Yeah, though, I doubt the fall season being packed is what's stopping them from releasing Kingdom Hearts on Steam, after all already having Valkyrie Elysium in November 11 didn't stop them from later announcing Tactics Ogre Reborn for the same day.God dammit, they already had something in October?
I wouldn't be surprised if Neo TWEWY ends up being shadow dropped later this month or during October (though I also wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get released yet either).
When it comes to Kingdom Hearts though, it's not just Squeenix, there's also Disney after all, I wouldn't be surprised if that one had a different exclusivity deal.
Talking about Epic exclusives, I wonder where Sonic Colors is.
Various Daylife? Seems like it was an Apple Arcade exclusive from 2 years ago.
This bundle worth it? Seems like you're getting Various Life for like $4 if you were already preordering Triangle Strategy. I guess the question is if Various Life even good though.

I talked about the glut of S-E releases in the last quarter with a friend a few weeks back, and how they seem to be actively trying to make some of these fail with that schedule.
Since then, they added 3 more releases.
Does anyone else get the feeling lately that most of the games from SquareEnix look the same artistically? It kinda puts me off that they announce games like Various Daylife and it looks like something in Bravely Default universe or Harvestella which also gives me BD vibes but in a third person.
That's not really on the graphical front that I'm scared.
I'm not sure if it's a legit game or a shallow thing to ride Apple moneyhat at the time.
I've heard that this is mechanicaly very basic. Anyone that played before it can confirm/debunk this?

What a day and this is just the beginning.
It's true. The customization mechanics are nowhere as complex as Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre as every character has a unique class they cannot change. Additionally they all have unique weapons that can only be upgraded. The extent of your customizati0n will be a few options on a class tree and accessory slots. The actual combat is good, but if you're looking for in depth character building then you won't find it here.
When do hear more about what's happening with Valve at TGS?

Some more Fuga coming at you! This might be our last Fuga stream, though tomorrow is more likely. Not sure what game we'll move to next but there's been a bunch we've talked about. I might have to consider creating a poll at some point.
And we're just about a week away from our charity stream which I'll be promoting more often as it gets closer. I'm really excited to see how it all works and to do my first proper charity stream.

Sometimes it still feels surreal that practically everything is coming to PC these days. Having lived through the dark times of the 00s I am amazed at the fantastic state that PC gaming is in right now.
Publishers realized PC is infinite sales.

Yes but there are more company announcements during TGS, so I expect more things to pop-up for Steam.

Bit off topic but i managed to find some time today to install custom firmware (it finally worked!) and to print "calibration cube' on 3D printer and i am impressed with performance of this "cheap" 3D printer

The issue is that if malware manages to disguise itself as a "legit" anti-cheat it can possibly be used.
Those things are a menace simply by existing, that said there's a plethora of those that nobody talks about outside of the "big companies"

Fire Emblem Engage—I don't know. The character design didn't immediately grab me like FE3H did. Nothing stands out like Hilda, Dorothea or Shamir. I hope there won't be any regressions in the mechanics, though.
Ryza 3—Is the game even about crafting anymore? Don't get me wrong, Ryza and Klaudia are as cute as ever but the trailers are mostly about exploration and battles. We'll see, I guess.
Front Mission Remakes—I always thought the protagonist's name was Lloyd in FM1 and that's the name I go by in my playthroughs, but they localised it as "Royd". Anyway, I dislike the UI and the font used, but it's not a big deal as long as they don't dumb down the gameplay. Would be nice if we can get the original SNES/PS1 soundtrack too. I hope it'll escape the console's clutches sooner than later, though.
