Downunder.
Johren is trash mainly because they keep mosaics on their english releases.
Johren is owned by DMM, and since DMM is a Japanese company, it also must follow its law pertinent to censoring of explicit materials.

I do agree that Johren is a bad store, although for a different reason. Still, as Knurek said, once you've purchased the game it's relatively trivial to bypass the DRM altogether.

Dohna dohna OST is pretty banger, but it is as expected from Alicesoft. :flare_smirk:

Correct I know 175th article from japanese penal code for my profession XD, but that's the point I really don't get Johren games store when DMM/FANZA has kind of overseas store for AV and hentai products (R18) integrated with Japanese account where fanza points (to be discontinued) and credit cards are shared between regions. They could have used that site taking advantage of the DMM games launcher.
Dohna dohna is top and it's far better than 13 sentinels : P (I love both).

Looking forward to Rose's dlc.
Making the dlc for what was originally a first person game in third person is an interesting decision.
This along with the new third person mode for Village makes me think that the days of first person RE are over.
I wonder if Rose will become the new face of the franchise.

I wondering that too. I like both the First Person and Third Person games, and it'd be best if they just let you choose :)

And I also wonder where they'll go with Rose, yep. Could very well be the next main protagnosit, also considering they are doing a 16-year time jump with that DLC.

Man I love the announcements of the announcements, videogame marketing in 2022 is so good!
Thank god they let us know it's the 10th anniversary of Dragon's Dogma, we almost forgot that

Good for RE8 stuff and RE4 will be cool af (but we already knew that too)

Genuinely excited for 3rd person perspective for RE Village. While I prefer FPS games over TPS, RE somehow doesn't feel right in the first person perspective for me.

Also, that announcement of announcement of Dragons Dogma video was just brutal. I will take a bit of copium for now and hope that they will show DD2 in two days.

Looking forward to DF video about the RE2, RE3 and Re7 improvements.
If there's one thing that the RE Engine has been bad at is their SSR implementation, so RT that shit. Though who knows if I can get a decent performance with RT on but I still want to see it.

Also maybe I'll get R7 and 8 at some point. 8 getting a 3rd person mode definitely helps me make that decision for that game, still not sure about 7.

Who do I need to call at nvidia to have them pick my lottery numbers for me?

Although I wonder when this might get announced. As far as I'm aware S-E doesn't have anything other than the FFVII stream later this week and I think that's only meant to last like 10mins lol.

There's the Speculated nintendo direct near the end of the month, so if they shit out a switch version it could also mean they're coming to all the other platforms as well
I mean it's just a theory but it's my best guess with what's left?
There was supposedly going to be a Final Fantasy Tactics thing as well so who really knows

FF Tactics and FF IX Remake were both in the GFN leak, but I'm still surprised every time something gets confirmed lol. Yeah, I thinks thursday's event will most likely show FFVII Ever Crisis, FFVIIR Part 1 coming to Steam and Xbox and the teaser for FFVIIR2, normally I wouldn't be this optimistic but they're hyping the shit out of that 10 min event lol

I added 26 games to my cart that I really want for my Deck. The total was a little over 500$ so that is what I am going for next week when the summer sale starts. Assuming half of the 26 get good discounts (50-75% off) I should land somewhere in the 50-100$ range for my total. And if the sale really sucks than I will drop some $$$ on Eneba.

I gotta say Steam Deck long term winds up being a very pricey device simply because of how convenient it is and how much you want to play with it. And that is for both new/old games. I picked up the 250gb version so that isn't even as much as other people paid. I also got some accessories for it. But yea wallet is gonna hurt the rest of the year with all the Atlus stuff and mountain of other games I want.

I kind of feel bad for Switch owners who buy the console and so much accessories. And then they don't get anywhere near the type of good deals PC gamers get. The money adds up.

When i checked the top stories today, many of the gaming ones were ragging on Starfield pretty bad. Bethesda has their work cut out for them. Many articles have the opinion that it's going to be "too big" which is you know... I've been saying this about open world games for like 2 years already lol.

I am glad the protag isn't voiced at least. Hopefully that means you'll be able to actually role-play a character you want, and not just a cookie-cutout like Fallout 4 had.

man Tactic Ogre is a god damn classic. They better not mess this up, but they probably will.

Also lol, still no Final Fantasy Tactics on PC.

I don't trust journos when they complain about something being too big, because they always complain about not having time and they want to play as many games as possible, so by default they want short linear games, so their taste to the pure opposite to what I want. I rather play one game all year instead of many. So Starfield is one of my most wanted games!

I like giant games, so that's fine for me, my biggest issue with "open-world" games is usually traversal.
Some games just have these huge open world maps and then they bog down traversal in a lot of different ways so and in the end moving from point A to point B feels terrible and you just wish everything in the map had fasttravel.

Every time you get a terrible map that tells you where you wanna go but you can hardly see how, fall damage from the smallest slope that nearly kills you, characters that can't climb anything and devs that put impossible to climb rock formations everywhere, and to top it all off a vehicle / horse that due to a combination of simulated inertia and terrible controls feels like steering a jumbo jet and makes walking/running faster anyway.
So traversal just end up being a chore.
I reached my highest point of disgust with Witcher 3, I just kept running around because using Roach was so shit.
The only games in recent memory that were fine were Cold Steel series, the bikes were meh, but the horses just increased your speed and dsidn't feel like a chore to use, but those are not open world games anyway.

WoW and Lost Ark and some mmo in general with their mounts may not be realistic (a horse popping up from under your ass) but the good thing is the horse only increases the movement speed and it controls 100% like the character so it is practical and efficient.
It would be cool to have vehicles that were in the middle between those extremes (as you'll never get the options of turning off all the "realism"), but the best I'll hope for is an option to disable fall damage before I inevitably have to resort to using Cheat Engine for that

Says person who's company is buying game development middleware and tools left end right to basically make their own engine only viable option on the market.
Ohhhhhh... We're a bit behind on John Oliver. Just watched the utility company monopoly episode, so this'll be something to look forward to.

i have gotten 200 dollars from my mom, and now i have these choices, and i have no idea how to do a poll, so react works probably:

  • do the funny toucan bird if i should invest in a SSD for this new laptop which has now ascended into my main PC (IT CAN EVEN EMULATE SMTV 60+ FPS WITH THE MODS, I LOVE THIS THING, IT'S EVEN MORE POWERFUL THAN MY DESKTOP, BUT IT HAS 250 GIGS OF STORAGE, AND THE SSD IS EXPENSIVE, PLUS I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO MOUNT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE)
  • do the finger up point finger up yeah up finger if i should NOT get a SSD, and instead spare my money (which will be critical, as i won't get my student loan money next month, and i'll basically be broke without these moneys)

edit: wait WHY SHOULDN'T I GET ONE? I THOUGHT IT'D BE SMART WITH THE FIRST CHOICE, BUT LIKE, 3 MINS IN, AND I'VE GOTTEN TWO UPFINGERS, WHATS SO BAD WITH SSDS?? WAIT NONONONONONONONONOON, WHY IS THERE SO MANY UPFINGERS? THERE'S NOW 4?
CAN SOMEONE LIKE, TELL ME WHY IT SEEMS LIKE A BAD IDEA
