward to setup. In fact the OS install process to booting up a game I'd say is a lot faster than Windows.I live for the auto-tiling. It makes going back to Windows hard.
I'm glad they're making progress in Battleeye under Wine. Multiplayer games make up a significant amount of my gaming time now but it's wild that that's all that is missing for me.
What a trip the last ten years has been in terms of bringing Linux up to be competitive with Windows. If I was a single-player only gamer I don't think I'd bother with a Windows license.
The Switch version looks fantastic at leastWhy are people on YT impressed by this? Am I missing something?

The biggest thing I know about Linux is that it is maximally customizable. You can customize anything if you put in enough work. You can change every font, every window, every command line to be something different. You can have things happen when you open windows or fire off jobs automatically very easily. It all requires some esoteric knowledge that is pretty easy to find and figure out if you have some computer background. What are the pros of using linux for a casual user ? More elegant UI ? Faster ? Other things ?
