why is it hard to understand that fans of something like buying games they are fans of? I like the tabletop game, I enjoy the books they publish. The games appeal to me.

I mean as a fan of 40K I have bought Boltgun so far. Last year was Total War and then a couple of years ago it was Necromunda.

outside of that i only buy faction packs of the armies I like for total war (so orks /goblins) grab others in sales. It’s very easy to ignore the mobile games.

the same with gladius mentioned above. I may grab Chaos Space Marines but not a fan of the other factions

Anyway damn site cheaper than the table top game.

They will probably just give the trailer to Keighley or PCGamer show.

It must be some game that already has a PS5 version so it made no sense to put it into the Sony Showcase which had to have games that are releasing for PS5/PSVR2 in it.

My guess is Ghosts of Tsushima Directors Cut since it was in the Nvidia leak. I really hope its DemonSouls or Bloodborne tho.

Nearly 20GB for 5mins of play certainly is a choice.

But still I found this "prologue" to be good, it put the full release on my radar (will at least check the impressions). I hope you play more with the kid as a protagonist, she has quite the humor.

Also funny that the "Preorder Now" button ingame does nothing.

Or Joel can barely stand up afterwards. Maybe his knees crack giving, this alerting enemies nearby.

Sony is in the list of participants for the summer games fest main show, at least.

I don’t think we’ll see Horizon FW until they have a complete edition out.

Of that list of three, Rift Apart is my first choice.

And I agree that Horizon FW is probably another 6-12 months off. But it’s also the first party PS5 game I’m most excited to see on PC at the moment.

Porting Rift Apart before R&C PS4 would be another stupid move by Sony. In general porting R&C as much as i like those games shouldn't be their priority. It will have same destiny as Sackboy. Demon's Soulsand GoT should be their priorities.

R&C PS4 is a standalone retelling of the OG game and is pretty much non canon now. They do not need to bring it before Rift Apart.

This. Plus all the R&C games, unless direct sequels in terms of plot, stand well enough on their own.

I’ve never played the PS2 games but launched straight into the PS3 Future games. And having played Rift Apart when I owned a PS5, I can tell you it works amazingly well as a standalone game.

And I doubt R&C will suffer the same fate as Sackboy. Sackboy is a decent game that could’ve been better, but ultimately suffered on PC because it’s a couch co-op title.

Meanwhile, Rift Apart is a PS5 showcase game and for all intents and purposes a AAA single player platformer that is widely regarded as an excellent title. There is absolutely a market for it on PC.

I wonder if the later Ratchet PS3 games play good with emulation. I must admit I skipped 2-3 releases in the franchise when they went coop or tower defense. Pretty sure I missed the last regular episode, too.
Then again, I'm in the camp that the series lost its luster when entering its HD era and Insomniac thought it a good idea to tone down the humor in favor of gravitas. Sorry Clank, sorry Ratchet, but what you do best is crack a joke while destroying a dozen enemy on screen, not fucking ponder the unfairness of your existences.

PS. Just look how they massacred Qwark. He was a legit funny character once.

I gave the demo a chance and I quite liked it. The game is still in early access so I'll not purchase it right now but it's something to keep my eye on once it receives more content or when there is a date for 1.0.

Ghost is such a fantastic game. Never got the expansion on PS4 because I've been waiting for the PC version.

If they are doing a collection they will sure put it on Steam.
A collection makes some sense because of several reasons :
-Gears 6 or whatever it will be called, is not coming until next year at the earliest.
-There is a considerable gap in what is currently available on PC, with Gears 2 & 3 having never been released on PC.
-I don't think console owners will terribly mind a Gears 2 remake with a better looking version of Gears 3.

Do it Microsoft.
 
For me, both Ghosts of Tsushima and Ratchet & Clank are the first of the Sony games that are on my Must Have list.

Fighting the urge to buy a PS5. It would only be for FFXVI (must stay strong for the 2+ years wait) and FFVIIR-2 (same thing again). Definitely not for Spider-Man after that showing…

Boltgun is very very good.

And Stardew Valley still remains one of my GoaT.

What's sort of annoying to me with Gollum is the game got delayed for like an entire year so like... they knew what they were working with quality wise but more so what did they even do in that time??


I'm going to give the Suicide Squad Kill the Justice league game a huuuuuge grain of salt for stuff because I love DC things and it's the last game Kevin Conroy is going be the voice of batman in so I'm going to buy it regardless of it being a giant pile of shit or not

Realistically the last few "AAA" games have been absolute trash though and the delays for them have done nothing to help them, surely something has to come out and be an exception right? Who knows
 
I can't wait until we start seeing job listings pop up for crafting the team's apology statement upon release of the game.

People are fed up with this nonsense. Don't even waste our time with the fake apology, you knew the game was this busted.

Ghostwire is pretty good, but it kinda sucks that so many Choice headliners are gamepass games.
