If you're talking about BG3, try skipping their launcher if you haven't already ( insert --skip-launcher into launch parameters )Why the fuck do I need to make a Larian account now
Great post.I've gotten six different people so far that have pinged me of this port's existence today, and based on some old tweets from one of the Ghostlight community managers, I'm not shocked that this was indeed the game they were porting. That said, I'm extremely skeptical after the second game's PC release, and Ghostlight's consistently mediocre track record with PC releases (Setting aside the 10 minute minigame that can be completely avoided, and sadly was the only point of contention that Steam forum users had).

I mean, Valve baited the guy who stole the code for HL2 into traveling to the US with a promise of a job offering and he would be rotting in prison if the German authorities didn't step in.I’ve been reading more about what Nintendo did to Gary Bowser.
It’s not a good look, to put it gently.
I feel grubby having bought the 2x game vouchers for £84 to get Tears of the Kingdom. I’m not even sure if I’ll play the game - it might feel like a tainted experience for me.
One thing is clear, though. I think that’s it for me buying Nintendo stuff.
Companies are shitty and there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism and all that, but for me personally, supporting Nintendo going forward just feels icky.
Like, this isn’t some abstract exploitation or some sort of side effect. Nintendo, and people working for Nintendo, have specifically gone out of their way to give one man a life sentence of poverty.
It’s incredibly mean-spirited and feels like a cruel and unusual punishment.
Divinity 2, but yeah I checked pcgamingwiki and found this commandIf you're talking about BG3, try skipping their launcher if you haven't already ( insert --skip-launcher into launch parameters )
It's odd you'd only see this now, a quick search showed people being annoyed about it a couple years ago already. Some people claim there's an option to just skip account creation, others claim that's not there. Dunno what's true
I'll be playing this one (eventually) almost regardless of quality -- there simply aren't enough local coop JRPGs for me not to -- so I'm happy to see that the reviews seem rather positive so far.
Out now
It's been a long while since I got a game on it's release day. Quite curious how my PC will handle this one and if Respawn can keep the game as fun and interesting as the original.
Please don't be buttcheeks
Yea at first the rumored price was around the highest end Deck model price. And now they are bringing up numbers like 1000$.
The Ally is totally going to be $999.99
This new age of puritanism is seriously annoying, especially when it can hit an any time for whatever reason. Developers' livings should not be put in danger just because a bank or paypal feels offended. Market and consumers are the only thing that should speak when talking about a product, even if it's porn
This game is doing big numbers on Steam. It has peaked at over 31k concurrent and is currently 17th on the global charts. The premise is you are a single father raising your daughter. Not my thing, but still cool to see it be successful.
They have a discord icon, but it is unclickable...you got the link?Just found this neat Pulstar-like co-op game where you man a spaceship and go around doing stuff with it and on foot. Very early dev but pretty cool so far too.

Considering how much MS tried to woo the CMA by striking deals with cloud companies, I'm extremely surprised. As the FTC was already trying to block the deal in the US, it could very well be dead in the water. So much for Diablo 4 on Steam.Looks like the UK CMA have blocked Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.
Pretty shocking, actually. I thought it would go through.
While I’m against consolidation, ActiBlizz is looking to sell. Who else can possibly buy them?
RIP indeed. But MS are hardly trustworthy in the long term. Them releasing games on Steam feels like a stepping-stone to doing their own thing, unless they significantly roll back their gaming ambitions in the future.Considering how much MS tried to woo the CMA by striking deals with cloud companies, I'm extremely surprised. I think MS games will come to Steam as long as Gabe is running Valve due to his connections with Microsoft. Will MS continue putting their games on Steam after Gabe retires/dies? Who knows, but hopefully that's far into the future.RIP indeed. But MS are hardly trustworthy in the long term. What’s bizarre is that the CMA used cloud gaming as the reason, which is hilarious because that’s a dead-end market in my view. There’s no competition to be had because it’s expensive, shit, and littered with failures.
I'm not expecting good things from the VRAM side of the 4060 Ti if the rumored specs are true (8GB of VRAM, 128 bit bus width, same memory bandwidth as the 1660 Ti).Gaming News (@GamingNews@meta.masto.host)

They plan to appeal, so that £69bn potentially earmarked for Obsidian is still tied up.Honestly shocked by the news. Well now MS can put more money into Obsidian. Right?
I'd still expect MS to get them if they appeal, but otherwise, my guess would be a sovereign wealth fund (probably one of the middle-east countries, like Saudi Arabia).Looks like the UK CMA have blocked Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.

Yeah, either the Saudis or a CCP puppet, which will be wonderful for the industry.I'd still expect MS to get them if they appeal, but otherwise, my guess would be a sovereign wealth fund (probably one of the middle-east countries, like Saudi Arabia).
Surely MS has to now pledge to release all of their games on as many stores that want them.RIP indeed. But MS are hardly trustworthy in the long term. I cared insomuch that I wanted Blizzard games on Steam. Otherwise I'm just here for the drama.Anyone else here who just...don't care about the acquisition?
Blizzard on Steam would have been nice, even if I had to rebuy all my stuff on BattleNet.Anyone else here who just...don't care about the acquisition?
