I’m curious about the perf of AC Origins on Deck. I guess it’s already playable with the ubi launcher, any feedback ?

Remember how i told you that i know someone who is working there and that things are not exactly how they look?

"They treated their co-workers very badly," Kompus told the Ekspress. "Despite talking to them repeatedly, things did not improve. Therefore, the company was forced to fire them. Robert [Kurvitz] is said to have been known for belittling women and co-workers in the past, but this was previously unknown to the company. It would be very short-sighted of a growing international company to tolerate such behaviour."

One source that spoke to GamesIndustry.biz, who asked to remain anonymous, described the situation as "not black and white," and said that long-term staff were reluctant to speak out about Kurvitz' behaviour because they respected him, and felt like they owed him for their positions. Our source claimed staff hired later on did not have a clear picture of the situation and felt uncomfortable speaking out on behalf of others.

So, “is said to be known” sounds like no one has a direct accusation.

of course hangout shit heads where they ever are but it has to be more than “I heard a rumour”

I think they do waves. The first wave could be Assassin's Creed (put Valhalla on sale and set up a store page for Mirage), then a wave for Far Cry 6, then one for Tom Clancy and another for their smaller games (Anno, Riders Republic, Immortals Fenyx Rising etc).
i expect pretyt much what EA did ... few waves and the whole sub coming alongside

tbh, this seems to back up what Martin Luiga said in his follow-up statement: that Kurwitz was very difficult to work with, but that toxic management exacerbated preexisting tensions in the core creative team. there's a lot of he-said/she-said, but the whole thing seems like a mess without many "good guys" to speak of

DF report on Sackboy, seems like the main issue is UE4 stutter.

I do find it strange though, because I am playing it and i did get slight stutter in the beginning, but never ever anything close to what he seems to get, which is more like freezes.
The exact same thing seems to happen to him in Gotham Knights as well, Alex has freezes of 1-2 seconds, but then you look at gameplay from Cohhcarnage and he doesn't get any freeze on his PC.
There's a new (apparently 5 GB) patch that, according to reports by users elsewhere, solved the problems with shader stutters.

Patch notes:

There's also 3 new (free) costume DLCs now available. Here's a list of the currently available ones (since not all of them are currently listed on the store page):

PSA:
The blue checkmark means jack shit anymore, you can buy it for 8 bucks a month without any background check since Musk took over.
€dit: and have any display name whatsoever, even names that are already "used". Only the little @xxxxxxx is unique

Exactly. You have to click the checkmark to see WHY the account is "verified".

Saw a site called Yuplay while looking at prices for Miles Morales on ggdeals.
It currently has the best price but is listed in the unofficial sites. It only has 1 risk though (unknown source of the keys) which is the same as cdkeys.
Anyone here ever use it?
