When it comes to quality food, nobody can touch the Italians.
On the other hand, they are also completely and utterly obsessed about it, from my limited personal experience.

I wouldn't mind owning a car lmao
I'm enjoying Midnight Suns a lot but gotta say that this launch hasn't been the best. Basically my save files from the last couple of days no longer work when connected to Steam but work when in offline mode. My choices now is to lose a few missions worth of progress or be forced to play in offline mode until I beat it. So lame. It sucks as I play between my desktop and my GPD Win Max 2.
Any Mediterranean cuisine is on par with the Italians. Greek, southern France, Portuguese and a big chunk of Spanish cuisine are amazing and also healthy.
I love a good lasagna. Its probably my personal fav dish with proper ingredients n everything.
But outside of that I'm not big on Italian. I'll take most other European, Mexican and various Asian foods over Italian any day of the week.

As a Japanese living in America, I'll just say this. Almost all distinguished European cuisine looks exotic and fancy to me.
Americans eat slop tbh, tasty slop, but slop none the less with shit ingredients. And Japanese food is just "normal" to me. But there's something oddly exotic about Hektor 's German food posts on twitter, or seeing an actual Italian granny crank out that amazing Sunday feast.
Also coincidentally, all the best cheeses I ever had are European. Don't get me wrong, I love a good sharp Cheddar from New England, but European cheese is a craft two thousand years in development and it's amazing. Bread too come to think of it...

So my Steam Deck arrived last Monday, and its been an overall great experience. Most games run well enough on it despite not being verified or even confirmed as playable (like Crisis Core, which just came out today). I dont know what kind of dark magic they used on that device's Steam Link functionality, but it's so much better at streaming from my desktop rig, which is literally wired to my TV's physical Steam Link.
Theres been some teething pains - I really dislike the OS interface, the shoulder buttons (particularly the bumpers) are... not great.
The wifi card, while very speedy (around 80% of my wired desktop speed, which is amazing), had frequent disconnect errors from my router - I had to fix it by entering developer mode and turning off the wifi power saving, which fixed everything. Most users approaching the SD as a handheld "console" wouldnt even bother looking this up and get frustrated.
But with everything else, Valve absolutely knocked it out of the park, easily my favorite purchase of 2022. It could have been smaller, I guess? But even at its (enormous) size, its a great alternative to bringing a laptop on short vacations, and extremely useful to play PC games while lounging around the house.

Sure, I'd agree about Spanish and French cuisine potentially matching the Italians (very little experience with Portuguese so I can't comment). Not a big fan of Greek food though, it's perfectly acceptable but I've never had a Greek meal that blew me away.
I grew up eating Mexican food and it is definitely not healthy but let me tell you it is definitely very tasty. The only heatly ingredient that I eat at times are Avocados.

I love Mexican food!
And yes, have eaten many, many tacos (and chimichangas, and birria), so good.There's a few good places here in the Philippines, but it's mostly California influenced Mexican. Would love to someday try some homegrown Mexican grub.
I am glad that CDPR listened and they added "Classic" branch on Steam so you can keep old version of W3. Especially because based on first impressions even without RT game is demanding.

Portal with RTX is out (free if you already own Portal, since it's been given away multiple times everyone should), and that fresh coat of ray tracing on the game makes breezing through some light puzzles really pleasant. Check it out for a chill time. Also when you get to the chambers with the bouncing lights you can stop and marvel at the cool ray traced lighting on all the surfaces as the balls go through your portals.

Lol I'm sure they'll patch it but yeah, I sort of expected it might be rough at first. I'll probably fire it up and see for myself when I have time (hopefully tonight) but if I fare no better I'll just focus on finishing what I'm already playing for now. I'm in no hurry to jump back into a 100+ hours long RPG.

I mean know why, but I also feel like the tools to avoid it are all there, yet... aren't used?
Like, shader compilation stutter happens because shaders can't be pre-compiled for PC and are instead compiled when needed.
This doesn't happen on consoles, because they are a fixed target, so pre-compilation is possible.
Since pre-compilation is possible, it means the engine has to be aware of all shaders.
Since the engine is aware of all shaders, why is it such an issue to move the pre-compilation step from "in-engine" to "somewhere in the game where it doesn't bother anyone". I.e. First time loading, or in the background while in the main menu, etc.
This seems so completely straightforward that it's absolutely mystifying to me why this isn't already standard practice. Yet even UE5 seemingly hasn't figured this shit out.
