Replaying Dragon Age II made me go back to Dragon Age Origins instead. It's so much better in virtually every aspect, from the visual and artstyle (despite being an older game), characters, story, and even combat. I always dreaded Dragon Age II combat, what a massive downgrade from Origins' rtwp.

Ehi Mor, do we have any news about world War Z?
Unfortunately for those who are waiting for it, no, I don't think it will come at all. Saber confirmed it was a timed exclusivity however, either they extended it or they don't care moving it to Steam.

I could be wrong but yeah, WWZ is at this point a potential full time exclusive.

Out on Steam now (it has been exclusive for 383 days)

a year late, with barely any discount, and complete dogshit regional pricing ... surely gonna sell like hotcakes ... nacon - real geniuses

Considering pre-ordering Humankind, Baldurs Gate 3 and Warhammer 3. I fully expect and intend to play them day 1 so that's why.

Saviors of Sapphire Wings / Stranger of Sword City Revisited is out today !

That being said it's really pricey and the last time I looked at steam user reviews for the first version of SoSC scared me bad. I knew it was a hard game, but they make it sound like something you may not be able to finish (end game boss one shotting characters, etc)

Savior is a lot easier than Sword. But still a pretty difficult game by the time you get to the endgame. Its one of the only games I played on Easy from the start lmao

Unfortunate, because it would be a perfect fit for the Switch and I wouldn't say no to a good old DRPG. But Wizardry-like is another story :sweaty-blob:
I guess I'm a filthy casual.

Yeah me too. Like a good Civ game and this one looks good.

By pre-order i mean i will most likely buy it the day before release to get the pre-order discount.

I checked the store pages and I feel more inclined to pre-order Humankind due to the discount, don't know when I will pre-order them though, but I will at some point. Baldurs Gate 3 will have the same price also when it's officially out so might wait for that longer. Im not gonna play it until it's out of ea anyway. Warhammer 3 only has a pre-order bonus.

You forgot this thing.

EDIT: Oh, based on the number of followers on Steam. Welp.

I don't think followers matters much. I stil remember people thinking Hades will do bad because it had a lot less followers than Ashen when they were exclusive.

Can you actually pre-order BG3? Since it's an early access title, there will be no refund/cancellation window until its 1.0 version releases.

Man, I wish this is isometric like Diablo. I'm too old for that kind of action. :confused-face:

Not sure if it was quoted here or elsewhere but didn't Saber's CEO say on some podcast that they extended the deal?

Someone mentioned this to me on Twitter but no one gave me any source :(

Man I want roguebook but it is published by Nacon.
I am concerend whether the devs of the game will get paid properly.
If you don't mind pre ordering out of Steam store you could try to pre order the game on their own site using Xsolla payment service. The cut the devs get should be higher than on Steam store at least.

Edit: Okay, I thought Hades would do worse than Ashen, but I never expected them do do badly!

Edit²: Hades had a third of the number followers on release day, and it has 100 times more reviews a year and a half later. :lul:

Ashen was literally never updated after its release! :kappa:

Like I wrote, amount of followers don't matter much.

I disagree. It is a measure of the hype surrounding the game before it is released.

However, I agree that it is not a predictor of the success of the game in the long run, e.g. Ashen was never updated and died on release.

Ashen vs. Hades

Was Ashen on Game Pass? Were the followers astroturfing?

Some really good games are coming to PC Game Pass.

I feel Im gonna use so much time finishing Octopath I might as well just use the game pass version as a demo to see if the PC version is good.

Otherwise Im definetly gonna check out Empire of Sin, Genesis Noir and Narita Boy to see if it's worth buying on Steam.
