I just think that $6 6 month offer seems beyond desperate.What happened?

I finished it on my PC, but found it very dissapointing, gave it 6.5/10 in my review here.
No, it's a terrible game.
Usual Ubisoft bullshit, I regret buying it.
Even if I loved it, I'm not going to buy it again just because Ubisoft can't make games work properly on PC.

I actually had to finish the game with a bunch of cheats to get through it otherwise it was too boring, repetive and uninteresting. The main missions felt like a bunch of side-missions. The Legion system was imo a big mistake. Not having a chosen protagonist with some story background and relationships around him or her was a bad choice by Ubi, didn't give a shit about any of the members in the Legion system.
Well, lashman warned us about the Ninja Gaiden port yesterday. Looks like it is going to be a bargain bin purchase for me (except that KT never sell their game below $10).
Only reason I gave it 6.5 was because the city looked really nice, for the most part at least and the gameplay was decent/okay, despite it not being anything. The 4 hours was kinda fun. Then it became boring, repetive and uninteresting. The ending was shit too. So yeah, I somewhat regret using my time on it. Played it via Ubi+.Agreed. I enjoyed WD2, I wish they just brought that gang back

Ninja Gaiden was always going to be a discount game for me. I am not great at the character action games but have a soft spot for Ninja Gaiden. However the news that these are the Sigma versions, that the PSP versions had been used in places (not sure how true that one was) and now the whole editing cfg files.

Seems like the Japanese are the only ones who can put a good range of diverse UK regional accents in their games.

I loved the regional accents used in Xenoblades. A lot of people hated it but it was nice hearing something different for a change.
Always liked the stuff the translators did with the Dragon Quest games as well.
And seeing as I am running through Stormblood at the moment I find it absolutely hilarious (in a good way) that the Ala Mhigans have Yorkshire accents.
UK accents in games are either put on london accents or exaggerated country accents

In the trailer they showed a guy ejecting from a jet, pulls out a rocket launcher, and then blows up the enemy jet chasing him lol. I wonder if that will be a gameplay mechanic when piloting jets lol.

I'm not necessarily against it, but why should they be?
It's a bit odd how value is regarded differently here; a 10 hour long single-player game can be worth $60, while a 500 hour multiplayer experience may not be worth $10.
This can vary pretty extensively depending on the user of course, this is just one observation.
I think in the case of CSGO, Prime shouldn't be free at least. A completely F2P matchmaking system means you can cheat and create a new account whenever you're banned, and it just ruins the whole experience for everyone.

For me, it's because of the monitization of MP games -- they may as well be F2P with how much shilling and begging goes on every time you log on. F2P probably also increases the player base. In the old days, I would have totally agreed that a good MP game is worth $60.

Jesus christ. So I finally decided to check out Second Extinction on game pass to see if it's "worthy" of being on my Steam wishlist. I keep forgetting I have it installed because I never really open the Xbox app.
Yet after the logo and logging in stuff in-game, the game tells me that the current version is out of date and I have to update it.
Problem is that the Xbox app isn't showing any new update and there isn't a "check for update" in the Xbox app. Googling doesn't give me any answer either.

Fair enough, if anything a F2P entry level version would be a good implemented method, I mean I think even I would give it a play if it is F2P.
But the whole '$ = time I get out of a game' kinda loses its meaning amongst this particular forum when so many of us get games with 10%+ off on launch however possible :V
