There's a rumored third version of Nier coming later this year after Gestalt and Replicant;
It'll be called Nier Incest and the main character will have to save both his daughter and his sister at the same time

CDPR thing and cyberpunk just reminds me of this with all the online chatter about it and then seeing the numbers

Everyone I know who was busy playing the game was too busy... playing the game to actually give a shit about all the hubbub online, it was all going by so fast how could anyone that wasn't intentionally trying to stick their face in it pay attention?



Also Fallout76 is fun

Everyone can enjoy whatever they like, even if its trash for others, but glaring issues, misinformation and the like should still be pointed out.
That said, it seemed to me that most CP2077 criticism came from people that didnt play it.

Koei Tecmo pulled another Koei Tecmo...
Atelier Sophie DX looks worse than the original. This affects all DX versions (PS4 and Switch as well), not just the PC version:

Poor trees... xd
Firis and Lydie and Suelle are fine though, Firis DX has even the proper lighting/bloom/ambient occlusion that were broken in the original PC Firis.

Lol speaking of dragon age 2, I played it for the first time like a month ago now and I knew going in "Oh god it's so repetitive! They ruined it compared to Dragon Age origins!"
I was super hesitant to play it because Origins is one of my favorite RPGs
So I get to playing it and it's like "I thought this was supposed to be bad?" and then I was like I just wish it had some more features that were in origins but they improved on some stuff and re-rused a lot of encounter maps other than that, not so bad.

Well, in this case it isn't just a low effort PC port, but a low effort new version in general, since the PS4/PS5 and Switch versions are also affected by the downgrade.
To make it worse, the trees leaves looked better even in the PS3 version (at least aesthetically)...

Nope, they're entirely new. Vita version:



Looking closely, I think the individual leaves in the DX version may actually be more technically "detailed" than in the older version, but aesthetically they just ended up looking worse.
Then there's the missing grass too in this specific shot, and in another screenshot I posted earlier, missing shadows from the trees leaves.

EDIT: Been looking at more footage from original and DX, and it seems to be just this one specific location that was changed?

Uh, that's weird. Yeah, they kinda look worse and the missing grass and shadows made me think it had to be from the Vita version. But now that I look closer, I see everything else is completely identical. Maybe it's just a bug then?

Yeah, it's a really weird change. Other footage that I've been checking is looking fine when compared to the original (including trees and their shadows), it's just that one specific location that is looking worse (though atm there's only footage from the early parts of the DX version, of course).

Okay, good new, bad news and sad news.

Good news is that the Papa Nier will be included in day one editions of the physical PS4 game.

Bad news is that my CE is no where to be found so I will not be playing tomorrow.


The sad news is that my Nier Repicant OST preorder will not include the yonah diary.... oh well I guess they sold out. Maybe some one will put up a listing.

About the Yonah thing is so weird because it was not until earlier this month that the pre-order yonah thing should up and while it does mention the pre-order thing they are still advertising it on the site, and some people that pre-ordered it didn't get any messages about getting it
