The whole rogue like thing is so badly my interest is actually way more piqued when it's NOT A ROGUE like that's how bad my irrational hatred of rogue like.

with that said, I would love to see someone do RE2Remake randomizer but man fuck that tyrant I cant' even imagine not having that infinite ammo MP5 to unload on him when im dodging him

at least there was catharticism when i fucked him up with rocket launcher (fuck on outta here.) it was much less carhatic when William Birkin fucken impales him in Claire's scenario and also there's giant fucking softlock that comes outta nowhere and apparently im the only other person on the english speaking part of the internet to have this happen in claire A scenario which has rightly put me off playing the main campaign. RE3 remake > RE2 Remake for story but RE2 Remake > RE3 remake for after game content.

If Capcom is smart enough (and let's pray tell they are) they use the mercenaries popularity to do real spinoffs like what you saw with Resident Evil Mercenaries 3DS (hey there's blast from the past) I hope it's like what they do with diablo 3 genuinely hope

and also we're fucking old when the 3DS is a considered OLD HOLY SHIT:cryingwhyblob:

Actually a pretty easy month for me - only thing in the thread highlights I'm interested in is Terra Nil. Still finishing up Returnal and Evil West, and then onto the next hopefully. Really haven't finished many games this year compared to this time last year. Been a weird couple of months.

Thanks for the new thread Mor!

March is pretty stacked, but I am already overspent. I need to hold off on Ryza, I still need to play through more of what I have of Atelier games. RE4 is really tempting as I never could get the PC version feeling good to play. I am back and forth on Last of Us since I already played it on PS3. Paranormasight also looks good, but I may wait for reviews. I might get Trails just to support the release. Also if I get my VR going again Saints and Sinners looks cool. Too many games :dizzy-face:

If you're talking about the current steam version, try this.

Never could get into RE4 before, but with that and Resident Evil 4 HD Project | The Complete HD Remaster of Resident Evil 4 textures (which includes re4_tweaks), I realized higher FOV and usable mk+b controls are all I need to enjoy the game. Even getting all the achievements for it on steam in the end.

$2000? Has he seen gpu prices? :ROFLMAO:

But the bit about tech support from sony is big though. They did that for callisto protocol, sent over like 100+ devs to help, and the result was the ps5 version was the only one at launch that wasn't falling apart at the seams. FF16 does seem to have made significant strides in the years since it was first shown off. I remember back then it looked super rough and noticeably last gen. Now it looks pretty good all things considered.

Its nice to know they actually have a PC port in some sort of active development. And they are actually talking about it even if its not coded to the metal like the wonderful and pristine PS5 version :face-with-rolling-eyes:. I would have expected them to be silent.

FF7R and FFXV were 16-18 months late to Steam. So this one looks like it can make it out in about half that time. So hopefully its early next year.

Also can't wait for all the jokes about FFXVI releasing on Steam before Kingdom Hearts games :cautious:

With Atomic Heart just releasing and System Shock this month. And assuming Judas makes it out later this year. It feels really good to see these immersive singleplayer focused FPS action/rpgs still be a thing. It kinda started to feel like this genre was on its way out. There hasn't really been anything on impressive quality level of Atomic Heart since Prey 2017. Both visually and mechanically.

Hopefully Arkane can return to making these type of games after Redfall.

Also it can't be too hard to convince Phil that these types of games are perfect for Gamepass. And they still sell pretty well on the side. Atomic Heart already with 13k steam reviews. Prey with over 40k and DIshonored 2 with nearly 50k. These games are good for at least one mil via steam and then you have all the copies they sell/sold on consoles. This has to be much safer than the multiplayer GaaS which is a crapshoot most of the time. And they take just as much if not more dev time.

Have you checked the most recent demo? It feels incredibly polished at this point. You usually don't see that until a game is basically done.

I have a hard time believing anything coming from SE mouth when it comes to ps5 exclusives. I still remember the "Designed for PS5" thing in the Forspoken (when it didn't even have a name) Trailer. Granted, I have no Idea of the context of what he's refering to, but at some point I stoped taking seriously anything that SE said so ¯\(ツ)

After reading all the disappointing reviews of Kerbal SP 2 I decided not to buy it and so I've loaded the first one up again and am completely hooked. I've added a load of mods which i never dabbled with before. You can make it look pretty good and there are lots of cool sound mods so its like playing a new game.
