I could upgrade my ten year old Logitech 2.1 speakers (Z21 something) but audio is such a low priority for me that I never feel compelled to.
These Razor speakers are tempting me (already have a Chroma enabled Black Widow keyboard), but oh my do they look hideous.
Are these Bose ones any good? I added them to my wishlist after a commendation a while ago.
Reddit at least doesn't have good opinions about Bose, apparently there's a saying about Bose, "if it's all highs and no lows it must be bose", though I have no idea how accurate this saying is.

I had a pair of Bose Quietcomfort headphones. Nice noisecancelling, decent battery. Then apparently the case that came with them was designed really poorly, so pressure was applied to the headphones while in the case, so the circuit board inside them was shorted, causing them to turn themselves on whenever they wanted, even when set to off.

Nice design there!

Add me to the club of bad experiences with Razer products. My mouse got a double click issue after only a year of use. My friend bought Razer 17" laptop and it broke after about 10 months. He got a replacement unit with better specs which he immediately sold.
My lucky streak with Razer products has so far never abandoned me. Had a Deathadder Elite for years now, and it still works well and upgraded to the wireless Deathadder V2 a couple of years ago and it's still going strong.

I thought it was actually tomorrow for Steam.
(But what I was getting at was mainly Bamco being dumb as fuck with their releases once again)
Yeah, I didn't double check the release date before posting.
So I guess it'll either go live in 11~13 hours for an EU midnight release, or it'll go live tomorrow for the usual release time on Steam, in 29~30 hours.

Tried the demo. It's a pretty interesting idea, being able to jump between all kinds of objects, each with very different controls and abilities. My only big grievance is the camera. Depending on what kind of machine you control, the game can be very weird to play and at least the very first robot you play in the demo made me almost feel nauseous.
Also, playing it on the Deck, the CPU usage goes through the roof and it draws 25W near constantly. Playing at 30 FPS also somehow makes everything about the game's camera worse. Game just feels like a technical mess.
Tried the demo as well and share the same thoughts.

Neat ideas in place but the game feels poorly optimized and the camera is WAY too floaty.

I've got a pretty high tolerance for jank, but it just feels bad playing this one.

Razer doesn't make good products, but the issue is that the other companies aren't exactly better.
I don't trust Logitech or Corsair or whatever else any better than Razer for any device...

It all depends if you buy gaming branded junk or not.
I'm not a fan of Logitech's gaming orinated mice with the "G" brand.
But their MX Vertical with focus on Ergonomics is god tier
Also their old MX 518 (not the new one, not tried it) was the best regular mouse iv ever used.

Finally managed to launch APK game with steam:

if anybody is interested, this is what you need to put on the fields:

"C:\Users\YOURUSERFOLDER\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\MicrosoftCorporationII.WindowsSubsystemForAndroid_8wekyb3d8bbwe\WsaClient.exe"

and on parameters:

/launch wsa://com.aniplex.fategrandorder.en

Logitech is a toss up when it comes with their stuff.

Their headsets are usually shit. The mouses are tanks, in general. I have a pair of their speakers and they're good.

This. Every Razer product I’ve bought has been guaranteed landfill after a very short time. I don’t go near them anymore.

Got a Logitech G335 headset recently, it's the most confortable headset I ever gotten for my big ears (though before these I only had very cheap ones).
My old Logitech LS11 speakers are decent for such cheap speakers, but the Z200 I tried a while back were awful in games.

Been hearing that the quality of their speakers have been dropping in recent years, they even pulled stuff like this (found pic on reddit, Z333 speakers):

new project by former Hard West and Phantom Doctrine devs finally revealed

Basically the most of the Hard West /Phantom Doctrine devteam bailed the Creativeforge studio after some dissagreements with management soon after Phantom Doctrine's release (as said int this article https://techraptor.net/gaming/news/phantom-doctrine-core-team-departs-as-creativeforge-games-appoints-new-ceo ) and made their own studio Artificer ..... the original Dev studio Creativeforge basically became manufacturer for PlayWay

Tower of Fantasy releases August 10th (though it's 11th in the morning for EU or something like that).
Since I think some were interested in that one. Though it's via standalone client, Steam release will be later this year.
I'm probably gonna try it since it's anime and free, which is a powerful combination that I happen to be weak against, but from what I've read about it I don't think I'll be playing for long.
Gacha + MMRORPG sounds like complete P2W hell.
But maybe it's a decent filler until Genshin 3.0 releases ~2 weeks later.

Annapurna really had bad experience with Epic Store to the point that they decided to fully abandon it just like that XD
I imagine their sales on EGS weren't great, but Epic has also been shifting away from moneyhatting exclusives for some time now. it's just that games take a while to develop, so it's taken some time for the consequences of their shutting off the money spigot to manifest
