It is 2oth Max Payne anniversary and it is sad to think that we will reach 30th one without new entry.
As an observation, Days Gone is already between 2nd and 3rd global top seller on Steam.
The absolute majority of pc gamers doesn't care about EGS when there are no coupons or long awaited exclusives. Considering the terrible strategy Epic is using to buy themselves into the pc gaming market, this is the best outcome for us as consumers.
It's especially funny when it's the same strategy EGS said they'd never use as it devalues games and the developers' work. lol.

I think I'd prefer a Hitbox style layout, but I'm not trying to spend too much.
It's something that I've thought about, good to know there is a modding scene to it. Though if I was going to get one of these I could prefer if the directional keys were on the right side like the arrow keys on a keyboard.

WASD is fine - though I'd say it's like having a hitbox with none of its benefits but when it comes to fighting game controllers preference takes priority over anything - but I'd really just go for a "proper" WASD controller with Sanwa buttons for normal inputs.Why am I so tempted to grab this

Another big Hired Gun patch, game's got great support it seems, hope they resolve all major issues people had. I'm waiting a little bit just to play it at its best..!

I agree with this sentiment, preference is king (especially for the directional controls) but for me nothing beats good arcade buttons for the button inputs.

Not gonna lie, I think mechanical keyboard keys are an awful idea for something like this. A big part of the appeal of arcade sticks for me over the years has been that Sanwa buttons require very little force or depth to trigger, which allows you to make inputs effortlessly and quickly. I guess for someone very used to playing on keyboard, this is probably nice, but I can't see it being on par with a hitbox.
