I have a horrible chair for my desk. But I never sit on the desk so it doesn't matter.

Though the situation isn't that much better in front of the TV either lol. :rip:

Square will bring KH to Steam during TGS, they'll show it running on the Deck on the showfloor.

I mean sure, why not. I personally don't care but rooting for you guys who want it.

Here's Warren, another belowed Square Enix character to wish you luck.

Guys, please don't use your kitchen chair for gaming...
Instead of buying your 100th anime figurine or whatever you degenerates waste money on, save 100€ and buy a basic confortable chair. Your future self will thank you.
Yeah I'm thinking that I will try to save for one after I have my steam deck funds ready.

I really really want this one! But its pricey, 330€, considering that it took me more than a year to save up for the deck, it will still take me some time for the chair.

Don't get a gaming chair.

Just buy a normal ass office chair. If you can find one from an office that had closed recently near you or something that is ideal. They last forever and are meant for you to sit on your behind and stare at a computer. Gaming chairs are just marketing. Don't buy that crap.

Only interesting so far is AC and Valiant Hearts 2 I guess. I have Netflix, so I can play it, but, I kinda don't want to play it on mobile.

Valiant Hearts is a Netflix game??

Oh Ubi..oh Ubi..

By the way I'm not sure if this is new or not but did Ubi always own the dev of the Tracmania game?

As it has been mentioned multiple times in the best, a double edged sword that Ubi has is it's studio lack of identity.

Yes all of you may know which studio works on what games, but I can't even tell the difference between Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec.

I mean at least with Rockstar all you need to know if that Rockstar North does GTA while Rock Star San Diego does RDR.

Meanwhile Ubisoft has like 10 different "Ubisoft studio" named after the city that they are in.

So if Ubisoft successsed all of it's studios successed but if even one "fails" they share the failure together.

Compared to Blend Studio making a bad game vs Sucker Punch. You know who is who. And won't think that Sucker Punch is bad because of it.

3D printing is really fun, especially if you can make some custom parts to repair or build things that would have otherwise been more difficult or expensive (or even impossible).
I got a 3D printer in early 2021 and it's seen a lot of use.
It is really fun but it can be pain in the ass XD Especially with cheaper models like this. For example bed leveling is really annoying XD

as long as they continue to be exclusively not on steam - i don't give a single fuck about any of their games
Tbh, I have such an easy time ignoring their games for this reason that I'm thinking even if they ever come back I still won't bother. The amount of bloat in their games is fucking insane. I'd rather spend my time on games that don't waste it.

i would probably stick to AssCreed games tbh, because everything else they've been showing for the last few years is just fucking dire

I would have been excited if Valiant Hearts and Ass Creed were on Steam. I still want AC Valhalla, WD Legion, and Far Cry 6 on Steam.
yup, same here

and if those ever come - they better be at least 75% off, or they can fuck right off

Mario + Rabbids was an excellent game and I will defend the series till my last breath! And this one has significantly higher budget than the last one so I am hyped.

The new Assassin's Creed though... Need to see gameplay. And not coming to Steam means I wouldn't play it.

its hard for them to have own identity when basically all AC games are joint developments between 10+ city named studios , with one of the canadian ones being formal lead

This is why that name stood out to me (I'm not familiar with the franchise) but Ubisoft owning anything not called "Ubisoft City name" is odd to me.

not sure if is this possible, i was looking at humble bundle 2k megahits, BL3 is the super deluxe edition, so if i activate that key i will have a bigger discount in the Ultimate Edition in Steam? if the answer is yes, how much cheaper will be to complete the bundle?

"Customers can buy this bundle only if they don't already own anything in the bundle. This format is typically used for a bundle of a base application plus DLC. Common examples are "Deluxe Edition", "Special Edition", or "Game + Soundtrack" bundles."

To be honest the "ultimate" edition isn't really worth getting from all of my research into borderlands 3 because it just gives you gold gun skins and some useless like arena lvl DLC things which are kind of shit (The Season 2 pass) so if all you want from the 2k thing is the BL 3 that's the cheapest you can get the deluxe edition and you can sell off the other collection keys pretty easy

According to SteamDB, MW2 was added in March. My baseless speculation is Phil helped grease the wheels between Valve and Activision while the MS purchase is proceeding.
I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for Phil or anyone at Microsoft to do anything like that until the acquisition actually closes. They wouldn't risk such a major deal over Call of Duty being on Steam, it would 100% need to be an Activision decision.

Office chairs are definitely comfier but there are tons of cheap and shitty ones that also won't last you forever.
If we're talking Herman Miller/Steelcase tier chairs that cost more than a 3080 when buying new, then yeah, those are meant to last and they generally have like 10 year warranties, so they're pretty confident in what they're selling. If you can find one of those used that hasn't been abused to hell it's definitely worth grabbing one.

Let's put a game in a service facing massive sub cancellations and threatens to become even worse with ads. Masterful.
They're not facing massive sub cancellations. For perspective, they've lost 2 million but they still have 220 million subscribers. Some of those 2 million are from Russia where they stopped offering their service. The rest are just natural losses because this is the first time they're facing real competition in the streaming space and inflation is hitting everyone now so people have to tighten up spending. The stock market reaction to their (less than predicted) losses was absurd but those fools somehow want infinite growth forever so it was always going to stop at some point.

My tinfoil hat theory is that their competitors are pushing Netflix doom and gloom narratives for issues that are going to affect the entire industry. Like the ad supported business. HBO Max already has it, Disney is planning it too, other smaller streaming services in America already have it but somehow only Netflix is getting raked over the coals for it. Or for example, Disney lost the IPL rights auction and are going to lose (as a guess) about 20 million or more subscribers in India in the next few months. Nobody will be writing out their obituary for that. Yesterday news came out that Netflix is considering going to weekly releases for episodes and people are losing their minds over this. Meanwhile, when HBO, Amazon, Disney and everyone else does the same thing it's considered a good thing that allows shows to build audiences and promotes discussions and what not. It all seems very weird to me.

According to SteamDB, MW2 was added in March. My baseless speculation is Phil helped grease the wheels between Valve and Activision while the MS purchase is proceeding.
MW2 is coming to Steam purely because of how poorly Vanguard performed. The game was made by the 'C team' so they must have had lowered expectations from it anyway and it still must have done substantially worse than that. Getting MW2 onto Steam is one of the easiest ways to ensure millions of sales for the next one. Also, they might be planning to implement third party payments for Warzone 2 (the way Warframe does it as an example) and that will let them potentially bypass Valve's 30% cut for the game. Given that Warzone makes a shit ton of money and possibly more than retail sales, this could be a big win for them.

The only game I care about ubi on PC is Scott Pilgrim complete edition. I hope it gets steam release if they return to steam one day. It’s a licensed franchise and wouldn’t be the first time it expires and get delisted like happened when they released it for the first time on PS360.
