good, almost on par with modern releases of other genres. without crossplay it's still pretty useless since pc userbases dry up extremely quickly for fgs. that counts double for anime games. funny thing is the first couple (or maybe just the very first?) blazblue had pc/console crossplay in 360 gen but then they took it away for future titles
knowing how awful jp fg devs are at releasing modern titles i'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop on something missing at launch. maybe it'll be no lobbies, or no endless rematch in online, or just missing a rematch button entirely, or something else. no idea why jp fg devs in specific are so terrible at keeping up with modern features or even matching features in previous versions of games but it always seems to be the case.
capcom might finally break the cycle with sf6 though. they seem to have learned what people hated about sfv launch, plus mvci netcode was quite good and it had pc crossplay too. mvci just also had its own issues heh.
