I think Alan Wake 2 will be the big one, but yeah, it will be interesting to see if Tim Epic is still willing to burn money on egslusives. Not really, that stuff slowed down BY A LOT

Yes, if Silent Hill 2 is the path they are going to follow, it's easy to expect a Day 1 PC release.Get the anger out of you now then . Though it could still be a day 1 PC release I guess.
I expect their publishing brand will start announcing stuff sooner or later, however, I wouldn't expect them to keep burning money on a lot of EGS timed exclusives, there will be a few more but most (at least those few I know about) are likely from multi-game deals signed few years ago.I think Alan Wake 2 will be the big one, but yeah, it will be interesting to see if Tim Epic is still willing to burn money on egslusives.
lashman Can you explain now? I'm still so confused as to why you were hinting at something horrible about this game and are still acting dejected about it lol. That trailer was great.

I personally don't mind the publisher deals half as much. I really doubt we would have seen Wake 2 without it, from what I understand Epic is really the one's paying the bills there when no larger publisher wanted to risk a sequel.Yes, if Silent Hill 2 is the path they are going to follow, it's easy to expect a Day 1 PC release.

To be honest, even published ones will likely reach Steam at some point in the future, even AW2 if I had to guess, but as always, patience is key.
This looks f*cking incredible! I don't care about weird kameo's and stuff, as long as the game is good and Mileena is in there I'm happy.

Really looking forward to this one. Let's hope it's a decent port with good net code. Oh and Tim, I will kill your dog if it's EGS exclusive.
Q: Which PC platforms will Mortal Kombat 1 be available on?
A: Mortal Kombat 1 will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Agreed. But I still don't want their publishing label to become successful. Epic has been proven to be a shitty company over and over again during the past few years. The less games they are involved the better imo.I personally don't mind the publisher deals half as much. eh, probably not, tbh, they largely stopped paying for moneyhats. Could be some Epic Publishing announcements, though I wouldn't expect the Playdead or genDesign reveals from a PC-centric showConsidering it's the PC Gamer show I expect a lot of EGS
Dang, really? I assumed it was doing this because I have Immortals installed through PC Game Pass, not merely because my Ubi account was linked. Either way, it's annoying.
AW2 won't do well. It's niche as fuck. Im saying that as a self-declared Alan Wake superfan who has the first game as one of my favorite games of all time.Agreed. I'm also pretty sure that the chance of Epic published games appearing on other storefronts will be largely dependent on their succes. If Alan Wake 2 is doing well on EGS, it's rather unlikely that Epic will allow Remedy to self-publish the game on Steam or GoG.
Yeah, AW2 is likely going to bomb super hard lol. I've been wanting AW2 very badly for a long time now and I don't fault Epic for funding it when nobody else wanted to. But giving me Alan Wake 2 still isn't enough to make me use the EGS or to offset all the harm they've done with their bullshit. At best, they'll get me to pirate a game for the first time in well over a decade. Great job, Tim!AW2 won't do well. It's niche as fuck. Only reason I will get to play the sequel at all is because Epic is funding it.
Perhaps AW2 will do better than the first game thanks to Control?AW2 won't do well. It's niche as fuck. Im saying that as a self-declared Alan Wake superfan who has the first game as one of my favorite games of all time.

A huge increase in framerate with DLSS3. Not every game supports this however.Soooo

I have currently a 1660 super, how much can I expect from a normal 4060?
T-thanks, steam-sanThis seems new
Now I know when new versions of the game is available
Based on the computerbase average fps results across multiple games at 1080p, when comparing to the 1660 Super:Soooo

The 4060 is using the chip usually reserved for the 50 series, so you're not that far off.Knowing Nvidia about 1060 performance lmao
On PC, sure, but consoles are a thing, you know.I feel AW 2 is a doomed game regardless.
Without Epic, no AW2.
With Epic, AW2 will be thrown into the black hole and be forgotten after the first week of launch. There will be quite a lot of promotion on different shows and in other places, people will not care or ignore it "what's alan wake?", it will have a ton of Twitch views as Epic will partner up with a lot of big and smaller streamers, then after 2 weeks, AW2 will promo, excitement and hype will die down and it's release will feel like a suddent wave of wind had suddenly gone by without anyone actually having thought about the game.
Epic will only talk about how well it has done critically and among streamers, because it will be a good game, but will avoid sales and revenue as long as possible and any sort of revenue/sale talk will come out an article where Remedy is interviewed where they talk about how "the game didn't perform commercially well, but it was expected, but they are happy the game is out on the market at all".
2 years passes by and the game is out on Steam and that's when people realize that AW2 is a thing.
This post is not a joke, it is what I think will happen.
Got to get those kids trained to spend money on microtransactions in 2K games.Lego 2K Drive is very fun but the microtransactions are pretty gross given it’s a kids game.
It will do better on consoles, but not much, imo.On PC, sure, but consoles are a thing, you know.
it isn't out yet, but as an entry tier card it isn't bad.I think RTX 4060 is targeted more towards people that still run GTX cards. I went from GTX 1060 to 4060 and the upgrade was huuuge
nothing special needed, everything runs fast.
