I must be an outlier, since I keep seeing people/reviews say the combat wasn't good. For me, I was so immersed in the story and characters that the gameplay always felt high stakes. It was better on higher difficulty, but being so absorbed in the story made any combat "fun", or at least engaging. Anyway, looking forward to this on Steam. What a world.Nah, imho the audience needs to really like Joel, the whole game happens only because of feelings towards him. If you care less or are indifferent about him it's a disconnect to the plot. Stupid people doing stupid things, the time to come to your senses, abandon this bananas quest and turn around comes early in the game.
About the combat of 1, i felt the highest difficulty is an ok stealth puzzle type deal where you have to map out your approach and things come together when you find the right one, usually not my type of game but not bad... attempts to lower difficulty and play it more actiony (which is usually more for me) had me going back quick because it didn't seem made for that and it wasn't fun at all.
The full article is worth reading but be warned it's full of sadness stories.Developers who spoke anonymously to Kotaku said they’d crunched in ten-hour shifts over six days a week prior to Fallout 76’s launch, with some saying they fantasised about being injured to avoid having to come into work the following day.
Funny you mention Wishlists as this might have a lot to do with my hands-off approach to a game's dev cycle as well. The very occasional game can break through and get me to follow it further but yeah I'm old and in general this has been my approach for many years now. I don't like hype culture.
I don't watch them at all but these events are good for reading threads like this after the fact and padding my wishlist with anything looking mildly interesting.
I cannot miss the coffee talk
HAHAHAHAHHA
The real question is: will the port still be shit? Finally FF7R will come to PC on the 16th. (maybe).
oh, they knew everyone would notice - problem is that no one (in the mainstream) gives a fuck about how much people in poorer countries pay for gamesHAHAHAHAHHA
THEY SILENTLY HIKED THE PRICES BEYOND THEIR CURRENT $60 PRICING. AND THEY THOUGHT STUPID NON-AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL NOT NOTICE IT

I have a little system that I (mostly) adhere to:Funny you mention Wishlists as this might have a lot to do with my hands-off approach to a game's dev cycle as well.
I Wishlist games all the time on Steam, even those of mild interest. I just "set it & forget it", focusing instead on what is directly in front of me in the here and now.
Then some months or years (lol) later I get an email notification that a Wishlist item has gone on sale and I simply check back in to look over the general reception and act accordingly.
It's a pretty simple system that frees up a ton of headspace while at the same time preventing anything from falling through the cracks. It really is a brilliant service/feature perk that keeps me "in the know" without being a slave to the Up-To-Date Latest News (tm.) & hype cycle.
About as legal as Xbox Game Pass probably. Is this legal?:
It could be at the PC gaming show too.I guess the Uncharted release date will be announced at this Epic Games showcase. I hope it's not exclusive even for a short time.

After RE2 and RE3, it's obvious that Capcom isn't interested in making the definitive versions of the games because they keep cutting corners. So I don't care anymore, my mentality towards REmake 4 is: bring it on. Get fucking weird with it. Do your worst, Capcom!Started to replay Resi 4 because of the remake.
Instantly played 8 hours without a break and thought, honestly, this really doesn't need a remake. It's still amazing.
Then i had to redo the whole mine cart part because i failed the QTE at the end.
Yea, maybe a remake will do some good afterall
You mean the DX11 renderer will be phased out ?Steam :: Resident Evil 2 :: (Text updated)Update on system requirements
An upgrade patch will be releasing soon and system requirements will also be updated. 【Update on system requirements】 The system requirements will change with the arrival of the upgrade patch. The new minimum requirements are listed below alongside the previous specifications no longer supported...steamcommunity.com
They will change game system requirements which is not really a problem itself but how they are going to do it is. Instead of creating a new appid they will literally decimate people who don't have DX12 GPU. I know that from a technical point of view everybody should own one but not everybody can afford it on less fortunate countries over the world.
The question is, is there's any chance this can cause a legal issue in the EU? It looks like an anticonsumer practise but I don't know much in the end of the days.
Tis a great game. Hasn't that RE4 graphical update just been put out by those independent guys? I played a bit of it a while ago when the first few chapters were done. Seemed like a very good upgrade, something that Capcom should've done themselves.Started to replay Resi 4 because of the remake.

.Very boring showcase 2 (3?) new exclusives were shown, LOTR Return to Moira and Shoulders of Giants were 2 of them at least. Not Epic Games Publishing, so timed exclusive.
A lot of multiplat stuff, many already playable on Steam.
Nothing new on the Epic Publishing front.
Friday stream coming up in about 15 minutes. Going to work on finishing up Ender Lilies, or at least getting as close as we can. Chances are it'll probably be a lot of backtracking today so I want to give everyone a heads up of what to expect.
But I'm sure we'll still find a way to sneak some goofiness in there.
so what you're saying, it's better than the sgf opening show
Yes, that's what I believe. No DX11 option for current owners. You mean the DX11 renderer will be phased out ?
No. SGF was much better.so what you're saying, it's better than the sgf opening show
our opinions are different then, but i have a central argument that completely demolishes any grounds you have to believe that SGF was better, for you see, I have a bottle of tarkhunNo. SGF was much better.
A masterpiece. No joke. It's fantastic.
