I was going to buy Forspoken but then i saw the price.... eeeek!
I'll wait for a sale or when i'm drunk enough not to want to play something from my library lol.
I already have my list of day 1 games I'm willing to spend full price (50 bucks or more) , i.e. Yakuza Ishin, Dead Space, RE4, I simply refuse to pay more than that.

That Xbox developer conference was very mid yesterday.

They are still sitting on too many announced games.

Hellblade 2
Fable
Outerworlds 2
Avowed
Perfect Dark
State of Decay 3
Starfield

Need more gameplay trailers and release dates.

And we probably get not updates now until June when E3 season starts :(

Starfield is most likely a Sept/Oct/Nov release now. Their 2nd half of the year could be decent if they can put out Starfield, Forza and maybe Hellblade 2.

I got a feeling that some of those announcements (like Perfect Dark and Fable) were at least in part announced so early so it would be easier to higher more developers to work on the games.

Does anyone else feel this day is going s l o o o w

no, god no. same as everyday, it's moving too fast. please make it stop. every morning I get to bed and ask the same thing, "holy shit, where did my time go?" :huhblob:

And then I lay there and think about revenge bedtime procrastination and fucking everything up even more.

After just the first level, I can already tell that Hi-Fi Rush is gonna be incredible.

I'm impressed at how they incorporated the rhythm aspects into the game. Other rhythm-meets-x genre blends I've played have been middling at best, but the implementation here works great. Making your attacks sync to the beat makes it easy to get on-beat even if you start your combo off-beat, and the big beat attack finishers at the end of your combos give you extra visual feedback to keep you on track.

But equally impressive is just how well it works as a straight up character-action game. The beat attacks are a lot like wicked weaves from Bayonetta: extra strong attacks to reward you for nailing a full combo. But where there weren't that many types of weaves, the beat attacks in HFR seem to have a lot of variation. From your start combos, you have a beat attack that releases a string of small aoe hits, a huge aoe blast, a massive laser, and a volley of smaller hits, and from what I saw in the shop, most of your unlockable combos have bespoke beat attacks. It's a cool system.

Absolutely wild that Tango Gameworks, of all studios, is behind the best character action game since DMC5. And to shadow drop it, no less.

Lets just hope all those CGI trailers weren't some repeat of E3 2014 where just about everything they showed never saw the light of day.

They are in much better shape now with Gamepass and everything but you never know.

With all the devs they've acquired and soon to acquire...their content pipeline needs to be much better than it was last year. Just imagine how dire it would have been if they never acquired Bethesda.

They want to be the Netflix of gaming they need to have stuff like Hi-Fi Rush on a monthly basis along with all big stuff too.

Finished the first tutorial level for hi-fi rush, it's pretty alright, I can see myself loving the rest of the game since this is really a dmc rhythm game, but surprisingly it actually works well, since everything is sync'ed to the beats, it's a good time. I heard it gets better so can't wait to play more.

Man I kinda wanted to get the rain world dlc but then I remember I just die in five minutes in the base game.
iirc they added "easy mode" playble slugcat in vanilla game (the yellow Monk for chilly playstyle and red Hunter for aggressive playstyle ) aswell as whole chill gameplay mode in Douwpour ... so there are ways now

+ quite a bunch of other accessibilt settings

also from little i playied of the current build . even the original game mode with the nomal slugcat is much less punishing than it originally was on launh

Overall really great expansion with tons of new content and new gampeplay modes (the 5 new slugcats are quite different to play as vs the original game's 3 )

and the new ones are cute

I can be as purchase happy as the next person, tempted by the shiny new game effect, a good mark.
That being said my overall feeling while looking at Dead Space remains, ‘but why, though’.

2008 was not so long ago that I forgot one of the best modern survival horror. That they promptly butchered as soon as DR3 (even DR2 if you ask me).

2008 was 15 years ago. A long time in this industry.

Wow, I’ve been waiting for this one to appear on Steam. Looks awesome!

I think I somewhat agree that DS doesn’t need a remake. But I think if this is successful then there may be an opportunity to course correct on the sequels and actually make them worthy of the original.

I heard that they added settings to make the gamemmore accesible?
Maybe check if the changes help you.

Sold! I'm getting it. Loved the game but never really got very far. Easy mode sounds great to me.

made an OT for Hi-Fi Rush

I wish I could block whole threads and mute things on the Steam forums. Otherwise they can be a great tool; I found info and help there using the search; and Ive provided help when I could, as well.
It suffers from the same problem every big platform: the more people, the worse it gets over time.

I do think Steam forums can be valuable, I do wish they were moderated better, but yeah I have found a lot of helpful info that I cannot find anywhere else

lol 2k has added anti cheat checks to their single player games

midnight suns wont boot with anything open, it then crashes to desktop if you open something afterwards

glad they focused on this and not the many bugs
Remove that shitty launcher of you haven't already. Removing that piece of trash improved my experience SIGNIFICANTLY.

Can you still do that ? Honestly surprised some fucker didn't want it patched out. This pertains greatly to my interests as I just installed the game as one of my few 'next to play'.

Other than that one I still have to decide if I want to play Fire Emblem Three Houses or Engage, or Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
