Need to know if Paranormasight is Deck friendly :so-good-blob:
Gave it a quick test on your behalf, though I'm not actually planning to get too into it yet (because Dead Cells).

So far so good, it runs well and has native gamepad support. For sections where you have to type things, theres no in-game KB so you have to bring up the SteamOS keeb using Steam+X.

Art style looks great on the Deck screen, so good!

So I had the urge to play some STALKER and this time I picked vanilla Anomaly. 20 hours in my game crashed during saving and the save file is corrupt. Last save was a couple of hours ago.

I found a sweet exosuit after manually saving, so that's gone. Should have saved more often.

Still awesome fan game. Just needed to vent. Not looking forward to turning off the Brain Scorcher again.

Is this actually going to be the Ultimate Edition of Control or are they going to use the version with no DLC again?

This does seem pretty good for me though.

Are you talking about the crashes regarding Returnal?
I agree that they really need to fix that, but we've played for 25+ hours in coop now on DX11 without a single crash.

Also, the game does support HDR in DX11 mode, the only thing you lose is raytracing (which really doesn't do all that much in Returnal).
After updating the vulkan drivers to the prerelease version I haven't had a single crash in dx12 mode under linux, before that had to force dx11 mode, or it was a crash fest

Hey so do these all have single player campaigns? And if so are they any good?
MW19 and Cold War are solid shooters. Not great and not peak COD (that is MW1/MW2/Infinite), but a good time. I am playing Vanguard for the first time and will then roll through the other two again for the achievements lol.

Ta. I like a good COD shooty game, been a while since i played one. I think Advanced war was my last which was great,

Edit - actually, I think it was Infinite war that was the last good one i played, the spacey one that was basically like Battlestar Galatica. I think Advanced war was the Kevin spacey one which was ok.

They dont seem to go on sale that much so i may pick one or two of these up.

My goodness SpaceBourne 2 is so gosh-darn good.

It absolutely blows my mind that it's entirely made by one guy.

Has a lot of the trappings that plague other micro-indies such as questionable polish levels, but good gravy does it also sport a ton of ambition & heart.
I picked this up after seeing your previous recommendation. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but I'm a sucker for space sims and it seems incredibly ambitious, as you mention, especially for a single dev project.

I had this other game on my wishlist that released quietly a few days ago. It's a GZDoom standalone immersive sim with Stalker like vibes. It looks very... basic... but it seems atmospheric and could be interesting.

They all have single player campaigns. Modern Warfare 19 had a very nice campaign with some good levels (and one great level). The Cold War campaign was decent as well but you could tell they had to stitch together two different projects to make it happen (which is what happened with the development of the game). I haven't played Vanguard. Although they are still COD campaigns so you already know how they're going to play. If you have any objections with the way their campaigns are then these ones aren't some radical departure that will change your mind.

3 Trails game in one year. What a time to be alive.

I'd like to take this opportunity to let people be aware that there are some bad actors on Twitter who goes around DMing spoilers from unlocalised Trails game, especially Kuro I and II. They normally do this to people who posted replies to NISA's tweets.

Already reading two VNs concurrently, it's time for another one.

I just noticed on the store screenshots, why the everloving fuck would they use green color for standard text?
It looks terrible!

I agree, but I'm hoping it's just because the text is already been read. I still don't like that they're using Verdana.ttf :flare_pout:

Nah, got the fake ultimate edition without dlcs from humble choice awhile back.

Now I bought the humble heroines and got the real ultimate edition.
Oh, ok. Did you remove the standard edition. I read in the Steam forums, you still install the standard edition with dlcs instead of the real Ultimate edition. You have to remove standard edition in order to install Ultimate edition

According the steam forums, you have to remove the standard edition. After that you can install the real version

If you never have Control on your Steam account, it's safe to activate the Control Ultimate Edition from the Humble Heroines bundle with install size 42.83 GB.

If you already have Control standard edition, you'll get the standard edition + DLC with install size 49.58 GB.

You need to REMOVE Control standard edition from your account to be able to install the "real" Ultimate Edition.

Yeah, I've done it and it is downloading 42gb now. Will edit this after confirming it work.

edit: It works. The exe is the same as gog's ultimate edition., i think. Since I only have to modify 2 offset to unlock the ps4 dlc instead of 3 offset like before.
