I saw a bunch of folks in my feeds buying Fate Seeker, it looks like the game is 90% off. There's a working English translation too, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

Yeah, I grabbed it as well!

There's another translation available, but I'm not sure which one is preferred:

Never expect logical decisions coming from SEGA, you will get disappointed.

Be like me expect nothing and still get disappointed, just a little bit less so.

Does SMT3 on Steam have a speed toggle like a lot of JRPG rereleases have?
Last time i played it was on an emuwith speed toggle and i am not sure if i want to go back

Yes. I simply don't think Valve has what it takes to introduce a platform with any form of certification requirements. (And that's not necessarily a bad thing)

I'm not sure how that could be the case. Unless you don't want to run the existing Steam library of tens of thousands of games. Which is the whole point, is it not?

If there's a list of games, it needs to be a selection done and maintained by Valve which works out of the box (but hopefully the device wouldn't be limited to just that selection).
I'd hope Valve is still on the "anything can do everything" angle that lead to the Steam Controller and Steam Input.
Though, I really have to wonder how much a portable 'nix machine can have...

Honestly I think people may be setting themselves up for disappointment with the airplane mode thing thinking it will be a handheld, especially when the recent leaks from the Resetera member that was a former Valve employee saying they saw a console form factor.

Did they say when they left Valve and what stage of development it was in when they last saw it?

I could imagine a scenario where Valve was prototyping a successor to the Steam machines in a console form factor, only to change course with the success of the Switch and growing interest in handheld PC devices like the GDP.

If its not a handheld then it is almost certainly a new VR headset.

I don't see a market of any kind for a console like steam machine right now.

Maybe a cheap streaming shield like device under your tv but not a 700$+ console. I think most PC gamers right now would rather desperately throw that money at an actual PC build or even prebuilts.

Is Morwul alive?
If Valve doesn't deny this in the next 24hrs I am gonna start creating a folder/collection in my steam library titled "Handheld" :sneaky:

I definitely can get 50-100 titles in their that I would love to play on the go. The Dark Souls trilogy replay is definitely happening on the SteamPal

Also gonna stock up on 3D platformers and jrpgs during the summer seal :sneaky:

Good Lord, I need to save asap for that hypothetical hardware, it won’t be cheap.

In other news I resumed my Wasteland 2 playthrough and I can safely say, after loving it, that I now hate it with all my guts. The game won’t end, it’s bloated as fuck, and now in the last part it just became extremely difficult.
Cool.

A part of me still love it and want to play W3, but for fuck’s sake, please end !
No idea how I will be able to destroy a Scorpitron or get out of that hellish ambush.

Based ars avoids the sensational clickbait by calling it a PC, yay.

Nintendo will be unphased and no gaming PC and its associated cost/use is gonna make a dent in their market. If it looks like a Switch it only validates them.
