Finally, one of our future releases will be able to benefit from your PC having 32 GB of memory. Or 64 for that matter.
(It will work perfectly fine with 8 GB, but unlike everything we -- and most people -- released before it will actually scale its caching up to arbitrary memory size to further improve load times)

I say "finally" because I wanted to do this for years, but never got around to implementing all the underlying software infrastructure.

(Also, I should probably say "more directly benefit" -- games already benefit from more memory due to Windows file caching)

Sealed PS4 20th anniversary sold!
Now I'm quite sad but well at least half of new gaming PC budget got -2150€-. The guy who bought it has made like 825 km to get it.
Just got Switch's Sports Story, this night I will dump the ROM and try it on Steam Deck.

Damn, can't believe a PS4 would still sell for that much.
And such a big trip too, guess he was afraid of it getting damaged in the mail.

Yep I was selling it for 2400, he offered me 1800, then we made the deal for 2150. I'm the first one who don't want to send this kind of products because there's a lot of scam. I'm paranoic reading people who send something then the one who bought it says he hasn't got the bought stuff, complain to platform holder and you finally lose your product and money.
The most unbelievable deal I made was during last year when I sold 7 limited japanese Ichiban Kuji Son Goku and Vegeta figures to a chinese guy on this spanish people only buy-sell platform. He signed up on the site, sent a friend -chinese too- who was in Barcelona during that time to met me and buy me those figures for 1800 eruos in cash. I still don't get how this was possible XD
Deal in hand is always the better.

I have once again returned from nowhere to put this forum on my favourites tab so I don't disappear for 2 months again

here's a fun recap:
  • my laptop had the ball bearings go out of control, so i had to send it in for repair - got a loan PC from the company, an absolutely huge HP Omen, and holy shit - it¨s so much heavier, bigger and just more everything than this little nice laptop of mine, but I still prefer mine for having the almost the same power, but smaller, thinner, and just more cool
  • my exams can be described with only one thing: the four fucking horsemen of the apocalypse coming at me, one by one, it was absolute conquest, warfare, famine and death hauling my ass - my final grades for the four topics are probably C (chance of B), C (chance of B), F and C.
  • i started a new playthrough of death stranding, this time on very hard difficulty
  • and i also started drawing to calm myself and not stress about fucking graphics programming, one of the topics I got for exam, as I had handed in spaghetti code with no comments - I just hope everything goes fine there with no complications
oh yeah, plans for the future is probably good thing to write about too:

good plans i have no worry about
  • with my laptop returned, i want to expand storage, but i have no more slots for internal ssd, so i have to get an external ssd - there's a nice samsung one for 90 dollars i'm planning to buy after christmas
  • i also want more games, considering to buy NMH3, as well as download the upcoming P3P remaster, hitman 3 for freelancer mode, as well as more to come
  • when i get good enough, i also want to get some drawing tablet of sorts - the student i mention later down the line is also an artist, i'm considering asking her if she has any previous ones she's willing to sell, would be way cheaper than buying a new one, plus i don't want my folks to know i've picked up drawing

bad upcomings i worry about
  • because my laptop was sent to repairs, i had to loan another student's secondary laptop to read exam material - when i got done with the laptop, i wrote a small txt file on my user on the laptop in case she snooped around there as a little "what are you doing here? thanks again for the loan" - the problem is that i had not slept for three days, three nights, so you can expect awkward language, the good part is that she went home for christmas before i did, so i had to put her laptop in the dorm common room, meaning anyone can access it at any time - i have now a mission to return to that laptop before she does at the start of this upcoming semester, to delete that txt file so that she never can read it
  • i wrote spaghetti code in graphicsprogramming, which worries me for some strange reason, almost like a sixth sense that tells me that trouble is brewing, as if the future devil told me my death will be the worst
  • i, as well as the rest of the class probably, got F's on web technology, meaning we'll have to take the exam again in 8-9 months, which is a pain in the ass as it'll collude with our future exams next semester, but it's a far pain in the ass

Tried a bunch of pirated VR games to see if they are good enough to buy as Im more picky with VR games than normal games:

Stride: really good Mirror's Edge like
Wraith Afterlife: pretty basic horror game
Ven VR: damn, this one is really good, like Astrobot VR's little brother
Espire: nah

Guys this might be a dumb question, so I apologize in advance lol. But, is there a safe way to change my steam region from Venezuela to the US? I wanna buy GTA V on steam but that game is banned in my country, so I can't buy it. And I don't wanna play the shitty Epic or Rockstar Launcher version :weary-face:

Bricked a 120GB SD card when the Firmware update script for my new Analogue Pocket crashed. Only alternative in the house is a 512 GB backup for my Steam Deck... not gonna risk that.
Ah well, not gonna play the Pocket much over the break then, back to Persona 5.

Been playing Citizen Sleeper. Absolutely loving the game so far. In fact it may be pushing Vampire Survivors out of my top spot for GOTY. I am going to complete my path through the Story before making that final decision. Plus there are a couple of re-plays planned due to the way the story seems to branch. But yeah, great game.

I just tried it on a Pathfinder: WotR and it worked for me. Just pops up

Are you using a STEAM skin or something?
It happened to me recently too. Got a couple of updates and clicking didn’t do shit.
I promptly resumed my disdain for everything.

What can I say, I’m grumpy-happy.

I think you need a vpn, an address in the US but most importantly a payment method in the states.
Furthermore, as far as I know, you won't be able to change back for a while (someone please confirm or debunk this) - so you'd be stuck with us prices for that time.

Unfortunately gifting doesn't work since the game isn't available in your country.
